Taken from the RP Guide~

Quote:
Shadow Ulun'suti

Stereotype:
Shadow ulun'suti tend to be creatures of the night. They are often nocturnal and prefer to keep residence where shadows are frequently present. This often leads to them being dubbed the most mysterious of the ulun'suti, though in reality they merely tend towards odd hours and peculiar living arrangements. Those who get to know a shadow ulun'suti may find them to be honourable, disciplined, organized, and resolute in their opinions and beliefs. They are often routine creatures, whom prefer to keep things steady without rocking the figurative boat. While they don't often give their word or make promises, when one is made, you can guarantee a shadow ulun'suti will follow through no matter what.

Powers:

1. Exacerbate: This is an ability both pure and mixed- or half-breed shadow ulun'suti may possess. For up to an hour, a shadow ulun'suti is able to darken the shadows surrounding him, or nearby within a ten foot radius. They can not make them completely darkened, as some light will always get through, but they can exacerbate what is already there. A paler shadow can be darkened to look like the dead of night, while a supremely dark shadow might look almost void of all light and color. The darker the shadow, and the larger the area, the more energy it takes to use.

2. Shadow Form: This is a power granted only to pure shadow ulun'suti. With enough focus and energy, as well as practice, the ulun'suti can create a form out shadows. This isn't an actual creature, though it can be formed to look like something simple. Unlike light ulun'suti, who can produce colors and shapes but without form, the shadow ulun'suti can create actual shadow wisps and shapes. They have no real weight or form, and they have no detail outside of a general shape. They are a shadow type of puppet, and can be no larger than a small ulun'suti itself. (The larger the size, the shorter time it can stay out, and the less control the ulun'suti has upon it.) Some of the more practiced can cause the shadow form to move minimally (i.e. bob its 'head', or move a limb). The shadow creature is partially see through, and does no physical damage to anything, no matter how large or small or strange it might appear. This can be used once, for up to three hours depending on the size of the shadow form. (Large sized shadow forms can only be out for no longer than an hour, and take extensive concentration to control.)

Ririka

thank you, but i was hoping to have him communicate or be able to listen to the "void" the nothingness so that he can relay the contracts to Severa. like how you have to pray or chant in the ritual to summon a brotherhood contract. like he would be able to hear that prayer or something and thought the only way that could even be remotely possible would be if he was angeni ;_;
im asking uta about it... although whenever i ask her advice on plots like this im usually disappointed so my hopes aren't high D,,,:
>-< i just want this to work the way i see it in my head

xD They probably did x3 It would make sense that it poofed back to Sithis x3

Ah I found it. x3 According to the Book in Oblivion (it also shows up in morrowind and skyrim)called Sithis he did create lorkan ouo. I had to look up what Begat meant xD
x I'm going to grab a screen of the 3&4 pages of it too. Sorry about the bad quality Nothing I've tried lets me take a screen shot so I have to use my camera. x.x

But the books seems to suggest sithis made everyone.

Well part of bringing things in to B/C shops is finding ways to mold things in to shop rules.

If anything, a back way in to making things work will be needed. Like, say, hidden alters or something that those who need the Brotherhood's help can pray at. Familiars, or whatever can be stationed at each alter, secretly of course, and when someone who needs a member summoned comes along said familiar can run/fly off to find the closest available member.

If Sithis himself can't be telepathic in anyway, which is something that will have to be accepted, especially since even if the domain for any sort of telepathy was open cosplays can't rule over a domain anyway, there is nothing saying he can't fake it to the best of his ability. XD
Fear can make people believe anything and everything to some level.

yes there are different sides to it, and Sithis the book is very one sided <<'
although the game seems to like to follow the Altmer story. with Lorkhans heart in morrowind, and Akatosh in oblivion, and now the snow elves with Auriel's bow in skyrim all seem to confirm that the Altmer lore actually happened because there a dozens of artifacts to prove it.

it also explains why they hate humans so much. they believe that their blood ancestors were the first spirits, and sithis convinced/tricked them to create the mortal plane.

so the first spirit created Sithis, because he was everything and needed something to be the things that were not there, the void/Sithis what ever you wish to call him.

Sithis invoked change and the two gods Akatosh/anu and sithis/padomay mixed together and made the first original spirits. because when Akatosh formed he created time, so the spirits began to realize they had a past and a future. and one of those spirits was Lorkhan who was closer to padomay than anu and invoked change
so the mortal plane was created and when all the gods realized they were dying they need a way to live on through their children/mer and men although the altmer believe men came from lorkhan, who betrayed/tricked their god ancestors and hate them for it <<'

the Dwemer were trying to find a way back to the plane of the gods and their ancestors and in their attempts to use Lorkhan's heat/ the heart of the world/ they dissapeared from the mortal plane in the attempt to ascend to a higher one
so i think they are in the void with sithis xD

yeah i thought if nothing else he could just bull s**t it xD telepathy was another option, or him just being crazy ._. but i wanted to avoid that. unseen familiars is a good idea, but because Sithis cant be publicly worshiped and they are a secret society, designated alter's was something i wanted to avoid because of reasons. thats y most ppl set up the ritual wherever they can.

Sweet mother, sweet mother
send your child unto me
so the sins of the unworthy
may be baptized in blood and fear

maybe they can just keep chanting untill someone finds them xD

I'd assume so there aren't credits anywhere else and the book doesn't say anonymous under the name in the tittle page. Honestly I just when through a bunch of books on my oblivion save, and I cant find anything else like that bit of text at the end of Sithis.

:/ yeah, unless it was written by him It could be that Daedra sign their books at the end and not the beginning like the Tamrelic races. The books seems rare to. there are only two copies laying around in Oblivion and in Skyrim two of the the four are in the Dark brotherhood sanctuaries.
