Yeah, well, they don't censor all those people kissing, so why would they censor that?
I think Sokka meant both in real life and in the play. If I remember correctly, Jet told the gang he'd be okay and to go. Later, Toph said he was lying. I don't know if they showed his death. Did they?

I thought Jet died and cried for like, a long time. xD
But then, from that play, it gave me a bit of hope. Could he possibly be alive? I know Toph said he was lying, implying he was dying, but you can be NOT okay but still be ALIVE, right? XD Just in pain, right?
So...could he be alive?
