Blizzard120 "Well, looks like its back to unfamiliar territory again! Weavile! Night Slash!" Weavile rushed off towards the Abomasnow with great speed, its claws exuding a dark aura which trailed behind the Pokemon. The Night Slash would strike true, Weavile flying on by and cutting off a chunk of Abomasnow's leaves, obviously dealing some damage. That said, Abomasnow only moaned, didn't even stagger, obviously even its defenses were boosted. "Wood Hammer." Wulfric commanded right as Abomasnow was hit. With a roar, Abomasnow would turn around and thrust downward both of its massive arms, said arms having grown in size and density from the infusion of Grass chi. Abomasnow was planning to flatten the tiny Dark type with the might of a falling tree.

SubonicXP The Night Slash would strike true, Weavile flying on by and cutting off a chunk of Abomasnow's leaves, obviously dealing some damage. That said, Abomasnow only moaned, didn't even stagger, obviously even its defenses were boosted. "Wood Hammer." Wulfric commanded right as Abomasnow was hit. With a roar, Abomasnow would turn around and thrust downward both of its massive arms, said arms having grown in size and density from the infusion of Grass chi. Abomasnow was planning to flatten the tiny Dark type with the might of a falling tree. "Weavile! Double Team!" Weavile broke up into illusive copies as the Wood Hammer was dropped upon him. Unfortunately, it was just another underestimation on just how much power this Abomasnow was now packing, it not only put off the illusions, but just the sheer concussive force from the attack coming down blew Weavile back some. This Abomasnow was packing a lot more force, force that could even rival Legendary Pokemon at this rate. I had to get Weavile in to attack...the Abomasnow appears to still be its general slow self, but my God, the power and the bulk it got from whatever...transformation...this may be is practically staggering. If it could blow Weavile back by just sheer concussive force, this was not going to be pretty by any means...

Blizzard120 "Weavile! Double Team!" Weavile broke up into illusive copies as the Wood Hammer was dropped upon him. Unfortunately, it was just another underestimation on just how much power this Abomasnow was now packing, it not only put off the illusions, but just the sheer concussive force from the attack coming down blew Weavile back some. "Geez, that wasn't even a direct hit!" I said. Weavile once again dug his claws to stop himself on the ice then got back into his ready position. This wasn't good at all. This Abomasnow was packing a lot more force, force that could even rival Legendary Pokemon at this rate. I had to get Weavile in to attack...the Abomasnow appears to still be its general slow self, but my God, the power and the bulk it got from whatever...transformation...this may be is practically staggering. SubonicXP "If you won't attack my strange friend, I will. Grass Knot, Abomasnow." Wulfric bellowed. Abomasnow would slam its fist into the battlefield, a green energy rushing from its body into the ground. The field would react to the blow with the ice shattering and long tendrils of grass shooting up out of it, threatening to wrap themselves around Weavile and bind him. In the mean time, something was forming above Abomasnow's 'back branches', two green orbs of energy. This couldn't be good. "Not happening! Weavile! Metal Claw!" I shouted. As the Grass Knot started to tear its way around and threatened to ensnare the Weavile, Weavile's claws lit up with a silvery sheen. The Weavile claws his way out and rushes for the Abomasnow. "VILE!"

The Weavile claws his way out and rushes for the Abomasnow. "VILE!" The grass was ripped apart and Abomasnow grunted in pain as he was slashed again by the powerful Steel move, more of its leafy body coming off. It was at that time that the green orbs above Abomasnow's branches stopped growing and seemed to have become more condensed. "You fight bravely, always facing the storm head on. Now here comes the brunt of the storm, Seed Bomb." Wulfric called out from his hidden location somewhere in this blowing snow. The two green orbs of energy would then shoot up into the air upon command by Abomasnow's roar. Said orbs would soon come back towards the ground, mainly Weavile. Once they got anywhere close to the Dark type they would explode, just like bombs, sending out shock waves of grass chi. The explosions hurt to even hear.

I saw the attack coming when the Grass Knot was trying to ensnare Weavile. I was hoping that the attack would have been strong enough to at least hinder the charge. This new found power of Abomasnow's, though, is making it weather Weavile's stronger blows. Worse still is despite Weavile's speed, it couldn't outrun the blast of the Seed Bombs that were dropped. "Weavile!" I shouted out. Weavile got blasted off, eventually hitting the ground. It looked as if the Weavile was out for sure, but he was slowly, but surely getting back up. As he pushed, his ears were practically ringing; ringing that, for a moment, was drowning out my call outs of concern to him. He was sore practically all over. He was winded. The constant running to avert whatever attacks he could, the massive clawing away at the massive tree, and the eventual taking the Seed Bomb blast was taking a heavy number to him. "Weavile! Weavile! Can you keep going!?" "Vile." Weavile called back. It took him a second to answer back, but he was ready. Call it stubborness or tenacity, but regardless of whatever he had left, it was probably only going to be for one last hurrah. I quickly thought as fast as I could, trying to figure out how to get the one-up on this Abomasnow in what was essentially a last stand. I might have something... "Alright then..." I said. "Weavile! Taunt!" Weavile was back up right, holding his composure and gave a wave of a claw. "Wea-vile." The Weavile spoke to Abomasnow as if to say 'Give me your best shot'.

