Kaya was thrown to the ground easily by Sub's weight when the Dark channeler landed on him, letting out an amusing 'oof!' as the air was crushed from his lungs on contact. He struggled to try and keep both of his pistols but Sub was too strong at the angle he was pulling from.

Odd yelped and dove forward when Sub cried out. Turning to return fire, he multiplied himself by four, two facing Sub and two facing Morgan. "You're not getting me that easily!" They all shouted as all four fired their pistols. Sub, being a channeler himself, might see through the Ghost specialists illusion and hit the real Odd after this but Morgan was his real target.

Odd could be just as crafty as Sub when it came down to the wire and when he was shot at, it showed. He vanished into the ground, leaving his pistol laying in the desert sand. Phasing through the dirt, he gained ground on his target as quickly as possible. Erupting from the ground, he threw an uppercut at Sub as he became tangible once more. "Not gonna be that easy!" He exclaimed, ducking back into the ground, still not noticing the glowing red mark on his right side, where Sub had hit him earlier.

The moment he was freed, Kaya clambered up and charged after Morgan. He'd spotted the weapon in his hands and was determined to steal it from the boy before he figured out how to use it.

The Krookodile would be knocked off its feet as the bullet slammed into it, a small life counter that started at two appearing before eliminating one of the lives it displayed. Well, that was an answer for Sub's question if he ever needed one.

Mrogan would have the chest open to reveal what appeared to be a water gun, except where one would traditionally put water instead appeared to be loaded with blistering hot magma. A holographic display would come up, quickly identifying the gun. Slugma gun - Fire streams of lava at opponents. I love the smell of napalm in the morning.. Hopefully, this would be useful for whoever ended up with the gun.

Morgan tossed the weapon, a wild throw that spun straight past the Krookodile to land on the sand. It was momentarily stunned by just how bad its aim was- not to mention still gasping for air- and stopped, hands on its knees. Valkyrie flew up behind it, pecking its ear, and it started running again with a shriek. This was terrifying, and it really did /not/ want to get shot.

Odd was definitely hit by Griswold's Dark Pulse but being wrapped up and bound within the Pokemon's body gave him the chance to fight back. Siphoning energy right out of the Ghost-type's body through the full-body contact in order to weaken it and remain conscious, himself. "You're not getting me that easily." He grunted out. This attack really hurt.

As for Kaya, he attempted to dive past Auguste, sliding through the sand and releasing one of his Pokemon(a first attempt given that he wasn't aware that his team was available to him during this). AS his Leavanny appeared before him, he called out. "Electroweb, Primrose! Aim for the new guy." He knew Auguste wouldn't be affected by the Electric-type attack so he'd deal with the Krookodile next. With Primrose occupying the human boy, Kaya reached for the gun he'd seen in his hands in an attempt to use it against him and Sub.

Kaya was thankful for Leslie's help extinguishing the wildfire, signalling her with an appreciative wave before he knelt down to his Pokemon. Giving his Marill a rub on the head and scratching his Dunsparce's back. The little land snake Pokemon's wings fluttered happily as it was scratched and the Marill bounced about for a few moments. Recalling his partners, Kaya began to make his way back towards town.

Trishella began to follow RC after Rhyme was sent on her way. Idina was following her closely, eyes and ears alert to any dangers.

Sub would reappear at HQ, having returned from Professor Birch's place. He decided though to just sit down in the main area and wait for three of his members, the ones holding the three starter Pokemon. He wanted to get a good look at them himself.

Seth followed Sub into the big room where people congregated, and let the Mudkip out of its Pokeball. "Kip! Kip!" The Mud Fish was a bit surprised at it's surroundings, but quickly adjusted. "Your orders, sir?" Seth questioned.

"Well first off I want you to recall that Mudkip. Last thing I need is to this place to get damaged again." Sub answered Seth. "Second, follow me." He would then get up off the couch and walk towards the stairs leading down to the lab.

Seth recalled the wily Pokemon, and followed Sub down into the lab. Wonder what's going on...

Seth recalled the wily Pokemon, and followed Sub down into the lab. Wonder what's going on...

"Release it." Sub said rather bluntly as he sat down at a table in the lab. It didn't seem he had done anything other than sit down so why was he so jumpy about the Mudkip being out of its ball in the main area but doesn't mind it being out in the lab?

Rhyme just catches sight of the leader with another individual and she hurries on after them, following as they make it down to the lab and she pops her head in, wondering what Sub meant. Given she missed part of the conversation...though the boy does look familiar. Did he maybe have a connection to the Treecko and the other starters? She kept the grass lizard's ball in hand, not wanting to bother Sub as he didn't seem to be in the best of moods at the moment.
