Slowly, one by one, she use her teeth to gently work the stickers out of herself. The ones on her face would have to be saved for last. She needed her arms for that and they were just completely covered in stickers. "Ow, ow ow..."

Macaria headed back toward the temple. This was getting too much. He started to believe his darker side and think that maybe they left the lands. If so it would take them even longer to find them. He was just about to give up when he thought about the cubs. They must be so frightened. They have no family and they're hiding somewhere, waiting for anyone to find them. He sighed. Why was he so good? If he had listened to his darker side he would be fast asleep in the temple by now. He glanced around but there was no sign of the cubs.

Once her arms were free, she started in on the ones on her tummy and chest. Finally, she got to her face. These were going to be hard because she couldn't see them. Bracing herself, she swiped a paw over her face, feeling for them and then let out a scream when she found one. Quickly, she pulled it off and tossed it to the side. "Ouch!"

The wild boar was awoken to the sound of many paws on the earth and all kinds of strange noises. She raised her head to look around, blinking a few times. The sight she saw was strange indeed. There were many leopards and even other animals all around her. She quickly stood up. Were they on the hunt? She would be a tasty meal for all these leopards. Then she realized that some were calling for cubs. It took her quite awhile but eventually she realized that they were looking for some lost cubs. Oh the poor things must be scared. Even if she had no idea what they looked like and was usually a meal for said leopards, she root around for them too. Maybe they'd reward her by not eating her. There certainly didn't seem to be any where she had been laying. She got up and went to go look somewhere else.

"Little cubs, we're starting to get a little worried about you. Your little game has been fun, but I think it's time to come back to the temple." He called out, hoping to get their attention. There wasn't a sound he could hear from the cubs. He would just have to look some where else.

'just let me have a look for them. I'll find them in no time.' his dark side said. 'I'm good at hide and seek. I'll find them in no time. Just leave it to me little Macaria.'

Macaria shook his head. It would be bad if he let his dark side out. He was quick to temper and hated everyone around him. If his dark side did find the cubs, Macaria was scared he might hurt them. So despite his other side being a batter finder than him he decided it would be best to keep looking himself.

Eventually, she worked all of them out of her fur that she could find. Whimpering, she found the stream she had been looking for earlier and just sat down, whimpering and swallowing as the cold water hit her wounds. "Why does this always happen to me?"

More poking and prodding. Had she already been here before? Now Ligiea was beginning to get a little lost, herself. She wasn't a member of the troupe of leopards who lived near the area, and she typically resided in the grasslands. It was easier to hear the gods out there. Again she fiddled with the knobs. Gods, help me!

Ligeia crouched her shoulders and prowled through the jungle, as though she were stalking. At least it was a fresh way to look for the cubs. "Cubs! Babies! Where are you!?" She called out in a sing-song voice as motherly as she could, but that was something else she wasn't very familiar with.

'Even I wasn't this bad as a cub,' his darker side thought as he looked around. 'the worst I did was scare people. These cubs though. They're getting the whole pride worked up. Makes you pissed off doesn't it Macaria.'

He didn't answer his dark side. It wasn't needed. His dark side by now figured out that he was getting just a hair annoyed. Macaria was determined to not let it show though. He would keep his cool attitude. If he let even the slightest anger show that would give his dark side a chance to take control and he did not want to risk that.

The leopardess sighed. This was getting nowhere. She looked over her shoulder to what she thought was the exit of the jungle. She wasn't responsible for these cubs. They weren't her problem. So why was she spending so much time and energy looking for them? Her ears turned against her skull and she took a step away from the search area.

Kalua, the wild boar, continued down the path with her nose flush to the ground. Leopards had distinct smells to them. Maybe she could sniff one out. She dug with her hooves at the dirt thinking maybe one was hiding under the earth. Unfortunately, she couldn't find one here either. No wonder all these leopards were going crazy trying to find them. They were indeed very hard to find. She let out a snort of slight frustration. If she were a little cub, where would she hide. Kalua rolled her eyes. If she were a leopard cub, the only thing she'd need to hide from is a lion. Luckily, no one paid attention to her since they were so busy looking for cubs.

Rolling around in the water, she managed to work a few that she couldn't reach free. Grinning, she admittedly felt better and shook herself off before heading out again. Cubs didn't stay depressed for too long. At least not her.

She weaved in and out of the trees at her top speed and blinked when a flash of purple appeared out of the corner of her eye. Purple? That was an unusual color. Tilting her head, she managed to skid to a stop before heading back, brows knitting. Hello?

He headed deeper into the forrest. Maybe there the coolness of the jungle could calm him down. He let himself slump to the ground. These cubs were something else. He could hardly believe it. He wished his darker side wasn't so mean. Right now he would come in handy finding these cubs. Maybe someday his dark side would realize being mean wasn't the easiest way to go about life.

'It might not be the easiest way but it is a lot funner than what you do.' his dark side replied to his thought.

He wanted to argue, but he rather not draw unwanted attention to himself as he argued with himself. He didn't want to worry anyone. This was his problem to worry about. He did not want to bring anyone else into it.

It must have been her imagination. Shrugging a little more, she kept running through the trees, screaming like Tarzan as she tried to jump and climb a tree that way. However, she knew she could do this part. She did it a lot! Laughing again, she scampered up to the first branch of the first tree she gripped. "Hmm!"
