I madalas do dahil, because of kaibigan.
Does this work? o:

Nearly correct...a little polishing on it though..

"Oo, madalas akong maglaro dahil sa mga kaibigan ko."

That's the tagalog version of your answer.

Yes = Oo (Opo and Oho are used as alternatives for Oo. They are used for denoting respect. Example: A child answers the parents with opo. Oho is used mostly with servants answering their masters.)
Often = madalas
friends = kaibigan
mga = used to make a noun go in plural form ( i.e: bulaklak - > mga bulaklak = flower - > flowers)
Dahil = because

So the english for my Tagalog version of the answer would be....
"yes, I often do because of friends."

that's it... smile

That's good. c:

Kumstaka, I'm kerrowe...

I live in the US, and
I've been wanting to learn and practice my Tagalog, so I'd be able to use them a little more, and I only know a handful of words, thanks to a few my online friends. o:
So I was wondering if anyone here wouldn't mind. So I could try to talk (mostly) Tagalog with someone and that might be willing to help me learn more.

Salamat. sweatdrop

(Please quote me so I get the heads up.) o.o

This is quite interesting. ^^
Hello, Kerrowe! Ako si Megumi! Okay lang naman ako. Ikaw ba? mrgreen
Translation: Hello, Kerrowe! I'm Megumi! I'm fine. How 'bout you? 4laugh
Kumsta, Megumi! Ako si Kerrowe. Mabuti naman ako.

Is that right? o:

What is the Naman for? ^^;

It's actually an expression added to a sentence. But it doesn't alter the meaning of the sentence. In your sentence "Mabuti naman ako", it's the same thing when you say "Mabuti ako".
But literally, when you translate "Mabuti naman ako", it means "I'm fine, too." mrgreen
