Just the fact alone that I took a job from their ministry, but turned down the request from ours, says a lot right there." Evelyn chuckled lightly, and then even harder when Lucivar told her about the mummy outbreak. "Priceless! I wish I had been there for that, but I was probably already back in Northern London by then." Eve's eyes were visibly out of focus as she recalled her time in Egypt. Until now, it had been the best experience of her life. She was hoping, however, that teaching at Hogwarts would prove to be an adventure of its own.

"Married that is?" He inspected her, a little disappointed. "Well, I'm not surprised that you are, you're incredibly gorgeous." He tried to give her a flattering grin. "Maybe some time later we could discuss music and art together and set up something nice to send your husband?" He didn't really care if she was married, he'd try and at least flirt with her while he could. "I see." He smirked and then smiled at her. "Meet at the hogs head on a day off?" He tried to charm her a little.

Lucivar closed his eyes wistfully. "I'm intending to go back there for the break. Perhaps you'd like to come?" he frowned lightly. "Did you see the French Ministry?" He shivered. "So much damn crystal. I nearly broke a doorhandle because it was crystal."

Florence laughed at his compliment. So many people told her that, and yet she never truly believed them. Lack of confidence, probably.
"Yes, that'd be nice.", she nodded with a gentle smile traced on her lips, "And I wanted to visit a friend of mine in Hogsmeade anyway." she shrugged as she took a sip of water in silence. She'd love to surprise Buffy. She was Tristan's best friend back in Hogwarts, and she met her twice, and they became very close friends.

Mira nodded, still watching the Sorting Ceremony. "Yeah, I'm was a 'puff." She turned to Maurice and gave him an amiable smile. "It was nice having a Common Room by the kitchens." She took a sip of her Gillywater and sighed dreamily, her mind off in some memory.

Evelyn was hit with a rush of excitement as Lucivar spoke of going back to Egypt during break. "I would absolutely love to take you up on your offer. I couldn't turn down a chance such as that, what with all the beauty I already know of in Egypt, could anyone blame me?" She told him, adding with a shudder. "I've never visited the ministry in France. Is it that appalling?" Eve asked as she notice the look that crossed his face.

"Yes, well then, we can take care of that for sure, I'll be willing to pay for it all." He smiled at her and then slowly took a sip of his water after finishing his meal. "I promise that I'll bring samples of my finest flowers." He grinned a little. "And I'll make sure that they are nice and fresh and under a spell to keep them that way for generations, after all, the best flowers are beautiful and young, just like you."

Cassandra considered. If she couldn't get hold of any of the bacteria that Grey had been talking about, perhaps she could use Bulbadox juice...nasty boils for the naughty nurse, and if that didn't send the message, drinking it certainly would...

Cassandra entertained herself momentarily with images of Isis writhing on the floor in pain, and dying.

It made her smile to think of that. Ordinarily, perhaps, she wasn't quite so bloodthirsty, but this was Icarus she was defending.

Satisfied with her plan, she returned to watching the Sorting.

He gave a soft smile. "Yeah." He just watched her and then looked ahead. He saw Cassandra's predatory glare and then flicked his fingers before scribbling again on his notepad.
"If you are that angry at those two why not do something about it?" He then sealed it and charmed it to travel over to Cassandra, hopefully she'd remember his terrible handwriting.

Anya flicked her head in Cassandra's direction, catching her train of thought and frowned significantly. She decided she would have to approach the Matron and inform her of the malice directed at her by the Librarian. For now, however, she had duties as Head of House to complete. Rising from her chair, she smiled to those around her. "Well, I better be off to escort the new Ravenclaws to their common room. See you all in the morning," she said in a sing-song manner and walked towards the Ravenclaw Table.
