SubonicXP Blizzard120 Furthermore, what really got me is the next thing that Wulfric said. "Telia? Could...Mega Evolve?" Mind...blown... Wulfric would nod in response, smiling the whole while. "Yes, she can. If you wish to learn more about Mega Evolution, perhaps even unlock your Pokemon's hidden power as well, then you should visit the Tower of Mastery. Shalour City is where you will find it." Wulfric explained. "I'll make it a note to go there before going back home to Jhoto..." I said. The whole notion just threw me for a loop. Suddenly, the intimidation started to all catch up with me - Weavile just managed to hold his own against a monstrosity of a Abomasnow...the presence that I felt from it, near staggering. A cough out of Weavile managed to snap me out of the trance. "...first things first though..." I managed to get back up. "...I got to help you out first. Wulfric, that battle was really something else. I'm real glad that you brought something like Mega Evolution to my attention. It's what I came here for..." I said. A lie, sure, but still, something I didn't know the first thing of, which still makes me glad that I found out about it, even if it was the hard way.

"Though I should apologize for asking you to battle me." The leader said in a rather uncharacteristic gloomy voice. "I may have made your time here even more difficult. Regardless, I need to get back to the gym, have some trainers coming tomorrow. I hope we meet again, Strange One!" With that said, Wulfric walked away, back towards the chateau and eventually disappeared inside.

I wasn't worried on what difficulty I would be facing. If that warranted another title promotion, then that was one step closer to reaching my goal. If it's about the damage he and I brought about here on this battlefield...well, that's the price one pays for allowing a mansion and what property the mansion sits on as a battlefield for many Pokemon battles. "Come on, Weavile...let's get you looked over." I said, making my way off back into the mansion as well, back for what I guess is now my assigned room.

No one would bother Blizzard on the way back, actually they all seemed gone except for the occasional maid here and there. Once Blizzard made it back to his room he would find his own maid waiting outside the door, holding what seemed to be a silk robe. "Sir Blizzard, I am glad to see you return. How was your battle? I have fetched a robe for the master if he would care to get comfortable and relax for the rest of the evening." She said, offering Blizzard the robe.

As I walked through the halls once more, it was a lot quieter...the hushed spite and the tension from a hybrid walking their halls. The butlers and maids were still around, but only few in number. I suppose everyone else turned in early. The sun just have finally gone away by the time Wulfric and I concluded our battle; do these people have nothing better to do and just simply go to bed this early in the evening? Yeech... I made it back to what was I suppose my assigned room, finding Lavern there, robe in hand. "Um...you think that robe would fit?" I asked, slightly putting out the wings just to make my point, saying a bit of a laugh. I'll be honest, I'm still not used to having someone wait on me like this. "It's fine either way though. Actually...I hate to keep troubling you like this Ms. Lavern...before dinner, I had a run-in with a butler that gave my Scizor a bit of a hard time, and my battle with Wulfric was...well...a matter of clash of the titans as it were." I said, looking back down at Weavile in my arms. "I won the battle in the end, but...well, I can see why such a man is a gym leader, for sure. He is...something else."

Oh master Blizzard, your time here is going to get much worse."

Oh master Blizzard, your time here is going to get much worse." "..." First Wulfric, now Lavern? "So...I have been told..." I rubbed the back of my head, now a bit on the confused side. Sure I was wanting to bring attention to myself, if for anything, to take on the likes of Wikstrom and such, but...suddenly I think I did my job a bit too well. The way she's acting in particular, I was the harbinger of Armageddon... "Just exactly...what am I expecting to deal with now?" I asked.

"Master Wulfric is a Marquis, the third highest rank possible with the second highest reserved for the Elite Four and those that beat them, and the highest rank reserved for the Champion and those that beat them. You, master Blizzard, are an Earl. As it stands you shouldn't be allowed to face Master Wulfric, a gym leader. Ordinarily yes, you could face a Marquis as you are only one rank below. However, facing a gym leader here in the chateau, especially one as high standing as Wulfric, is normally reserved for other Marquis or higher. No one beneath Marquis has battled a gym leader before in this chateau, no one. While it is not a rule per se, it is an understood custom that you must work your way up to face the gym leader outside of their gym." Lavern explained.

Such an invitation is suppose to be seen as an act of bestowing grace on the trainer. Wulfric is already not a favorite here at the chateau, as you probably have seen. Many of the patrons here do not like his disregard for the old order and customs. Though they have no power to do anything against the most powerful gym leader in the land. You however..." She said, her voice trailing off. "They will make things very hard for you, sire."

I don't see it getting any worse than a extra snide comment or two. If they really want me out of here, they can do it the hard way just like everyone else here...at least they can try. I can honestly see where Wulfric is coming from for sure now." I said. "It's a view that I can actually share with him. As off as he is, he really has a keen insight on a lot of things...insight that a lot of people here in this mansion would rather remain ignorant to. There are worse things to fear than a few stuck-up people..." Something then occurred to me and I then gave a sigh. I then started to look Weavile over, taking off my pack and started to go through it for supplies to help Weavile out. "Ms. Lavern, if this is going to be too much for you to hang around with me like you have, I understand. The general opinion and any potential backlash of others in this mansion are not going to phase me in the least bit, but personally, I rather the others take it out on me, and not out on you. A few people here I pretty much can peg for doing such a thing eventually."

"You're hurt, just shut up while I fix you up." It warranted a toothy, yet weary grin, out of Weavile.
