[CLOSED] A.L.C.H.E.M.Y. Booth

Ohhhh, now this was an interesting booth! Alexander still remembered quite clearly his time on famine and how he had spent much of it mixing ingredients together to make various 'potions'. He approached this booth with a smile, not wasting any time in grabbing some things to put together. He grabbed some fur, he grabbed some sand, and he threw them all together in a bowl.

The smell that permeated from what he'd put together so far was quite foul, but really it was no worse then the zomboil himself smelt on a bad day so he paid it no mind.

Now it was time to add some liquid to what he already had mixed together. He dumped in some dark red liquid from a vial, mixed everything together, and then set it all on a burner.

...Which he then had to ask somebody to light for him because no way in jacking hell he was touching that with a ten foot pole.

Once again Micail thought he would try his luck at the Alchemy booth. Walking up he looked over the ingredients that were offered and chose two. This time he went with some little red vegetables. He had never used them before and looking close at them he figured that if anyone were to try them... they would most likely be spicy. He set them aside then chose the tiny dark grey granules again. He had used those last time and they seemed to work well.

After grabbing what he needed he reached for the heavy bottle that contained the plant smelling liquid. He grabbed it and poured some into a pan then added the rest of his items. Once they were in the pan he placed it over a burner. Once again he had failed and once again his potion smelt like rotting eggs.

"Great..." Well he knew what to do with that. He went a head and poured it into a plant and watched as it slowly began to shrink.

Yin was back to water the plant do some alchemy. He was feeling a bit out of sorts, and he plucked at the bug wings unhappily, eyeing the other ingredients. Finally he sighed and took what looked like powdered bone. That should work.

Not really thinking about it he tried the same combination as the day before. Adding the liquid that looked like blood as well as the oily liquid. There was the same result, a horrible stench filling the air, and a desperate need to get rid of it.

Yin felt bad for the poor plants that were constantly being watered with his failed experiments, but this batch got dumped on them as well.

Senga wasn't sure why he was here, but he... well, he was.

He'd never been a fan of creating things unless they were weapons, and the thought of alchemy didn't exactly sit well in his mind. Still, he steeled himself for whatever was to come and stared doubtfully at the ingredients, leafing through them before selecting a few to attempt to work with.

He had a sinking feeling in his gut that this was a disaster just waiting to happen.

Now... he was supposed to do something with them.

ヽ（´ー｀） Well, it wasn't like anything could go catastrophic, right?

Senga frowned at the result, not entirely sure this was supposed to be the result. Still, he swirled it around in its bottle for a long moment before slinking to the plants. Watering them sounded like a very bad idea, but he wouldn't know what the hell he'd made in the first place unless he tried, right...?

All right then. Let it be her last attempt, - or probably one of the last, thought Heidla. She picked up the smoky leaves, and spicy red peppers, not really hoping for anything particular.

The priestess then added some oil, and fried the mix over the burner. This time she decided to fry the concoction a bit longer, actually almost brewing it instead of frying, but there were no visible changes: the potion again looked - and smelled - like a vaisel vomit.

Well.. you can't teach an old dog new tricks, right?

...Eisheth grinned observing her visitors making some basic mistakes: those Halloweeners, and unfortunately, even her fellow horsemen had no sense of ingredients at all!

She picked up some meat sand and smoky leaves, and mixed them together, showing how to do it properly; that was a master class of some sort.

Making sure the leaves are stretched into tiny pieces, she placed her mix in a little fryer over the pile of hot pebbles. The main idea was to make sure leaves do not resemble the leaves anymore: it should be a perfect powder, otherwise it won't be able to emanate the liquid, and there would be no potion at all.

Frying the mix for roughly a couple of minutes, she removed it, and poured into the vial. That's it, not difficult, right?..

Eisheth also grabbed an empty flask: she might need it later, if she's going to hand out the potions.

Ariane mixed some dark green leaves which smelt of smoke, and some colorless sand which smelt of rotten meat, to get one really stinky mixture. Making a face, she then looked around for something that would help her get a reaction out of the mixture.

Spotting a bottle filled with liquid, she decided to pour a bit of it into the mixture; it smelt like plants, which helped to make her smelly mixture a little less smelly, although it did not cover up the stench completely. She then poured the entire mixture into an empty bowl that was on top of some stones, which was in a box covered in hot sand.

She then watched as a reaction happened, the ingredients forming curds. Still, she was not one to touch these things without protection, and decided to pour the curds into one of the potted plants nearby. It started to smell like smoked ham, even if the smell lasted only for a few seconds... How odd.

Picking up an empty flask, she then left the booth.
