The Mountain

Shikon's lithe form moved silently through the mesh of pines, his head low, with a hunter's poise. His ears were back, but not with aggression. No one likes a needle in their ear. His golden eyes swept the area, muscles taught and ready to spring at any movement. His nose twitched as a familiar scent hit it, and he was tempted to sigh. She had followed him. Again. His looked over his midnight black shoulder. She would be able to track him at all if not for the band of white fur that circled his chest. Pity.

Shikyo pounced, closing the distance between her and her brother. She was the more lively of the two, her grey tail sweeping over the pines. She saw his look and pouted. "Don't look so happy to see me. I'm not that bad." She watched as he rolled his eyes, then nipped him on the flank. She was rewarded with a snarl. She put her ears back momentarily in submission, then popped another question. "So... Now what?"

Sulkrai stretched her large smokey, black body across a large boulder, she quietly watched Arkanna with her light green eyes, her ears twitched lightly listening to the different sounds around her, "Seilene would have never said those things if you have just listened to her...." she said calmly and yet with a strong tone.

Arkanna's short blacked stripped hair rose on her neck, flipping around to Sulkrai she growls, "She nearly got herself killed!!" she snarled to her,"Am I suppose to listen when she's dead!?" she asked angrily. Her tail swayed irratatedly behind her as she looked down, Her ears were pinned to her head in anger. Then the wind blew slightly and Arkanna caught two unfamiliar scents, with a low growl she turned around snd looked around.

Sulkrai's ears instantly shot up, "Arkanna don't you even think about..." she stopped smelling the scents as well. She didn't move from her spot on the boulder.  

[Slighter]

Slighter shook his head and sighed. "Not much, beside one hunter who found his way here but he go killed so i gusses that dosen't matter now." Slighter said smilling has he yawned.

*Wolf couldnt help but laugh*''well...thats interesting...how about u? Did u find a mate yet?"

Desarai having explored a few places already decided to explore further she walks forward her violet eyes finally falling upon the mountain. A strong breeze rushes through the mountain area causeing desarai to shift on her paws. She then decides to to change slowly into her human form. Her long golden white hair flowing down to the middle of her pack. She has white tank top and a white flowing skirt and white sandles. She then walks up the mountain reaching a ledge she sits down. Looking around she smiles at the view then takes a deep breath of the fresh air. She then starts to sing softly a song that she had written.

We're coming going as the tide.

The world has changed its stride.

Then crosses the divide in the aftermath,

Desarai lets her voice drift off softly noticing that her voice actually echoed a bit she smiles then looks up at the sky. The suns rays washing over her warming the sudden coldness that she felt within her bones. She then sighs just thinking about her past and hoping to change her furture to where she could stay in one place.

After sitting up their for awhile she decides to start another drawing. Reaching into her bag for her sketch pad she begins to draw the view from where she was sitting. So deep into her drawing her mind begins to drift her violet eyes beginning to shadow. Her hands suddenly still upon the page her eyes becoming shadowed even more. Then suddenly she hears whispers so many whispers of people in agony or people suffering. Her mind begins to show her different scenes of terrible things echos of pain rushed through her body she crys out and then suddenly it fades away still hearing the echo's of pain she collapses on the ledge.

[Keara Linate Sivenate]

Keara stops and looks back at Sora and waits for her to catch up.  

[Nutella Mocha]

Sora gets up and stretches, then starts to follow Keara. Catching up to her she smiles, "Let's go before old man leaves us!"  

[Keara Linate Sivenate]

Giggles and says just loud enough so Slighter can hear her. "Yeah, at his snail pace he'll defently leave us behind." Smiles at Sora and starts to jog after Slighter with some difficulty because of her dislocated shoulder.  

[Slighter]

Slighter carelessly kept walking at his fast pace ignoring there comments while he jumped over some fallen trees and slowly made his way towards the mountain and waited for them at the base.

 

[Keara Linate Sivenate]

Keara picked up her pace a little bit and lept over the fallen trees that Slighter had just jumped over and stumbled slightly before catching up to him.  

[Nutella Mocha]

Sora stayed there for a moment and looked around one last time. Sniffing the air a couple of times. Shaking herself off for some odd reason she walks after them. Jumping up on rocks and over fallen trees, she couldn't see them anymore but she knew where she was going.  

[Slighter]

Slighter yawned once looking to his side at Keara, "Taking her time." he said to her while he looked up the mountain and slowly started to climb up.

 

[Keara Linate Sivenate]

Keara slowed her pace a little and limped after him. "Taking her time indeed." She giggled as she followed him not wanting to get lost in a place where she didn't know her way around. Mumbles to herself "Damn shoulder......" Keara tried to put weight on her left leg and winced as she felt the grinding sensation and pain in her shoulder.


(i've had a dislocated shoulder so i know what it feels like lol smile everytime i tried to move the arm it hurt like hell and the bones rubbed eachother before they popped it back in place)  

[Nutella Mocha]

Sora noticed she was behind alot and quickened her pace. Starting to run at her fastest pace she trips on a unconvient(sp?) tree root. Giving a small yelp she lands on the ground with a soft 'thud' "Damnit.." She muttered angrily to herself and shook off the dirt and leaves off her fur. Running again she watches where she was going more carefully, when she came out of the forest she saw Keara and Slighter climbing the mountain. She followed them quickly till she was besides Keara.
