As soon as the boat docked in Tosach Town. Hikaru got off and started wandering aimlessly as he had plenty of time before he would be needing to go to the lab and figure he would see the sights since he wouldn't have much time in this town. All the windmills and the houses with colorful roofs was unique look for the town. Though all the windmills reminded him one of the towns Hikaru used to live in. He didn't have too many clear old memories of the place. Though he did remember the windmill from the lab. Seeing a small cafe he enter and sample what the town might have to offer. After getting the cafe "famed" berry mint tea Hikaru wander around a bit till he found a arcade and his gaming habits kicked in a bit. Hikaru quickly lost track of time playing in there and before he knew it. It was way past the time he was supposed to head to the lab. Dragging himself outside and towards were the lab was supposed to be. Though Hikaru was hopeful he had miss out on all the new trainers and can just get everything ready without dealing with the rookies wanting to travel together and all. He was sure they would slow him down to a crawl and scare most of the pokemon away making hard to catch anything worthwhile. He drag his feet a bit hoping they would all be gone so he wouldn't have deal with other and just travel on his own.
Reaching the lab he saw two people in the early 20's, one had blue hair, torn blue jeans, a gray coat with a black shirt. The other was another was wearing glasses and white coat with a pink egg pouch. Hikaru figured they might be aides or maybe siblings of the rookie trainers. Since most trainers start off in their preteens, though some people delay a few years. Who would wait that long? Hikaru figured he get some info out of them before heading out. "Hey, is the lab still open?" Hikaru asked. Hoping that he wasn't too late, he rather not have to wait a day to start up. He curse his weakness of games as he hope to hear some good news. Rather than have to spend the night in town and wait for the lab to open back up.

Mio definitely wasn't the travelling kind of person. Just reading the map was just making her blood pressure rise. She had no clue why her grandparents wanted her to go on some "amazing journey" so late. Like... wouldn't it have been better if she was like a decade younger? She felt... too old to be out and about like this. Giving a bit of a grumbled sigh, the woman tucked the forsaken map back into her bag and noticed that Doja was a bit on alert. The chunky Miltank huffed and puffed as she stared down a tall individual with glasses that was holding... an egg? Was that all the pokemon they had on them? While Doja was puffing herself up to look big and bad to the stranger, Axel on the other hand sorta just stood back. Mio wouldn't lie, he was a bit of a shy pokemon, but it wasn't like she could force him to interact with someone. Even in his full form, Axel was a big baby. " Calm your butt down... " Mio said as she grabbed a hold of her Miltank and pulled her into her arms. Emerald eyes glanced over at the new person with a raised brow. " You get a kick out of starin', four-eyes? " It was a bit of a rude greeting, but that's what he got for making Doja all alert.
Before she could say anything else, another voice caught her attention. Turning her head to the source, Mio only found a kid who was walking up towards the lab. " Sorry, kid. It's locked up tight. You're late. " Tch, as if she wasn't late herself. Now what? Maybe it would be best to find something to eat and then a place to stay the night? It was a bit of a long journey to get back to Muir City, so she was kinda just stuck here for the moment.

His head cocked to the side a bit. He was perplexed. It was natural. What had he done to this woman. He had no clue. "Locked, huh?" Even though that one comment wasn't direction at him rather the new target. His egg seemed to be more active than normal. "I think my egg took offense for me? You should apologize. Also I'm sorry for staring. I didn't expect to find you here and I didn't know what to say. Not to mention I just sort of went with the flow of coming here. I thought it was a great idea and now I'm supposed to meet with these people and go on an adventure. When all I have is an egg for pokemon. I'm scared but I've come too far to go back home now." Rain was ranting. It was one of those things that he did when he got nervous. Enter pretty girl equates to Rain making a fool out of himself.
He cleared his throat quite loudly. "Um. So I'm guessing besides me that's never gone on a pokemon adventure I'd it that this kid is in the same boat as me." Rain was petting his egg to try to get it to calm down. "You have quite the temper little one. It's okay. No one's going to hurt you." He smiled while being absorbed into the egg and then looked up. He was still petting the egg but then looked embarrassed. "I'm Rain. Nice to meet you guys. So if we can't meet the professor. I guess I can't get a pokemon." He looked at the two pokemon that the lady had with her. "You're pokemon look strong. Could you help me catch a pokemon?" He asked her. "I'll grovel at your feet if I need to." It was a shameless comment but he didn't care. He wanted to explore. It didn't matter if it just so happened to be a pretty lady who helped him in his exploration or ditched him the first chance she got. He couldn't look at things bad. He had to stay positive.

