Haydar the Truthful Hello, I have just joined this Guild as soon as I got the invitation, I am a 16 year old Male living in Michigan, U.S. I am a Shia Muslim and I am glad I was accepted here, I hope to get to know all of you if not most of you so we can have fun here. As for languages I really only know English, But I can understand vocally when someone talks in Arabic I'll know what they are saying. I'm currently trying to find an easy way to learn Arabic though. biggrin welcome to OUR family ^_^

My name is Muhammad, and I am 17.
I am a follower of Ahl us-Sunnah wal Jama'ah because that is, I am convinced, the straight path. I don't follow any particular madhab at this point, because I'm still sort of searching.
I live in Chicago, IL, USA. I'm Pakistani.

Zaaki Waalaykum-asalam! Welcome to our guild brother smile What's Ahl us-Sunnah, and wal Jama'ah, and Madhab? In other words, I'm Sunni. "Sunnis" are known as Ahl us-Sunnah [people of the Sunnah]. Madhab is just the interpretation of Hadith and Sunnah. The main Islamic ones are Hanafi, Hanbali, Maliki, and Shafi'i. Madhab is not religion, but just different opinions in religion. They still all follow the Sunnah and are on the Straight Path. All four of these madhabs are Islam.
