soxs1219 It's fine, I'm getting off soon. [ Taipa watched him and said, "You can do this!" She watched, wincing when he didn't get it. She crossed her fingers. When the bell rang she squealed and kissed him. "Eeee!! Thank you! We'll take the big bear." She said to the announcer, hugging it close when the fae handed it to her. She showed Spook and hugged him with the bear in between, and grabbed his hand. "To the ferris wheel?" She asked, smiling.

Spook went to the stand and bought two cones of cotton candy then walked back to Taipa and handed her one. "Here have some, now we can go get on the ride." He said as he put his arm around her waist and led her to the line for the ferris wheel.

She took the treat from him and took a small bite. "Mmm, this is good. Thank you." She limped with him, cuddling her prize, as they walked to the line. It wasn't too long, but they had to wait a couple of rounds. "Wow.. This might take a while."

Spook pokes his head out of the line and looks at it's length. He thinks he see's his daughter but isn't quite sure. Then she flicks her tail and he could make no mistake. That was Mika, he looked at Taipa and asked "Wanna cut the line?"

Taipa raises her eyebrow. "Yeah, sure.. Who is up there?" She cuddled her bear even closer and looked out the line to see who he was looking at. She shrugged. "Let's go."

He grabbed her hand and pulled her down the line saying "You'll see." He got to Mika and stopped and said "Hey there princess. How's my lovely daughter been?"
Mika turned at the sound of her father's voice and squeed "Daddy!!" she hugged him tightly and kissed his cheek then looked over to Taipa "And who's this pretty lady?"

Taipa watched the affection shown between them and awkwardly stood behind Spook. She smiled when the fae put attention to her. SHe put her hand out to shke. "Hi, I'm Taipa, and you are?" She moved her weight from foot to foot trying to ease out the pain.

Mika looked at Taipa's hand but shook it anyways. "I'm Mika, Spooks Daughter, and you are?" she asked curiously.
Spook watched the women with a smile. Soon it was time to move up in the line and he took a few steps forward with them, munching on his cotton candy.

Well.. what do I say? Taipa thought. "I'm, uh, Spook's friend. You are quite beautiful, you must get your looks from your father, uh?" She walked with the line and they were almost to get on. She looked at Spook.

Mika chuckles "Thanks but I get my a** from my mom!" she nearly shouted and kinda waved her butt around
Spook gave his 'little girl' a disapproving glance. "Mika you know I hate it when you talk like that." he said but thought to himself why does she always have to bring up her mother
Mika's ears lowered and she pouted and hugged her father "I'm sorry daddy, I didn't mean to embarrass you in front of your date" Mika wasn't naive, she knew her father had feelings for Taipa, she just wasn't sure how strong they were. The line moved forward.

Taipa gave a low, uncomfortable laugh when she saw the girl wiggle, then call it a date. "I'm not sure if that's what it is but.." She stepped forward with the line. "Almost there!" She kind of squealed, happy to be with Spook on this... what were they doing?

Mika tilted her had and looked at her dad who just shrugged so she did too, whatever floats daddy's boat she thought.
Spook took Taipa's arm as the line moved and they were next.
The carny looked at their party and said "I'm sorry but these seats are only made for two, one of you will have to wait till next round."
Mika nodded and said "well I wouldn't want to interrupt so you two go ahead" she said and kissed her father on the cheek and ran off to find her mate
Spook lead Taipa into the booth and sat down. The safety bar clicked in front of them and the wheel started to move. Spook looked over at Taipa and said "sorry if my daughter made you feel uncomfortable?"

Taipa waved at Mika as she departed the group and sat in the booth, relieving some pressure of her feet. She smiled a soft smile. "Don't worry about it. She is just like you though, kinda catches your eye and makes you wonder." Sh smiled and shrugged. "But she's cute like you two... But there is something different."
