Shik was treading on thin ice, goading her on, as usual, treating her with such disrespect as he always did. She would have turned on him, if things hadn't happened right at that moment to prevent it. The ceiling collapsed down on them in a torrent of sand and rock that knocked her already shaking self off of her feet. Her fear shield was so heavily damaged it was a wonder she even managed to fight her way out and back to her feet.

And then hunters. And then Medea granting them all more power. It was just what she needed. Her head was finally clear and she could think again. Whether or not Shik noticed, she offered him a wolfish smile, eyes glimmering with excitement before she threw herself into the fray, dagger slashing at the barrier, fear from her crystal coursing through her and adding more power to the blow.

The Hunters were putting up a valiant effort. But Kiwi was ready for this. He could feel the FEAR flowing through him, raw and powerful. Soaring up through the air the horseman let fly his sickle blade, chain pulling taut as the tip of the blade drew a long, sharp line across the barrier. It weakened with a shimmer.

Kiwi touched back down, recognizing Heidla beside him. He smiled and gave her an encouraging tap on the shoulder as he readied another attack.

He guessed he would be a very lousy hunter. It was a good thing he had the dual scythes on his coat and not the moon. Grimacing, he ducked again.
