Sɑɱυεƪ ᴊᴏᵴҥʋᴀ Ɖɑᴠіʂ “Relationships are ropes. Love is a noose."
Samuel waited patiently as the male seemed reluctant to answer his question. Perhaps his past was too difficult to talk about and it was inappropriate to pry. He continued to wait until at last the male spoke, nodding sympathetically. He'd heard just about every sob story there was; from Alaine's horrid orphanage to several of his run away employees. He ate quietly as the male continued, finding his tale to be rather fascinating. It was hard to explain, but growing up the way he did, anyone who had some kind struggling, life story to tell him he found himself intrigued. It all sounded so unreal to him, he was used to be surrounding by people who were given everything they wanted on a silver platter. People who owned stocks and too many cars they knew what to do. Samuel was a tad more in touch with the real world, but still struggled with finding ways to emphasize with others. Once the male finished speaking, he knew that asking anything further about his life before coming overseas was off limits. It didn't matter, for the most part, he got what he wanted about that particular subject. "Tell me about your friend. What type of photography did you guys do? Are you mostly self taught or did you go to school?" Samuel decided it best to move on with the conversation. Even if he was curious about his old life before the states, he knew when to drop something. For now he would leave it alone and hopefully the male wouldn't mind telling him all about it another day. Until then, he was just going to keep on with his next questions. He had plenty to ask, and he wondered if the male would want to ask him anything in return. It was fine if he did. This what asking him to dinner was all about, after all. They weren't friends, but he liked to think they were a little past being customer and owner. He'd be lying if he didn't say he conversed more with Micha than he did any of his other customers.

Alaine didn't care if the other employees stared or even whispered anything about them. He just hoped they remembered who it was that just got finished signing their checks. He turned on his heel as the male took his hand, leading him from the building and into the parking lot. He didn't mind too much since this time he actually saw him coming towards him. It also wasn't like he was dragging along with him either. Alaine was weird about everything from small actions to gestures, but that didn't mean he wasn't willing to work through it. He was a lot better than he once was. Once upon a time, letting a person touch him would have been absolutely off limits. Going outside, shivering a tad as the cold air hit him. He pulled his hoodie closer around him, pulling up his hood as well. As they reached the center of the lot, he felt the male pull away from him, he looked over at him, nodding as he spoke. "Just don't fall asleep at the wheel." he replied, unsure just how awake the male really was.
Alaine made his way towards his car, first throwing his things into the backseat before sliding into the drivers side. The car roared to life after a few cranks. It was getting close to time to work on this old bucket of bolts again. Alaine loved his old car, but it was a pain to keep up to date. Sure he could keep it running, but finding parts was starting to get few and far between. He let the car sit there for a few minutes to let it warm up. Shivering as cool air blew out of the vents, taking its' sweet time to turn warm. When he was sure the car was warm enough to move with no problems, he pulled out of his spot and out of the lot, waiting for the male to get close enough behind him before pulling off onto the high way. Alaine didn't feel like searching around for something to be open. He was just hungry and ready to get home. Taking the highway, he sped back towards the city, making the trip in just a little over an hour. He was careful to make sure Liam was following behind, easing up on the gas each time he saw the male lagging behind before speeding off seconds later. He didn't slow back to a more suitable speed until he saw the bright city lights approaching. He drove through a few streets, trying to find a good place to eat. He didn't wanna go all over town and back, and didn't want to go to some place he was going to have to pay an arm and a leg just to get a decent meal either. Pulling into a near by diner lot, he parked up front, shutting off his car and waiting for Liam to park as well. Reaching back for his bag, he snatched at it, throwing it over his shoulder as he stepped out of the car. "Didn't fall asleep did you?" he asked curiously, walking around to the other side of his car and leaning against it while the male go out.

Alaine watched the male get out of his own car before turning towards him. He stared curiously as the man came towards him, a hint of a smirk tugging at his lips as the male spoke. He felt his breathe catch as he was kissed, kissing back just before the male pulled away. Smiling to himself, he eagerly pushed away from his car, rushing towards Liam to catch up. Following inside, he looked around at the place before focusing his attention on the hostess. Going over to a booth, he sat across the male, smiling politely before picking up a menu. Like most places, it was standard burgers, fries and other stuff that basically mocked you if you were on a diet. At this point, Alaine didn't care what he ate so long as it was edible. He was starving, and kicking himself for not eating before leaving for work. When he was sure he was ready to order, he set his menu aside, looking over at the male. Gently nudging him with his foot, he smiled at the male. "So are you coming over or not?" he asked, not wasting time coming up with some cute, nonchalant way of asking him over.

