The Rock Tomb would hit, causing the fire starter to growl in pain but it would not keep it down for long. "Think that can stop us!? Go all the way...Flare Blitz!" His trainer ordered. Immediately Typhlosion erupted into a mass of flames, getting down on all fours and then rushing to ram into the Mawile. The only thing that slowed it down momentarily was the rock that had fallen on his back right left, struggling for a second to free the foot before charging.
-----
The bright and sudden flash of light would dazzle the Druddigon, its trainer looking away at the last second to save her from the same fate. "I admire your fighting spirit lad, it will take you very far. Druddigon, Outrage." She commanded.
"Drud!" With a fierce roar the Druddigon would gain an aura of dragonic energy. The beast would slam its tail on the ground once and with its wings propel its self off the ground and send it on a collision course with Xatu, intending to pummel it into the ground.
(1 the move hits and if 2 Druddigon is too confused and flies right off the stage, missing.)
-----
"Quag..." The Quagsire yawned again before waddling over to a nearby pond and splash into it face first, remaining in that position as he floated away. And so for a good five minutes everyone would stand there and watch both Pokemon just nap.
"Er...it looks like neither Pokemon is willing or able to battle." The ref said, confused at the whole scene. "Since Amaranth has one Pokemon she wins by default. Victory to Amaranth!" The ref announced.
"...nothing I can say but much shame on me." Her opponent said in her thick accent, recalling her Pokemon before walking away.
"Berries for your Pokemon." The ref said as he presented Amaranth with another basket of berries.
-----
"Hyper Voice!" The woman ordered as soon as the Slam missed. Furret would have just enough time for its feet to hit the ground before Togekiss rammed into it with Extremespeed. While being carried away the Furret would emit a horrible and incredibly loud screech that even seemed to make its trainer want to cover her ears.

"That wasn't really shameful..." Amaranth spoke up, but by the time she did, her opponent had walked away. She thought it was decent apart from her opponent seeming really cautious, but then, she couldn't say she knew her too well. She wasn't one who could easily tell how a person was from how they battled, but she could tell that she probably cared a lot for her Pokemon. Hopefully.
Nodding in thanks for the berries, though, she recalled Breeze to get her back onto the balcony, finally managing to wake her up after letting her back out and letting her Pokemon have their fill of berries. Surprisingly enough, quite a few were left in the basket, ensuring there'd be plenty for anyone else. Making a mental note to try and get a better feel for the next opponent, she recalled her Pokemon and readied herself.

(1 the move hits and if 2 Druddigon is too confused and flies right off the stage, missing.) "Xatu!" Tristen shouted. Unfortunately, the mighty Outrage attack, despite attempts to throw it off course, managed to land its mark upon the bird. The damage was just too much. "...oh Xatu..." Tristen felt bad now. Xatu did all of this just so they could win this match. He felt guilty. "I'm sorry. Return, okay?" That said, this battle wasn't over. He was down two to one, having to trying to finish off a Druddigon and a Ditto with only Galvantula and wasn't quite sure as to how to do it. He couldn't let this end on a whimper like this, though. He really owed Xatu so much now. "Galvantula! Go!" Tristen shouted, tossing out the Pokeball, revealing the electric spider, ready for battle. With the Galvantula out, even if he shuts out Druddigon, he didn't want to attack with a lot of moves; that would just show the veteran what this thing is capable of, provided that she didn't see much of the prior fights of what Galvantula could do. It actually had him worried on how this was going to turn out. He didn't have much to go on. Only a couple of attacks could actually flat out damage the dragon, namely his Bug type attacks. Anything else would probably essentially be scratch damage, not helping his cause. His hand was forced. "Galvantula! Use Signal Beam!" Tristen shouted. The Galvantula reared back and fired what looked like a two-tone beam, fired what looked to be a helix that went for the dragon.