Wulfric was slightly stunned by this decision to provoke Mega Abomasnow, and yet he found it amusing. He would say nothing though, he knew it would be no good as his Pokemon quickly succumbed to the Taunt.
With a mighty roar, Abomasnow would unleash a massive flurry of leaves, just like it did earlier. The storm of sharp leaves would rush towards Weavile, almost completely blocking the view behind it. After several seconds of leaves flying at it in all directions, something different would happen. The leaves in the air would freeze and those on the ground would rise up. Weavile would be given barely any type to think about what was going to happen as they took on a rainbow aura and began to fly towards Weavile again, hunting it down to make sure they get their pry.

A Magical Leaf attack. It had to be. "Weavile! Go!" I shouted. He wanted to play this game? I was going to play. Weavile rushed forward towards the Mega Abomasnow, past the leaves, but the leaves were on hot pursuit and were set to hit their mark at any second as Weavile made a total mad dash towards the Abomasnow. "Down!" I shouted. Weavile did a hard dive, sliding on what patches of ice left over, namely the ones set under the Abomasnow, sliding right by under it. Weavile quickly soon after stopped his momentum with his claws on the ground once again in order to quickly get back up, hopefully leaving the Magical Leaf attack getting returned to sender.

The Magical Leaf would indeed come right back to its point of origin, slicing up the Mega Pokemon pretty good. Finally, signs of exhaustion were showing as the massive Pokemon began to pant, the battle beginning to get to it but alas it was still standing and ready for more.
"It would appear this ends soon, strange one. Wood Hammer." Wulfric said.
With the Weavile near, the Abomasnow planned on ending this here now. The might beast slammed its tree trunk arms down at the Dark type, threatening to squash it. No, wait, it wasn't aiming directly at the Weavile but its sides, but why?
A cracking sound was heard right after connecting with the field, the ground beneath Weavile quickly giving away after all the abuse it had already taken, sending the Pokemon plummeting into the river below. To make matters worse, the Grass Knot from earlier was still lying in wait in the water, attempting to pull Weavile under.

Abomasnow roared in pain, the hit was devastating to it as it crippled over, holding its self up with one arm as it looked like it was going to faint. As the vine-like grass pulled at Weavile, a faint green glow surrounded Abomasnow. The Mega Pokemon was sucking the life out of Weavile, using this to barely hang in there. At this point it was now a battle of wills. "That's enough." Wulfric called out as he recalled Abomasnow, seeing that his Pokemon was going to stop at nothing to win, even if it meant drowning Weavile and taking away what little strength it had to stay afloat. "We'll call that a win for you, my strange friend." Wulfric said with a laugh as the snow ceased to blow.

Wulfric called out as he recalled Abomasnow, seeing that his Pokemon was going to stop at nothing to win, even if it meant drowning Weavile and taking away what little strength it had to stay afloat. "We'll call that a win for you, my strange friend." Wulfric said with a laugh as the snow ceased to blow. The Abomasnow may be recalling, but Weavile was trying to struggle to keep his head afloat only to quickly lose that battle. I quickly rushed over and dove, driving my arm down into the waters and snatching up Weavile. Weavile started to cough up some water, breathing heavily. The poor guy... "Vile..." It moaned. "It's okay..." I said, holding the Weavile close. "It's okay. You fought real hard today. You did great." It would go without a reply, just a notion to get his head real comfortable against my chest. This Pokemon was exhausted. "This was probably one of the toughest fights Weavile ever had to go through." I said. "What...was that?"

"What was what?" Wulfric asked as he approached Blizzard, stepping around the hole in the field, mumbling something about needing to pay them a hefty sum. "You mean my Abomasnow? He Mega Evolved. You see, there is an old form of evolution discovered here in Kalos called Mega Evolution. Before it was a closely guarded secret only for the noble and the elite but as time went on the secret spread. Pokemon can evolve, we all know this. However, some stop evolving naturally. Mega Evolving allows certain Pokemon exceed their natural limits, to bring out their latent power to the fullest, temporarily. Not all Pokemon can Mega Evolve however, and even then you need a Mega Stone that specifically connects with a certain Pokemon, which can be near impossible." Wulfric explained.
"However, if you can master Mega Evolution, as you saw, the sky is the limit. Some say Mega Evolved Pokemon can rival legendary Pokemon in power, I'm not sure about that but they are powerful." Wulfric said with a laugh. "Speaking of, your Gardevoir? She has yet to realize her true potential...if you know what I mean." He winked.

Rivaling Legendaries, though? Coming from someone who dealt with a few, not really, but they could come pretty close considering what I just dealt with. I don't recall a time where Weavile was battered so badly. It was...unnerving to think that a Pokemon could go even beyond that, and what it could mean for the likes of me, the team, let alone the gym should I ever get back there. Sure I knew that they were capable of remarkable things, and some are willing to push the limits of their capabilities like my Weavile...but the way Wulfric talked, this whole Mega Evolution thing is just turning the dial all the way up to 11 in one swift, hard twist. Furthermore, what really got me is the next thing that Wulfric said. "Telia? Could...Mega Evolve?" Mind...blown...

If you wish to learn more about Mega Evolution, perhaps even unlock your Pokemon's hidden power as well, then you should visit the Tower of Mastery. Shalour City is where you will find it." Wulfric explained.
