It's only in servers in CS:S or TF2 that are specifically designated as furry where I see a lot of furry porn as tags.
Hell, I've been on 4chan servers or hentai servers where people sprayed lolicon.
On another note, I think that being a republican and furry is a contradiction. You're a member of a party that would see you as an abomination to Jesus for being furry and gay, and would try to take away your rights and have you burned at the stake for being an evil sinner.
That's like being a traitor.

Isaol Garek Maxwell I meet three people of who are representatives from "______". All three are asses. Is it safe to assume _____ is filled with nothing but idiots? Retype that, I'm afraid it didn't make sense. And please fill in the blanks as well. ...It.... Here, I'll rewrite it to some degree. 1. Person A meets persons B, C, & D. 2. Persons B, C, & D are acting as representatives of a group. 3. B, C, & D act rude to person A. 4. Can person A correctly judge this group is comprised solely of people like persons B, C, & D?

A while back, I saw an article about people who grope mascots at amusement parks and other places. The writer of the article assumed these people must be furries.
I wrote a letter to her, acting as a non-representative of furries. I mentioned that furries are people who like anthromorphic characters and sometimes dress up as them. I also said that people who grope people in costume do not represent the furry fandom, and aren't furries, they're perverts and people who don't know boundaries, like sex offenders. She replied and said that she had retracted her article with another one and apologized about her misunderstanding of the furry fandom after several furries had written angry letters to her (probably about fursecution and crap).
The point is, rather than scream predjudice and go on a stupid rant, I acted maturely and gave her an intellectual response, and pretended to be non-furry but just an observer of furry culture. It works wonders.

[-Erik-] Selene Aries Fursuiters use to creep me out, back when I first heard of them. Then I learned that most do it simply as a form of cos-play. There are few that do it as part of some kind of plushy fetish of sexual kink. Some do, yes, but even non-furries portray this behavior. It really is amazing just how many people are against something, or find it disturbing, when they really are ignorant about the subject at hand. Guess that goes in line with the part of human nature where we fear the unknown. This would be the first time I ever ran across someone that found the word, yiff, itself disgusting. More so since it is meant to be a cute saying the alternatives. Maybe you already know this, but the word "yiff", in the beggining, was used as a greet or something. I was used to express you are happy to see somebody.
Or so I've read.
I'm sorry to be a grammar nazi... Beginning. Not beggining. Still, you have to wonder what would've happened if the word yiff never evolved into it's meaning today. Maybe it would've been a common greeting between furs...

Maybe person A should confront person B, C, and D on the side. Person A should take his or her head out of their a** and learn how to communicate. Person A should also gain enough common sense to know that not everyone is alike and that other people from that group are not the same as B, C or D. I honestly don't know who person A, B, C or D are nor do I know the group. That's why I requested that it be retyped.

Isaol I honestly don't know who person A, B, C or D are nor do I know the group. That's why I requested that it be retyped. That was the whole point of keeping it generalized. You weren't supposed to know what the group was or who the people were. The scenario was supposed to bring into light the mistake people make all the time, especially with furries. Generic statements are useful for pointing out things that don't make logical sense. This is outside of just saying "that's a logical fallacy". This was meant to be an easy to understand demonstration of why the reasoning is flawed.

But even being intellectual and furry may not be a good idea, because they'll say "Well, you're biased because you're furry" or think you're lying or covering up for the furry fandom..."You say furries don't go around groping people in public, but why should I believe you as you admit to being a furry and are probably covering up for you and your buddies actions."

I would, but I don't think I want to turn the US into another Soviet Russia.
Plus the US military has smart bombs. Not much a pitchfork can do against those.