Hikaru felt a little down hearing that he was late and the lab was closed. Though if it was locked up why are they still there. Since "Rawst Berry" didn't seem like she was a trainer dispite her two pokemon. As she didn't even look like she wanted to be there. She had this "let's get this over with" look to her, as well as a annoyed look from "Pokenanny" over there. So if it's closed what are these two doing here? They didn't look like they were together let alone know each other from the sound of her voice. Her Miltank seem like the over protective type while the Toxtricity was a bit shy.
Before Hikaru could ask what they were doing here Rain introduce himself to them and guess that they were all going to be traveling together? Hikaru was annoyed when he heard Rain suggest that. The guy looked like he wasn't active, nor looked like he even study up on anything. Let alone on how train or battle pokemon. Hikaru wasn't up for being a teacher to someone who looks twice his age. He had his own journey to go on, he doesn't have time to teach the basic to him. "Aren't you a little old to just be starting out as a trainer, and you have no pokemon on hand? Do you even know how to train and battle? Or are you just planning on picking it up as you go along, if so would suggest you head back and brush up and study beforehand. This isn't a game that you can play halfass, you need to know what you're doing for the sake of your pokemon and maybe for the sake of the pokemon rangers so they don't have to save you all the time." Hikaru tells Rain, he looks like he had no real idea of what he was doing and was treating this like a summer camp or "first day of school."

Was she hearing this dude correctly? She owed the egg an apology?! What kind of outrageous idea was that? " I don't owe s**t to an egg, dude. You probably shoulda been a lil wiser and had, ya know, pokemon that's already out of it's damn egg shell. " Before she could even add anything else, in the same breath, Rain had the audacity to ask her to catch some pokemon for himself. Was this a drunken dream she was in? Mio's cheeks puffed up as her face somewhat turned a pinkish hue in annoyance. What was his deal? Just when she was about to blow up, the kid seemed to speak up for her.
Oh s**t. The kid had a lot more spunk and maturity than Mio had originally thought. It was honestly a bit of a nice surprise, plus she couldn't help with how funny it was for a grown man to be called out by a kid. Calming down a bit, the azure woman stood up and ran a hand through her mullet. Welp, she sure was in a damn sticky situation. She knew her grandparents signed her up to be a guide, and she was stuck with a kid wanting to go on an adventure without anyone slowing him down and... a noobie. She sure had her s**t cut out for her. Grumbling to herself, Mio side-eyed Rain for a split second. " Kid's got a point. You shoulda been more prepared... but I can't necessarily have you off on your own. Lord knows you'll get ya self hurt, so I guess we'll have to get you a working pokemon and not an angry egg. "
Mio began to walk off with Doja and Axel following close behind. " I'm gonna grab somethin' to eat. We can all hit the road afterwards. " She said to the two as she fixed her coat a bit to keep a bit warmer against the winter breeze. " I'm Mio. This is Doja and Axel. Don't bother 'em too much and ya'll will get along fine. " The introduction was short and simple, but seeing as the trio would be on the road together, she figured they'd learn more about each other as they traveled. With that said, the brute continued on her way to nearest food place she could find.

