Personality
Berith almost doesn't seem to belong in her family if family ties were based purely off of personality. She is a bright, bubbly light in a family that is all too serious and filled with gloom, but she loves her family dearly. Berith is playful, loves to joke and tease, and has a constant optimistic outlook on life. In a way, Berith is the glue to her broken family, chattering a mile-a-minute when silence hangs to heavy. She marches to her own drum, and her very whimsical personality is incredibly endearing, making even the hardest of hearts melt and sway to protect her.
Likes and Dislikes
Likes: exploring, playing around, cuddles, collecting feathers, day dreaming, grumps with a soft spot in their heart
Dislikes: arguing, close-mindedness, intimidation, sticks-in-the-mud

History
Berith grew up with her mother, father, and brother, travelling due to her parents profession as healers of the sick and wounded. She was young when her family separated. Her brother suffered an accident and Samael and Naamah made the decision that Naamah would stay behind to heal and tend to Agares' injuries while Samael took Berith to continue on and aid the herd that had seeked out their help.
Berith's recollection of the incident is hazy at best, it had happened when she was so young, but things changed with the separation of her parents. She strove to make her father happy, be a light to him in a world that seemed dark, though boredom was abundant without a playmate. The herd they were helping was suffering from Malaria, a disease that was none too gentle and killed many, and Berith had wandered off on her own to alleviate the boredom that came with being so young. She played in a puddle she shouldn't have, a stagnant pool of water that had seemed so cooling on such a hot day was actually one that would curse her to the same sickness of the herd they were helping.
Her father went to great efforts to alleviate the sickness, treat it, and mend her as she suffered from the painful symptoms. Berith learned how to manage her illness, spending some days resting and eating herbs that helped her through the worst of her symptoms as they reoccurred. She met her faithful familiar Azazel during this period of her life and the grumpy cockatiel continues to watch over her and act like a second father now that she's old enough to wander off on her own from time-to-time.
