Brian and Elio waited to see what would take the bait, and as they waited, Lu and Torracat got a break from battling. While Torracat hadn't done all that much, Lu was starting to get tired, and Brian fixed her and Torracat a bowl of his homemade Pokemon food, setting it down so they could eat. Both gave happy cries as they started to eat, and it didn't take them long to finish off the bowl. After they'd eaten, they rested for a bit, and it was only a few minutes later that a Pokemon appeared, a bit of the bait stuck to its mouth. Brian looked to see what it was, and he frowned as he saw yet another Stufful.

"Good grief, it seems luck really isn't on our side," he said, as he and Lu rose to battle. "Quick Attack!" Lu shot forward, white energy streaming behind her, and slammed into the Stufful, though the Normal/Fighting-type didn't go rolling as Brian had hoped. Instead, it used Payback, dealing twice the damage Lu had just dealt to it and causing her to cry out in pain. "Screech, then Vacuum Wave," Brian ordered, and the Riolu jumped to obey, letting out a loud Screech that had the Stufful hunkering down and covering its ears before the Vacuum Wave hit. This time, it was knocked back, though it got up again and tried to use Payback, but Lu was quicker, dealing a final blow with Low Kick for the knock out. "I was hoping for something more interesting than another Stufful," Brian sighed, and the four of them got up to continue walking.

William thought about it a bit, weighing his options before coming to a decision. "Why don't we head back south now that you have a Pokemon? That way, when we've had enough, it's a quicker walk back."

"Yeah, that's fair," Keiko shrugged happily. It didn't take the two long to move from the Lower North Wild Area to the Southwest Wild Area

It would only take a moment before the bait would take effect, the rustling in the nearby area slowly growing louder and louder as the attracted Pokemon began to draw closer. "Alright. Its finally time to see our first truly Galarian Pokemon. And here......we.......go." Aria told the Roto-drone, slowly creeping towards where the noises were coming from before springing out to reveal.....

yet another Timburr, slowly approaching the Roto-drone at its bait that it smelled. And Aria's face would immediately drop from one of expectation to one of mass disappointment. Throwing the piece of bait towards the Fighting type, she would look towards the distance. "Well, that's unfortunate. Guess we were slightly to close to where we encountered our last Timburr and the bait found that guy." Taking in a deep breath and slowly letting herself get centered again, she would return to looking at the camera, Billy on her shoulder. "Well, lets try another piece of the stuff." Slowly walking away from the Timburr and the general area that she had mentally labelled as "Has no Galarian Pokemon", Aria would crack open another container of Licki-good! bait and hang where the last piece had been.

It wouldn't be long before the more active trekking around with the bait out would reward Aria with a sight that she couldn't believe. Mostly, couldnt believe due to the blinding rage and utter defeat it produced in her, but unbelievable nonetheless. Because, laying on the ground in front of her, was the Krabby that not 5 minutes ago Billy had knocked out. Except they were kilometers away from that body of water now. "AM I STUCK IN SOME HELLISH TIME LOOP!? I HAVE JUST SEEN THE SAME THREE POKEMON. IN THE EXACT SAME ORDER, TWICE EVEN AFTER USING THIS BLASTED BAIT!" Aria screamed at some unknown entity, simply content to release her frustrations at the scenario to something in the world. "I AM GIVING THIS BAIT ONE MORE CHANCE! ONE MORE! OTHERWISE, SCREW THE SPONSORS, WE ARE DOING IT NORMALLY! AND IF I SEE A TIMBURR AGAIN, I AM LIGHTING IT ON FIRE!"

Huffing in exhaustion after her loud and mildly deranged outburst, Aria would grab the fourth can of bait that she had. Physically crushing it before even opening the lid with how tight she was gripping the thing, she would tear the lid open, hurl it into the distance with as much might as she could muster, and then hang it on the Roto-drone "Sorry, Billy. Just really wanted to be able to give these people an actual show, not this Watchog Day madness." Aria said to her Toxel, an apologetic look in her eye and a calm smile on her face as she set to exploring the site once again.

As Odd waited and watched, the only Pokemon to make itself known was a solitary Eevee. "I've never understood what people find so appealing about Eevee." He told Remix quietly, deciding he wasn't interested in even wasting the energy to battle it. He continued to search the area in hopes of finding a Pokemon he could rely on to support him through the remainder of the tournament.