Rain's head went down. "I understand I'm dead weight. Nevermind. Forget it all." He walked off with a determined look on his face. Everything they said was true. He had no idea what he was doing. The whole thing was a big slap to his face. He quickly went off. He first went to the port. He had the intention of buying a ticket to somewhere else anywhere else. It's just that there wasn't another boat coming for two weeks. "What am I going to do for two weeks?!" One set back was fine. He looked towards a place to stay in town. After a heated debate with the staff he was politely escorted out of the place. "There's no where to stay for awhile and a boat isn't coming anytime soon." He was out of options. He ate some bread he bought and rubbed his egg. "That lady did say she was willing to help him get a pokemon... Even though I just assumed she would. I should have asked her more politely if she'd help me." Rain slapped his face. "Argh." He looked at the town's exit. It seemed to have a patrol officer there at all times. He decided it was best to sneak out and catch himself a pokemon. He'd show them he was capable. He found a restaurant. He tried to not look at the azure woman he had just talked to earlier as he made his way to the second floor seating. From this point he could escape. He climbed out the window and slipped down the building and over the town's border wall. He had escaped.
He began to venture outside of the town's wall. Starting to see pokemon around the area. "Pokemon are usually in tall grass and such right?" He was burning with passion. His first pokemon was going to be great. He told himself. Just then a rustle in the distance. Out of the blue a Starly appears. He took one of the five pokeballs out of his pocket. He had practiced throwing the pokeball so many times for today. His first pokemon a Starly. With his determination burning wildy he threw the pokeball. A nice hook shot throw. The Starly got placed into the ball. One shake, two shake... It got back out. This Starly didn't look friendly. It pecked the s**t out of the pokeball I just through at it. "What the heck is that?" It cried out finding his location after his vocal thoughts were voiced. "Uh oh." The sky was blanketed by about twenty Starly all at once. "Uh. Um. Bye!" He started running. Although instead of back towards town. He ran in the opposite direction screaming his brains out of course.

Hikaru sigh as Rain walk off. He wasn't sure if he wanted to start on a whim or was the first chance he had to be able to start his journey. Though it wasn't much his problem. As Hikaru felt if you not ready for this. It not the responsibility of others to hold you up and guide you like a parent does a child. If someone wants to help the guy, that's on them. However Hikaru was not going to hold himself back for someone who should started this when he was born or at least in diapers. Hikaru had spent his time before hand studying and training to be a trainer, and when others jump into the deep end without bothering to learn thinking they will just pick it up on the way and have other teach them. It kind of annoy him a bit, like someone who join in a game then asks all the rules in the middle of it rather than learning before jumping in with others. Heading towards the gate with some food he hears some screams sounding familiar as the guard heard and went to head out. Hikaru took this chance and headed out. Though seeing all the Starly flying around he could guess that the rookie figured he could just throw a pokeball and catch them like a game. Though true some pokemon could be captured without fighting, often wanting to be caught, sick or injured. Hikaru guessed he failed and did in front of it's flock, which tend to have ill effects due to the pokemon getting defensive and attack anyone who tries to catch them.
Dispite wanting to ditch him figured he would help. Since Hikaru might be a d**k but wasn't a complete a*****e now. Though he watch from afar and see if the guard needed help. He wasn't going to take the man job from him now, he wasn't getting paid for it now. The guard was easily able to shoo them away and started to redemand Rain for not being a group. Told he was warned before hand. Hikaru didn't knew this place had said requirement. He wouldn't have pick this region if that was the case, no wonder his father let him go. Though to be fair his father did somewhat suggest the place after lowkey admitting he wanted to go to a place his father hadn't been. Though it wasn't the only region suggested, so guess it was bad luck and him not reading all the rules. Though it was one of those fine print rules that unless you read everything you most likely would have missed, well it''s too late and at least his father wasn't around.
Hikaru figured he would save Rain before he found himself in lock up and pop out. "There you are, you should have waited for us. You have no pokemon and have no way of defending yourself or your egg, why are you even out here not like you can catch anything in your state." Hikaru tells Rain trying to diffuse everything before it too late. Then quickly thanks the guard. Though when the guard ask him what he was doing Hikaru simply replied that he heard Rain scream a mile away. So followed the sound of distress. Then tells Rain to come back we need to find our guide before she gets lost and in need of help too. Dragging Rain back towards the town as Hikaru doubted he could keep going without this so called guide which he could only guess was the "Rawst" who was most likely still eating in town.