Alaine leaned back against the cool leather seat, smiling back at the male as he leaned forward. He was tempted to sit up and kiss him when he agreed, but resisted said urge as the waiter came over. Instead, he smiled politely up at the waiter, ordering a plain burger with fries with an unsweet tea. It was going to be fun explaining his eating habits again to his endocrinologist. Handing his menu back to the waiter, Alaine waited all of five seconds after the waiter left before leaning forward and taking the males chin in his hand. He pressed a quick kiss the males lips before flopping back, though not completely satisfied, it was enough to hold him for now. "What do you work tomorrow, today, er...you know what I mean." he asked, deciding to try and make conversation than sit in silence.

Alaine didn't care about any lectures from his endocrinologist, the man was always lecturing. It was always something; he needed to eat more, he needed to go on a diet, adjusting his insulin intake, cutting back on the late night meals, cutting back on meals. It was endless. No matter how much he changed his diet, it seemed his doctor was never pleased, so Alaine simply didn't care and listened to his body to know what he could and couldn't eat. He smirked to himself as the male smiled at him after being kissed, he shrugged at the males reply,"Plan on it, but I gotta first see how long it'll take to do some errands." he replied. Alaine had every plan on being at work tomorrow, now that he was getting to know someone other than his co-owner, he was somewhat looking forward to going into work. As for tomorrow, it was nothing important he had planned, just the usual blood work to prep for his upcoming doctors appointments.

Grabbing his drink, he sat as they sat quietly, both obviously tired and make desperate attempts at small talk. He looked up, nodding at his question. "Not much, orders and insults mostly. Sam's family immigrated to the states during World War II. While recovering their loses and making their rise in power here in the city, it was decided that the children get the highest education possible. Russian is just one of the languages he knows, but one he uses the most. When he gets annoyed with work, it's the one he seems to favor, so being stuck in an office with him for a couple hours a few days a week, those words and commands sorta rubbed off. It's about all I can comprehend, it's not enough to make a conversation....at least a very long one anyways." he replied, smiling sheepishly. Taking another sip of his drink, he soon set it back down, looking back at the male, wondering if he really wanted to talk about Samuel. He knew how he felt about him, at least he thought he did, and he doubted there was much more he could say without starting something he didn't want to finish.

As he spoke he could tell that Liam didn't give a damn about Samuel. It was fine with him, it felt a little awkward to talk about him as well and would rather just drop the subject all together. He sat there looking around for their waiter, hoping the food would be coming soon to save them from this awkward silence. When the male spoke again, he looked towards him, staring curiously at him. "Anything, anything?" he asked, wondering were they on a new topic or were they still on languages. Either way, he gave a small shrug. "I've always wanted to learn how to play the violin, but I'm such brain dead when it comes to pricing instruments, I never know what's a good price or where to buy." he replied, smiling a bit. Alaine loved all forms of music, with Classical being one of his favorites. Even though he mainly played electric instruments in his booth, his real curiosity had always been held by strings. "What about you, anything you've just been dying to learn?" he asked in turn.

Alaine knew he didn't seem the type to like Classical music, but he did. It was a shame that such beautiful music was slowly dying out due to grew population in other genres like Rap and R&B. Don't get him wrong, there were a good number of artist out there he enjoyed that fell under those categories, but were he to choose Classical or Rap, he would take Classical in an instant. Maybe people didn't realize, or perhaps they were just so into using their computers to make music for them, that they tend to forget in order to make the music they like, you need these instruments to make these sounds, that somebody had to learn how to play just so you could manipulate that sound. Alaine had always thought about going back to college one day and perhaps pursue a degree in music. He'd already proven himself capable of being able to produce and compose his own music. But there was still so much more he could learn. He nodded along as the male spoke, smiling a bit. He could just imagine what it'd be like to go to Paris. It seemed like such an amazing city. He always found Europe to be quite fascinating and the many old buildings and structures to be lovely. "Nice. After you learn the language, any plans on traveling there?" he asked curiously.
