Peta smiled softly making sure to wet all his hair then put him back on the ledge washing his hair and tail carefully. She knew how sensitive little neko tails were and didn't want to hurt the little boy Then once the conditioner was in she showed him how to wash himself with the soap.

Loki jumped a little when Peta started washing his tail and twisted in his position on the ledge, trying to see what was going on. He even gave a curious little mew. He purred under the conditioner, enjoying it a lot before blinking as Peta showed him how to wash with the soap. He tried, but the soap kept slipping out of his hands.

Peta gave a small giggle and put the soap in a wash cloth then gave him the wash cloth. "Try like this." She said with great encouragement. While he was busy figuring it out she washed her hair and tail then used a different washer on her face and body. She'd wait until he had finished having fun before started to rinse him off.

Loki blinked and then smiled when he was finally able to hold the soap. Sure, it was with a washcloth, but he was holding it! He started when she started to rinse him off, not quite expecting it, and not still not used to the water hitting him and it not being a bad thing. "All done?" he asked. He hadn't completely hated the shower, but he still didn't want to be under the water anymore.

"Just about sweetie we have to make sure to rinse properly or you'll get itchy...there all done." She purred herself rinsed thoroughly then turned off the water and wrapped a towel around herself then covered him in a warm fluffy one and into her arms. "There. Wasn't so bad was it?" She teased and kissed his cheek. "And you're still nice and warm."

Loki purred when he was in the towel, rather happy with the ending to the shower. "I like it." he said softly.

"I thought you might." Peta replied with a grin and held him close taking him to her room to get him some clean clothes. "I think we'll have showers until you're old enough to take one on your own. And remember what I showed you with the soap and wash cloth? That's to stop you from tripping on the soap if you drop it. cause if you drop the soap and wash cloth you only need to pick up the cloth and not the soap." She purred. Yes she wasn't going to pester Jack about another baby today. Loki had reignited the fire of motherhood in her.

Loki nodded. "Okay." he said before shaking his head, sending small droplets of water flying out. "TV now?" he asked, clearly very excited about that.

Once she dressed him Peta brushed out his hair and tail getting them all nice and fluffy. "Yes TV now." She giggled guiding him toward the living room where the TV was fizzling and spluttering. "Oh dear...looks like it's broken."

Loki grinned. "Cool." he muttered, wanting to see more. He went over to the TV, looking at the wires among other things. "Neat." he muttered as he tried to figure out what was causing it to be broken.

One of the older males crouched next to Loki with a tool box. Scars riddled his arms seeming to disappear under his shirt. "Hmm. What do you think could be making this thing be broken?" The grey male purred unplugging the thing first so Loki wouldn't get hurt.

Loki pointed at some exposed wires. "Wires were sparking." he said, looking up at the grey male. He then saw a screwdriver in the tool box and grabbed it, using it to loosen a few screws trying to take apart the TV. Some habits died hard.

The male gave a deep laugh and let the boy do what he wished. "Well then why don't you have some fun while we find some way to amuse ourselves while we wait for our handy man to finish his work?" Peta at this point had disappeared to go convince her husband about another baby and Jason had come down from breakfast to see what all the fuss was about. Seamus just sat in the corner watching everything as normal. He didn't like outside his blanket much.

Heather had finished her breakfast and gone back up to bed to finish sleeping, purring as she curled up under the covers.

Loki was ecstatic that no one was stopping him or telling him not to do what he's doing. He was so happy! He took the TV apart carefully, putting individual pieces down on the floor in their own little spots. His tail was twitching as he held the screwdriver in his mouth while he used a different tool to get further into the TV.

Jason, as well as every other neko in the living room was watching Loki in case he got hurt. No one was going to stop him because he seemed to love the job. But they wanted to make sure he was safe. Other neko children were able to do things like this on their own mainly because they were older. So the adults kept close eye on Loki. mainly pretending to be doing something else though.