The Typhlosion wasn't as badly damaged as would have been expected from a Rock Tomb. At least, before it started its charge through the debris field that Lacuna had kicked up. As the Typhlosion began to charge over the small rock chunks, they began to come to life and physically hurl themselves at the Fire type. Evidently, someone hadn't figured out what use kicking up a ton for rock without it being used for the attack. Otherwise, the Stealth Rock might have been avoided. "Huh, didn't think you would actually charge across that debris field." Leslie pondered out loud, watching as Lacuna turned around and aimed her large mouth at the Typhlosion. The jaw would wrench itself open and have its teeth began to glow with a sinister power as the Crunch set itself for when the Typhlosion impacted hopefully chomping down on the thing before the flames became too harsh from the Flare Blitz. Things were beginning to get hairy.

Kaya was a bit more susceptible to that Hyper Voice than his opponent or his own Pokemon. When the high decibel sound waves struck his steel helm, they began to rattle it while bouncing around inside. Eventually, his own brain began to ache within his skull.
While Kaya was struggling to reign in the pain in his head, Anael was doing similarly. She wasn't doing as well though. Fighting the pain in her ears from the point-blank shrieking, she veered off course, throwing Furret off of herself before crashing into the floor. In the effort of gaining air against, after first regaining her composure, she released a Fairy Wind along the floor, a glittering, pink, dust-filled whirlwind spun along the floor just above ground-level, hopefully whipping the Normal-type about while she prepared another attack.

"Next up is Jayden of Castelia City!" The ref called out, a dark skinned man with dreads in his hair then took to the balcony. "Yo girl, ya'll ready for a good 'un!?" He asked in a voice that was way too excited for this place, even the ref flinched at his perkiness, tone it down a bit. "I knows the usual routine so I'll be tossin' it out and gettin' thangs started, ya know?" He laughed, throwing a ball down to the field below and releasing a Scrafty.
Stereotypes all over the place in this facility~
-----
The Signal Beam blasted the Druddigon in the chest, sending it back growling and snarling at the Galvantula. Thanks to the rage clouding its mind the dragon was unable to do little more than rampage, rushing towards the spider to pummel it as well.
(Again. 1 it hits and 2 he is too confused.)
-----
The Typhlosion was snapped up in the Mawile's jaws and it would struggle for a good long while. However the pain from the rocks, the Crunch, and how much it overexerted its self with Flare Blitz the Typhlosion was just unable to keep it up.
The man would recall his Pokemon and pound a fist against his head in anger, his face becoming bright red before he walked off.
"Another marvelous win, darling!" The host cheered for Leslie, the crowd clapping for her. "So, what next doll?" She asked as she handed Leslie a Full Restore.
-----
And the Fairy Wind would succeed in sweeping the Furret into the air and then dumping it back on the ground, the furry critter out cold.
The girl said nothing, she just returned her Pokemon with a literally eye twitch and tossed out another, a Gardevoir. "Psychic!" She ordered with a shout, the Pokemon unleashing an invisible wave of energy against the Togekiss.

Lacuna would fall over and flail a little, attempting to find her feet as Leslie applied the Full Restore. "Okay then. Why don't we end on something a little less...suicidal? Bring me a Water type." Leslie commanded, examining the crowd for the moment. Hmm, what was next?

Kaya hoped that Anael would be able to make it through this but with that new entrant making it's appearance, he called an attack. "Air Cutter!" Anael blew her blades across the battlefield but Gardevoir's Psychic counterattack was just too strong. It caught the blades up in it and blasted them back at the Togekiss.
Hit by the force of her opponent's attack as well as her own, she fell to the ground her eyes hazy as she fainted. "You fought well, my little sprite." The hybrid trainer said with a smile as he recalled her to her ball. "It all rides on you, my shield." He said to the Luxury Ball on his waist pulling it free after clipping Anael's Ball to his belt beside it.
"Afreda, Light Screen!" He shouted as he released his Carbink. Rather than trying to attack, she erected a wall of light between herself and Gardevoir, attempting to fortify herself for the ongoing fight.

