Celebiest Since we're America's upstairs neighbour, I am not looking forward to what Trump has in store for Canada. We did not spend hundreds of years fighting for the things we would take for granted today, just for them to become undone in an instant. And all because of some mysogynistic and racist shithead who knows zip diddly squat about how politics works. Yea, I'm tempted to tell all the Americans who say they're moving to Canada to stay the f*** away from our country hahaha....I can't believe the US elected Trump. Sure they want change, but change for the worse? Like, really!?

Sid the Bear Celebiest Since we're America's upstairs neighbour, I am not looking forward to what Trump has in store for Canada. We did not spend hundreds of years fighting for the things we would take for granted today, just for them to become undone in an instant. And all while Trump here lines his pockets with the hard earned money of his fellow Americans. And knowing him, he'll screw over everyone who isn't a white cis male.

Yea, I'm not looking forward to his racist, sexist, homophobic, and hate-filled policies...he doesn't deserve to get a government pension or all the perks of being president but so many Americans voted for him without thinking of the consequences of a megalomaniac with an ill temper leading the nation. just watch him piss off all the other countries and start a war that no one needs.

Celebiest I know I shouldn't be making a fuss about about this since I'm an Canadian, but I REALLY don't want any of America's hate and policies bleeding into Canada. Of course, since our Prime Minister is Trudeau, he'll make sure this country maintains it's reputation of being a wonderful place to live in. I know that we may not be perfect, and we also have just as much skeletons in our closet as our neighbours, but at least we're slightly better off I feel the same way. Now I guess all we can do is wait and see how much America's choice affects us. Hopefully, Trump and Trudeau have a good relationship and Trump doesn't do something like changing our trade deals to benefit us less. We're no where near perfect but we are definitely doing some things right and are still a respected country around the world; maybe Trudeau can maintain our reputation without bending over backwards for the US.
