Garret washed down and enjoyed the hot water. Climbing out of the shower he wrapped himself up in the towels again. He left the bathroom and walked down a few short steps to another level of the house. Garret turned a corner and was in his room. Throwing the towels off he grabbed some clothes and pulled them on.

Garret looked around the room. He had money littered everywhere in this house, he just had to find it. Throwing some things around he finally came across a wad of cash and shoved it in his pants. He smirked. Grabbing up a duffel bag he threw some things in and shoved the next wad of cash in a small hidden pocket in the bag.

Garret walked back up to Brandt and his guests. He was already hungry and not for food. He wondered casually if he could go visit the woman he had left last night for a short time while every one else was getting things together. Garret slightly shook his head and scratched the idea off, best not get Brandt upset before the big journey.

"Garret, could you please sort out the food supplies while I get packed?" Brandt asked when he spotted garret leave his room after getting dressed. He turned to his guests.
"Should we return to your houses for luggage?" he asked.

"I've got everything." Adrian said, pointing to his rucksack. "No food though."

"Well we will provide for that of course." Brandt said with a friendly smile. Adrian nodded in what was probably appreciation if he didn't look so sour all the time, Brandt thought.

"I would would like to pick up a few things from home," Sylva replied in a calmly manner. "And I suppose I should leave father a message."

He wouldn't be pleased to come home and find her gone nor would mother. It pleased her to think they may come after her, but she would explain the situation. They would comply though whether they wanted to or not.

Rei flinched and braced himself for an impact. He squeezed his eyes shut tightly, but the slap never came. He slowly opened one eye and examined the situation. Rei relaxed a bit when he saw her devour the frozen treat.

When she asked the question he pondered for a moment. "There are the rare few Enamids," he replied. "But when I think of Cloud....no not too much."

Thinking over the question again it peeked his curiousity. "Why do you ask?"

Hana inspected Rei, trying to determine if it were wise to confide her plan to him. In a hushed voice she began ease him into the story. "What would you think of a world without Enamids Rei?" She asked, leaning in closer to him.

Hana was a good manipulator she just had to play her cards right, it was rare that someone could out think her. The rare exception being her Enamid twin, she almost crinkled her nose at the thought.

The day was getting later, in a few hours her trip must commence. It would be nice to have an escort or two on the journey to make sure things went smoothly. She was not terribly worried about much harm to herself, but the trip might call upon more physical prowess than she had, not to mention not many people will bother a woman with an entourage.

Rei blushed ever so slightly at her closeness, but really he enjoyed it. He forced himself to take a step back however from her. "Wow....that seems like a loaded question," he replied putting his hands on his hips. He stared down at the ground as his thought about it. When he finally got a trail of thought he looked up and stared her right in the eye.

"Well....its hard to imagine being that they've been around since we were born," he began. "But to be honest....even though there are a few Enamid that are alright.....those few don't outweigh the mass that we could do without."

"Like Cloud.....," he mumbled in distaste.

Garret started to rummage through the kitchen, slamming open cupboards and clanking kitchenware together. He opened the refrigerator and yelled out to Brandt, "Where exactly am I putting all of this, and when are you going to go meet your new best friend?"

Garret shoved some bread and meat onto the counter and paused for a moment to hear Brandt's reply. He looked quickly out of the kitchen at Sylva, "well dear you know we cant have you roaming around without your necessities, we would obviously escort you to your home and allow you time to pack."

Garret sighed as he looked at the food. He bent over again and moved some condiments aside. Perhaps he should ditch the refrigerator and move back to snack items. He immediately thought of lovely chips and creme filled goods.

Brandt dug around and found a cooling bag for the refrigerated goods and passed it to him.
"don't overload us." he advised, unsure of how far they would have to trek.
"Andm what?You mean I have to find her and start acting as a double agent already?" he complained, looking nervous. He had expected to 'by chance' meet her in the journey, at least then he would have some good companionship on the way, but that -on closer reflection- made little sense. she would be suspicious.
he sighed.
"I guess i should meet her asap, before it gets to late." he said.
"Garret, you have my mobile phone number, right? i'll keep in contact that way."

Sylva watched the boys bustle about in the kitchen while they worked on packing supplies. She waited for them to finish up so they could return to her home to get what she require. She was already making a mental list. The item on top of course being a pad of paper and some to paint with. There were other items she considered but probably were needed....at least in a man's point of view.

Seeing this might take longer than she wondered over near Adrien and continued to wait.

Aiden made little motion to help and sat watching them work. the idea of Brandt as a double agent was funny to him -m the guy didn't seem to have teh guts for even that relatively simple task. he sighed and then chuckled to himself, tunring to face Sylva.

"it seems like it's just us enamids on our epic quest, then>" he said. "just the three of us. Now that might be quite interesting."

"Indeed," Sylva replied simply. "Not something I was expecting to do when I woke up today. I thought I would be performing other.....tasks."

She meant for it to sound suggestive and be a tease although what she really meant was playing the piano and painting.....keeping her pet entertained which could in fact become something more than suggestive if she let it. She pulled at the ruffle on her sleeves and smoothed out the fabric on her stomach. Perhaps a bit slower than most people would but than that was intentional. She made no expression as if she was doing nothing at all that meant she was teasing him.

"Oh really?" Adrain asked ina slight accusation, getting her meaning and leaning in a little closer. "and what 'tasks' might they be, little lady?"

he raised an eyebrow, doubtful that she would have the guts to go far with the innuendos she tried to set up. he had a feeling she was playing a game with him, but didn't rate her highly enough to ever outwit him.

Sylva gave a small hint of a smirk. "I don't really think thats any of your business," she replied. "But if you must know I had various tasks planned.....a little of this and a little of that to put simply."

She glanced away and tapped a finger on her cheek as if looking puzzled or disappointed. Her voice lowered so that Brandt at least didn't hear and turned to the side. "A pity though the journey starts today of all days," she remarked. "I was hoping to have someone model for me while I painted. I know so little about the human form when its undressed." She shot a glance out of the corner of her eye at Adrien before turning to face him again. "Oh well."

Garret nodded at Brandt. He was filled with such love for his twin who would risk himself to help an Enamid, what some would consider the scourge of this earth. He said nothing to his twin for he knew if he embraced him or said anything it would immediately lead to him wanting to take Brandt to bed or say something provocative and inevitably end their momentary truce.

He finished packing up some of the food and instead of speaking to Brandt turned to Sylva. "While he is out being the spy of the century we should get you home to pack. We can come back here to get our things gathered." Turning to Brandt he finally said, "If the status of this event changes or any update is necessary to tell us, text me."

"I will do." Brandt promised with a nervous smile. "I suppose I should be off being..uh..angent-ish."


Adrian studied Sylva carefully, a smirk crossing his features.
"you're a tease." he commented, seeing what she was doing. "I don't know whetehr to be flattered at the sentiment or offended by the manipulation."
his smile didn't phase though, so it was obvious this was one of the few times hwere he wasn't offended.

"Wish me luck!" Brandt called as he headed out the door, intending to look like he met Hana on a chance meeting - a bag would be suspicious. he started walking towards her house
