Deep Kiss of Winter.

Conrad smiled and made some soup for her to have then returned to her. "Are you still awake?" He asked knocking on the door to see if she would answer. He was happy she wasn't hurt, that she was stable and settled. "I'm here."

Alyson sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Yeah. I was almost asleep though." she mumbled. "What does Koeri mean?" she asked, getting right to what she wanted to know.

Conrad blushed deeply and handed her the soup in a cup. "I. . .It. . . It mean lure." He said blushing darkly. "I. . ." He couldn't speak the cotton had returned to his throat. "I told you, I have feelings for you. I just didn't realise how much until they took you." He smiled and hugged her just a little. So he didn't crowd her.

Alyson frowned, and wrinkled her nose. "I don't like the name. Makes me feel like fishing bait." she said before blowing lightly on the soup in her hands. She didn't mind the hug though. After being kidnapped, the hug was nice, and she leaned into it a bit.

He smiled softly and sat with her holding her a bit knowing she needed it. Conrad smiled. "Would you like me to call you something else?" He asked gently stroking a shoulder. "You can pick something if you like." He was back to his old self. His kindness toward her unfailing.

Alyson shrugged. "Before I died, my friends called me Ally." she said, not really seeing why he needed to call her a nickname. She slurped her soup, wanting to finish so she could go to sleep. Her eyes still stung from the gas. She'd take a shower tomorrow. That should help if she was still feeling the effects of it.

"All right." He said smiling. "Ally. Would you like me to get you a wet flannel for your eyes?" He asked noticing her eyes were still a little red. If she preferred him to stay close to her though he'd not move until she wanted him to leave.

Ally smiled. "That'd be wonderful. Once I'm done eating though, okay?" she said softly, continuing to slurp at her soup. She was about halfway done already.

Conrad smiled softly and stayed with her. "All right I'll stay with you until you're ready." He said gently rubbing her arm to reassure her. He didn't want her to get upset or anything like that. He didn't want her worried or anything like that.

Alyson finished eating her soup, and put the bowl down before yawning. "Could you get that thing for my eyes now?" she asked sleepily. She was very tired. Her full stomach only added to the sleepy feeling.

Conrad smiled softly and got that wet flannel and and returned gently washing out her eyes and washed her face. So at least then she could sleep. "Is that feeling better?" He asked smiling.

Alyson smiled and sighed as she felt the cool, wet, flannel on her eyes. "That feels wonderful." she murmured.

Conrad smiled at her as he used the water to soothe her pain. Yes as an Immortal she healed fast but it didn't mean it wasn't painful. "There." He said taking the dirty flannel away. "Your eyes look better already." He smiled kindly. "Is it helping?"

Alyson sighed. "Mmhmm." she hummed out, already starting to fall asleep. It wouldn't be long until she was completely out.

Conrad smiled and laid her down properly in the bed tucking her in and kissed her cheek. "Sleep Ally." He whispered. "I'll be here when you wake." He added taking the dirty cloth and the cup and left once she was asleep.