This guy sounded like what would happen if Toren had a kid, if what she heard about someone's child being ten times worse than their parent was true. At least he wasn't hitting on her, or else he might've actually gotten her to speak a bit more. Not for good reasons, however. Deciding to stick to her guns, she sent out Kangaskhan to start... whom of which gave a confused glance to the Scrafty before her.

The confusion wasn't slowing this thing down. In fact, it was just all the more fuel. Granted at this point, no one was safe from this dragon's wrath. "Galvantula! Watch out!" the boy cried out. The Galvantula tried to back away all it could, but the rampage hit home, smashing away the spider across the field. The Galvantula got back on its feet, shaking its head a bit, trying to remain steady against this rampaging Dragon. "Galvantula! Just hang on! Use another Signal Beam!" It was the best that Tristen could do at this point. Things like Giga Drain and Discharge would do next to nothing to this dragon, the boy figured. The spider trained his sights back on the dragon and fired yet another Signal beam to try to put it down.

"A Water type! Anyone have a Water type?" The host called out as she observed the crowd. For a good long while no one showed up, which was weird since the Water type was easily the most populace. Eventually someone would take the stage, a beautiful, young, and shy girl with long red hair. She couldn't be no more than fifteen but she had the chest of a woman.
"I'll battle...I guess...I have a Water type..." She said while looking down at the ground.
"Oh, okay miss pretty. Release your Pokemon." The host smiled. The girl did as she was told and did not throw a ball out but pressed the button on the front and released a Clamperl, the shellfish closed tight.
-----
As the Carbink appeared the woman would give off another command without a second thought. "Hypnosis." She said with a sinister grin, her Pokemon unleashing a wave of hypnotic energy at the Carbink.
-----
"Scraft!" Shouted the Scrafty as the Kangashkan appeared. Fortunately for Amaranth's opponent Scrafty were naturally very territorial so when it saw another Pokemon in front of it it's first reaction was to lung forward knee first, the Pokemon executing a Jump Kick...or a Jump Knee Kick, whatever.
-----
Perhaps fate was finally favoring Tristen as the the second Signal Beam smacked the rampaging beast right in the face, causing it to stumble and miss its target. The beam had the funny way of snapping the Pokemon out of its rage but the sudden change caused it to become even more confuse, the Pokemon literally slashing its self in the face as it appeared to be trying to get to the spider. The dragon would keep stumbling around until it went over the edge of the field, smacking into the ground face first.
"Well then, that's the end of that." The veteran said with a laugh as she recalled her Pokemon. "I suppose it's back to the beginning for me, huh?" She smiled, throwing out her last, and first, Pokeball.
"Ditto!" The Pokemon chimed once before it made a new sound. "Galvantula!" It hissed. "Ditto, Signal Beam." The woman commanded, the spider firing off its own Signal Beam at its twin.

Confused the Kangaskhan was, but oblivious was something that usually wasn't in her vocabulary. Instead of trying to attack, she simply stepped out of the way, looking at Scrafty in a way that suggested she was wondering if that was the best of ideas when it was seen coming.
Even Amaranth wasn't really sure what to make of it, though it was something she'd note for future reference. The knowledge could have its uses.

The Scrafty would not stop there as it landed, spun around, and then slid toward the Kangaskhan, leg extended outward as it executed a Low Kick.
-----
The woman cackled as she watched the Pokemon fall asleep and she would not allow the opportunity pass her by to do some damage. "Dream Eater." She smirked, her Gardevoir summoning forth Afreda's dreams in the form of a pink smoke which she would call to her and inhale its delicious aroma.

Leslie stared her opponent and Pokemon for a moment, visibly looking between the two. "Umm. Welp, too late to start pitying my opponents now. Play Rough!" Leslie commanded, her focus directed to the chest on her opponent. She swore those things had gravitational pull from how big they were. Oh well, her Mawile was focused at least. It charged forward, large mouth glowing pink as it swung to beat the hell out of the Water type.