Welp, looked like Rain had a little outburst since he didn't like hearing the truth. Hmph, oh well. Mio figured he would have to learn the hard way at this point. Besides, it wasn't like she could tell him want to do. 1) She wasn't his mother and 2) that boy was a grown a** man. He was old enough to make his own decisions - as dumb as they may be. Eh, not her problem right now. The only issue she was trying to fix was her growling stomach. In determination, Mio made a beeline towards the nearest cafe and grabbed good seating for her and her babies. She ordered a couple hearty food items until her emerald eyes caught sight of Rain "sneaking" in. Did he really think he was that slick? Whatever. The woman didn't move an inch from her table and only watched as he disappeared to the second floor of the restaurant. Whatever that idiot was doing, she was gonna stay out of it for now.
For a little while, Mio and the babes enjoyed their meal until she noticed a whole flock of Starly flailing around in the sky from the window. " Something tells me that idiot did something stupid... " Well, s**t. Looks like she had to go try and find him before the damn Starly peck him to death. Finishing up her meal, and ordering a hot chocolate to-go, Mio paid for her food and headed out towards the commotion. Reaching near the end of the town, she finally caught up to Hikaru and Rain. With a raised brow and her free hand on her hip, Mio looked over at the egg-lover and sighed. " Did you learn ya lesson about wandering off? ...here. " Pulling out some bandages, the azure woman tossed them over to Rain. She didn't know if he needed any medical attention or not, but she figured he could use them more than she did right now. " Until we somehow find you a pokemon that won't kill you, you probably shouldn't runaway from us. Keep it up and I'll find you a leash. "

"I hate to admit you both were right. But I was raised with a silver spoon in my mouth. But even though that was the case. I haven't been able to raise any pokemon. I'm lucky I got this guy at all. I went through some tough hoops to get snag it. So racing off into the wilderness isn't something new. I've done it before. I procured this egg in a fruitful operation. I like to call grab and run for your dear life. But that's in the past. And so is my most recent failure. I won't go on about my parents not allowing me to have pokemon but I studied and I cared to learn. I just got fed up with the two of you thinking I'm some poor defenseless person. I'll have you know if we encounter something like a dragonite. I'll be the first to get away." He ranted and raved. He had to get his frustrations out some way or the other. "I had thought this was going to be a blast."
He pet his egg again. It had become a habit that he did without thinking about it. Made him wonder how it'd feel once his egg hatched. "Hey when we go to catch a pokemon for me. Can it not be a Starly please. I've grown to fear the little things." He said as some blood started sliding down his face. "What's wrong guys?" He asked starting to feel dizzy. "Why are there four of you suddenly?" As such Rain sat down. "I don't feel so good... I..." His back touched the ground and he passed out. The bandages he was just given falling out of his hand and onto the ground. Apparently the Starly were more vicious than anyone cared to imagine.

After "Rawst" caught up with them. Hikaru quickly was able to thank and get the guard to leave. Figuring rather then looking like a dumbass he see what he can get out of these two on the region that he miss rather than ask questions that seem to be common for the area. Though it looks like he wasn't the only one who didn't know judging by what Rain was saying. Rain went on how he couldn't have a pokemon but study and how he got his egg and sounded like he stole it from a nest, so dumb ideas seem to be his thing. Hikaru sighed thinking on how he was sure he would be dragged down by him. Though he wasn't sure about the so called guide. As she acted like this was just a gig for her and didn't look experienced at all. Though Hikaru wasn't sure, she hadn't said too much and he didn't even know "Rawst's" name.
"You can can carry him right." Hikaru asked the so called guide as Rain passed out in front of them after his little speech. It's not like he could do it. He might be fit, and Rain didn't look overweight or anything but still at least a foot or so taller than him. This isn't like one of those anime where the little guy can lift ten times his weight and all. He wasn't a pokemon now, plus it wasn't his job to keep them safe. That was her job. Though it looks like they wouldn't be able to go too far, dragging or carrying his unconscious body around. Then he grabs the egg Rain was holding in his pouch and holds it so she can move him safely without worrying about the egg. Though Hikaru wouldn't be surprised that she wouldn't care that much about the egg. Though it wasn't the egg's fault it was taken from it's nest for the sake of Rain's wanting to be a trainer.