Brian and Elio wandered what would appear next, and it seemed they wouldn't have to wait long before their next target appeared. A pinkish-purple body and tiny eyes marked this Pokemon as a Ditto, and while Brian was interested, it wasn't quite what he was looking for. Still, this would be a rather interesting battle, as the Ditto immediately transformed, and when it was done, a Torracat stood in front of them, the Ditto apparently assuming the bigger of the two Pokemon was its opponent.

"Hmm, that could work to our advantage," Brian said, as Lu moved forward. "Screech." The Ditto-turned-Torracat didn't seem very phased by the piercing noise, though Brian noticed it winced slightly. A moment later, it leaped forward with a Scratch, which made contact with Lu but didn't do all that much damage. Still, it was enough to hurt, and Lu countered with Vacuum Wave, which sent the Ditto reeling back. An Ember came next, and while Lu managed to dodge most of the attack, she still got hit with the tail end, and Brian winced a bit as he recognized the signs of a burn.

"Not good, we need to end this battle quickly," he said, and opened his mouth to give another command, but Lu used Screech before he could say anything, going straight into Low Kick after that. While the Ditto might have been able to withstand the Vacuum Wave, the combination of Screech and Low Kick was a bit too much, though it still wasn't enough to completely knock it out. A dodged Ember and a final Vacuum Wave later, and the Ditto was down for the count. While Brian wanted to catch it, all he had left was a Dive Ball, and he knew it wouldn't work nearly as well if it wasn't used on a Water-type. So they moved on, hoping that they might find something else as interesting as the Ditto and Grapploct, though Brian gave Lu a Cheri berry to take care of her Burn, followed by a Sitrus berry to restore some of her health.

Rolling to catch Eevee

Upon hearing yet another rustling from the nearby brush, Aria would reach a tense and shaking hand towards a nearby branch, grabbing up the thing as she lowered a burning glare towards where the noises were coming from. "People.....if we find yet another Timburr, Krabby, or Alolan Stunfisk, I cannot be held accountable for what I may do." She cautioned, slowly making her way to where she could finally see what the hell was exactly making so much noise.

It would only take a moment to see what exactly was causing the commotion this time. And....it wasn't one of the three Pokemon Aria was ready to bludgeon with a stick at least. "Oh my god! Look at his tiny arms! And his big, doofy grin! And his little punk spikes on his tail! Gah, its just so adorable! We are so grabbing whatever the hell this is!" Aria gushed, the emotional whiplash of finally seeing something new driving her to simply run out into the open towards the Dreepy. "Hi there! I'm Aria and this is Billy! And I'm hoping that you'll want to come along with us, lil friend!" She exclaimed, presenting her Toxel towards the Dreepy as she spoke.

Billy was not having this. There was not going to be another cute Pokemon for Aria to gush over besides him if he could help it. Squiriming his way out of his trainer's amrs, the Toxel would stare at the Dreepy's eerily unblinking eyes before rearing his head back and beginning to Flail, unleashing another flurry of attempted headbutts to drive the Pokemon off. Attempted being the key word, as the Poison type's head kept passing through the Dreepy's body on both the downswing and rearing back up for the next swing. The Dreepy, for its part, decided that this must be some strange thing that it wanted to be part of. So as Billy continued his failing effort to headbutt the thing with a Flail, he would feel the occasional bump to the back of his head as the Dreepy imitated his motions and ended up pecking him in the back of the head.

Standing back as she watched this strange interaction between the two Pokemon, she would sigh. "I....I know what Billy is trying to do. And I was gonna guess it might be a Ghost type but at least this confirms it. but this is honestly too adorable to stop right now." Aria admitted, making sure to have the Roto-drone turned to face the two child-like Pokemon interacting. And it would go on for a good minute, Billy slowly wearing himself out of his initial jealous instincts and the Dreepy legitimately just wearing itself out some from all of the sudden exercise in a motion it was really not used to. Watching the two tiny Pokemon fall back from each other in order to gather their breath, Aria would finally grab one of the Safari Balls at her hip before giving it a light toos towards the Dreepy. "Come along, small one. I can have more than one mascot!" Aria called out, watching the ball soar through the air.
