Granted. But suddenly Wall-Street uses the new-found money to build an army, which they in turn use to actually conquer the world. But in a last-ditch effort, Russia decides that they can save the world by destroying it, which really just means they wanted to nuke the world. So now the entire surface of the Earth has been scarred by multiple nuclear weapons detonating. Congrats, all life on Earth is over.