It was Himeko, with apparent cheerful enthusiasm and optimism, that sprung into action first. Together with her Beautifly, the young trainer took a moment to consider the parts of the tent and the manual, perhaps not noticing her actions had an audience. In fact, all the eyes in the campsite might well have been settled on her, waiting to see her fail or succeed at the task at hand.
On the gym leader’s part, he was concerned the girl’s attempts were leaning more to the former. She had not put the stakes in with much force; a poor combination with the hard, frigid ground and the chill, gusty winds. ”Glaa...” The glaceon at the man’s side let out a soft sound, her ears drooping slightly as she eyed the stakes in the ground. Caius offered a soft hum in reply to his pokemon, denoting that he’d noticed. Odd eyes drifted over towards the other two in the group. Ryouta appeared to be studying the actions while Ari had something of a cruel smirk across her lips.
This volunteer job was going to end up being… interesting.
As expected, the tent was not well secured and soon began to have issues. Ryouta did not take long to offer aid, without saying a word, the boy had sprinted over to apply pressure to a loosening stake. ”Don’t be afraid to put your weight on it.” Caius offered in his cool, unaffected tone. The man considered that it would be good for the children to get practice on their own without him doing too much for them, but if Himeko and Ryouta struggled much longer, he’d step in to help them secure the tent. Regardless of having to do that or not, he would speak to the the group afterwards about ways to tell that their tent was well secured, a glance to Ari having invited her in to listen while he’d approached Himeko’s tent in order to showcase what he said.
That had not been the last of the tent drama.
While setting up his own and checking that Ari’s was pitched well, it seemed too little attention had gone to the most troublesome pokemon in the group. The little Aron, Kenshi, had taken it upon itself to devour many of the metal pieces for Ryouta’s tent, leaving it not even remotely functional. Caius had not anticipated having to share his tent, but he didn’t hesitate to tell the boy to stay there anyway. The gym leader had a rather expensive tent that was shockingly lightweight to carry despite its comfortable size, so fitting another person inside would not be too cramped.
Before sleeping, however, it would be time to eat. Caius arranged food for his Pokemon before preparing food for himself and the young trainers, if they wished. Well, ‘preparing’ was perhaps an overstatement since it was just warming up ration-like meals that were well suited to these trips, packing away well and keeping in bags over long periods of time. The Chespin he’d rather suddenly acquired was sticking close to him, and didn’t even eat its food until Caius sat down with his own meal, the grass type having pulled its own bowl over near to him. Was the pokemon shy, or just feeling dejected? Perhaps it would warm up to one of the young trainers if they approached it, but Caius wasn’t going to push any of them to do so.
As everyone was settling down after eating, Caius reminded them not to go anywhere alone during the night, to take at least two Pokemon with them. The gym leader’s Noctowl and Sneasel both stayed outside of his tent while Glaceon and the newfound Chespin decided to stay inside with Caius and Ryouta. Klauw, the Sneasel, was showing off his claws and plumage to the other pokemon in no time, looking to get into scraps, the hasty pokemon always eager to try out its battling skills. That night, Klauw was going to have some fun since Kenshi was quick to pick a fight. The two pokemon strayed just far enough from the tents to not be completely disruptive as others tried to sleep.
In general, ‘Ice Cold Cai’ didn’t get incredibly involved with others. He hadn’t gotten that nickname by being extremely personable. Still, the gym leader was curious about what Ryouta had answered on the form the new trainers had filled out. He asked about it once they were in his tent, the conversation ended up leading to the boy removing his goggles as he cried, telling Caius about how he’d gotten on the wrong boat and had been meant to go to the region his long-lost sister was rumored to be in. Apparently he also had a brother, both siblings having ‘left a long time ago’. The boy’s crying got a small frown from the gym leader, but his overall demeanor stayed distant. He politely offered the boy a handkerchief and calmly rumbled off questions to the boy about where exactly he’d been trying to go and what resources he now had. It ended with Caius suggesting to Ryouta that he could gain resources and experience by participating in Citra’s Pokemon League while waiting on the ship that would take him back towards the right direction, if he did well on his journey, he’d make enough to purchase a ticket by then, and be well supplied for his next adventure.
Chespin might have attempted to comfort the boy while he’d been crying, and would snuggle up near either Ryouta or Caius after everyone fell asleep. Azul curled up by the gym leader’s side, tail waving contently .

”Sne! Seeel!!”
Clang! Clash!
The Sneasel’s sharp claws made a bit of a racket as they clashed together, Klauw crying out loudly as it marched about outside the tents to wake anyone that had stayed asleep too long. Caius was already sitting by their fire, berries set out for a light breakfast so they could get moving soon. ”Good morning.” The gym leader would provide with a polite smile to each young trainer as they appeared out of their tents. His noctowl was standing nearby, feathers ruffled as he watched Klauw. Stille was a fan of being quiet, his personality rather different from the Sneasel’s.
However, the almost lighthearted atmosphere did not last long. Klauw’s loud clanging having not gotten any response from Ari’s tent. A frown formed on the gym leader’s lips as he rose from his spot and checked, only to find that the girl was gone, alongside the rest of her supplies. A tsking noise came from the man, a cold gaze turned to the other children. ”Please start taking your tents down.” While the cold edge to the man had a sharper feeling to it now, his voice remained polite. ”Stille?” The man looked to his noctowl, the pokemon silently spreading its wings and flying off, keen eyes giving Stille an advantage in finding any trail that might have been left in the snow. Meanwhile, the campfire was put out and the tents packed back up, Caius helping Himeko if she couldn’t get her tent to pack down as small as it had been originally, particularly because he wanted to get this done quickly. Just as they were packed up and finishing checks to make sure everyone had packed all their supplies correctly, a bit of a commotion picked up out in the wild snow covered expanse.
It was the sound of… well it sounded like some rockruff, it didn’t sound like they were on the ‘trail’ they’d be following but probably not too far from it. Had a larger pokemon distrubed them? Could Ari be there? ”Sel, sel!” Klauw had the appearance of being a bit sleepy, and why not, the Sneasel had been battling a good chunk of time during the night, but his red eyes still gleamed with a mixture of concern and eagerness. ”Wait.” Caius’s tone left little room for complaint, and was followed up by Azul’s, ”Ceeeon.” As if the Glaceon were agreeing with Caius as she shook her head at Klauw. They were waiting until Stille returned, hopefully with a direction, or with Ari herself. The gym leader’s blue and red eyes settled on the young trainers, adding on, ”Once Stille returns and we start moving, please, be sure not to wander.” Where they worried about the missing girl? Perhaps, or perhaps not, she was clearly not in the business of making friends. Regardless of her attitude, it was his responsibility to be sure they all made it to the city safely.

A happy humm turned part squeal followed the excitable words into the air, the excitement and energy in the air as colorful as the woman’s shockingly red hair.
”Ro, roark~!”
For being a dark time Pokemon, the Zoroark standing beside the slightly shorter woman seemed to have an equally cheery disposition, carefully doing a little dance as to not tousle the tray of spicy gingersnap cookies he was carrying. It had been a very long time since Zoro had seen his original trainer, and an even longer time since Asta had seen her long standing pen pal.
Their vivid excitement was drawing stares, but they didn’t seem to care as they half jogged over to where passengers were now stepping off of the boat. ”Haaaaalll!” The woman hollered, waving both of her hands in the air above her head with a giant grin spread across her lips, her somewhat wavy hair bouncing with the movement. She hadn’t seen him in so long, since she was a child! She had maybe seen some pictures, but it would have been easy to tell him apart from the other arrivals to Tosach town anyway, considering he’d would presumably be the one that looked at her energetic display with some kind of excitement rather than like she was crazy or avoiding looking at her altogether~
Ah- and so there he was!
”Haaall!”
”Roooooo!!”
Zoro’s howl and Asta’s shout all but blended together as the petite fireball launched herself at the man. Long standing friends got hugs dammit, even if they hadn’t seen each other in like, ten years! ”You’re here! Oh my gosh, look atcha, that pink hair!” Standing slightly on tiptoes once she broke from the hug, it seemed like total second nature for Asta to just touch Halston’s cheeks, and then his hair as she exclaimed about it, reddish amber eyes sparkling with joy and excitement. ”Mmmm! We made ya some spicy cookies!””Rark~” The Zoroark stood at a respectful distance but swayed back and forth with the same energy as Asta, holding forward the cookies to showcase them. Perhaps the cookies would be noticed by more than just Halston?
Just as quick as Rain began to rant and rave, the man quickly found himself passing out with blood on his head. Oh geez, the Starly must've done more damage than she thought. Well, it wasn't like they could continue on their journey with Rain being unconscious and bleeding. It hadn't even been that long and the day was already exhausting. " I got him, I got him... " Mio went on as she hoisted him onto her back with ease. Since she was already pretty strong physically, picking up this bean stalk was no problem for her! Making sure he was secured onto her back, the azure woman looked over at the boy who had Rain's egg. She sorta felt bad for the little dude. He was expecting a grand ol' adventure, but now not only was he stuck with those two, but he also had to wait a little longer. " Let's go get him patched up and THEN we can hopefully hit the road... Sorry, kid. "
Marching throughout town, Mio was finally able to find a little medical clinic and quickly made her way in there. The staff were obviously concerned considering the blood coming from Rain's head, but on the bright side, it didn't seem like it would kill him at all. Taking the unconscious beanstalk from her, the medical staff pointed over to the waiting area for the two of them to sit while they handled Rain's injury.

"mMm." Was all he made out as he was carried away by Mio. He would be freaking out if he was awake without his egg. It meant the world to him. "Little one..." He mumbled. Even after he was taken by away by the nurses all he was dreaming about was having his egg stolen. "No... Don't... Not... My little one..." If he had kids of his own he'd probably be an over protective parent. It wasn't long become his nightmare came to a close. He wasn't able to rescue his egg. They stole it from him. He was alone.
"Little one!" He woke up abruptly in a hospital bed. Looking around he couldn't find his little one. "No... NO!!!" He pulled the IV out of his arm and walked out of the room. A nurse walking by noticed him up and about. "Sir. You should go and lay back down. You're not in serious condition but it's best you rest." "I refuse." He stated marching onward. The nurse went over to a phone and dialed an extension. "We have a situation. I need assistance." Rain made it to the waiting area. There he saw Hikaru with his egg. "It was you!" He stomped over but before he could make it over there he was flanked by three nurses and administered a sedative. The fierce look in his eyes when he stared at Hikaru looked like he'd murder the poor boy.
It didn't take long before he was taken away and put back into his bed. This time with some added restraints. He wouldn't be able to get out of his room again until he was given a clean bill of health. Basically meant he was stuck there at least for the night. Unable to put up a fight to save his life. This time around his dreams were peaceful. The drug doing its job of keeping him knocked out.

"Talent, Effort. They're meaningless before me. I will crush your hopes and dreams if you block my path. This isn't a game where everyone can win together. Only a few can make it to the top and I will be one of them."
"Well not like we can leave him here now. All the starly would finish the job. Plus with how late it is and how bad he looks doubt we would be able to start till morning anyways" Hikaru said shaking his head as he followed "Rawst" as she easily carried Rain back into town. It was getting late and wasn't the best time to head out and with Rain pass out Hikaru figured he would stay and hold on to the egg for him, as Rain wouldn't shut up about his egg. Plus sneaking in and out of towns sounds like a problem and too much of a hassle. He could just picture his father snicking as he must of knew of this little rule they had. So he would at least stick with the group he was with at the moment. As they made it back to town they headed for a small clinic to patch Rain up. When they enter "Rawst" handled Rain to the medical staff as Hikaru went to waiting room with the egg, figuring they would be stuck at least overnight or at least late into it.
As they were stuck there till Rain was better. Hikaru pull out a Switch and started playing to waste time. He could waste all the time he wanted to at the moment, so might as well take advantage of that After a bit Hikaru thought he heard something but didn't bother to check and just keep on gaming not noticing Rain was up and heading over towards him giving him a death stare before being tackled by three nurses and taken down with a sedative. Hikaru had a bad habit of zoning out when he was "gaming". Not paying attention to anything not involving his game. His father often teased his mother was the same way when it came to her passions. Often spending hours and even days at a times doing research and going thru data without eating or sleep. Not paying attention to anything else. Though that kind of changed when Hikaru came around, as he became the only one able to get her out of her zone. Though that wasn't the only thing he had inheited from his mother.
"I don't fight for justice, peace, or the good of the world. I simply fight for myself and my pokemon team So no matter what reason you have for being in my way, good or bad. I will beat you and all in my way to reach my goals."
