"Yeah it's fine, just park there on the curb...I know people can see me through the window, everything will be fine if you keep your eyes out of the damn mirror and on the road!" Carmen snapped at the taxi driver, one spiked wedge heeled boot pressed into the back end of the driver's seat as she tore off the oversized sweater she'd spent the last twelve hour flight in. In only a purple laced bra, the dancer tossed the old material onto an open satchel and exchanged it for a bustier top. She pushed her chest forward to pull it over her head and shimmy it into the right position. She didn't need to look up to notice the gaze on her. Manicured fingers irritably pushed mounds of hair out of her face. "Mind getting my bag out of the trunk?" She asked, glaring as her words slithered forth in a hiss. Damn, you'd think he hadn't had tail in years. The woman rolled her eyes, waiting until the driver's door had shut before and pushed her upper body back and her lower body forward, wiggling out of her jeans and into something a lot shorter. It was compensated by her over the knee boots, just in case the cold was nipping harder than she estimated. Despite being so irate, she was actually flustered. Hurricane by Panic! At the Disco played over the radio as she brushed her hair into a high ponytail and let it splay down to her shoulders. She propped up her boot once more, glancing over as her driver opened the door while she zipped her boots. The female huffed, turing to claw through her purse and hand him what she owed him on her way out. The door closed immediately behind her, leaving the bluenette shuffling on her coat and holding a cell phone to her ear with her shoulder as it sped off. It was cold, but not enough to zip the coat. She placed on her shades and earrings as the phone rang and was answered. "Hi! So...I'm here! It's beautiful, small, but still nice. Can you believe it, the place doesn't even have a studio." She rambled to her once estranged uncle. He could tell she was nervous, but it had only been two weeks since she made contact with her half sibling. Now she was meeting him, or she was planning to. He did say 'you should visit one day' and she'd hopped on a plane without further warning. In fact, she took it a step further...and bought a house on then island. "Stupid, stupid, stupid!" She wailed, smacking herself on her brow several times as she sniffled and wrinkled her red tipped nose. "Not you, I'm sorry! Im just really, really nervous. Can you text me the address again?" The conversation ended a short while later as she stood with a suitcase on wheels, a satchel stuffed with clothes, her purse, and her cell phone in hand. There it was. Lumiere...was that close to here? Carmen paled, dropping her arm as she groaned at the sky. "You dumbass, why didn't you take the taxi to the actual address?!?!"

Lysander gave a heavy sigh as he walked out his front door, turning towards the door and closing it behind him. He had been in a strange funk the last few days, overwhelmed by everything that had been going on within his family. For once, he had blown up at his sister for a reasonable reason instead of his normal selfish reasons. If course, not before being beaten senseless by her. He felt immeasurable shame for having to have Tyrese intervene between them. With the way he was looking? How could he even think about getting between their fights? Of course, what bothered him the most about it was the fact that she had damn near lost her s**t at her own daughter's birthday! It was supposed to be a special day for her child, and yet she had spent time trying to attack him any chance she got. A heavy sigh through his nose and the young half demon was staring at the keys in his hand. Maybe he was just tired of being a victim to circumstance. Sure, he created most of it, but when he didn't? Now he had no sister. No husband. While he was baffled that somehow he and Tyrese, former enemies, were now on a somewhat friendly basis, he was actually kinda glad. But really, all he wanted was the silence to go away.
Turning from the door, he juggled his keys in one hand as he walked down to the sidewalk of Lumiere. He could take his expensive car out instead of walking, but really, he just felt too tired to be driving. Dropping his keys into his pocket, Lysander licked his lips as he made his way into Uptown with a neutral expression on his face. He loved his sister, and would continue to do so forever, but she was freaking insane! Staring down at his feet as he walked, he only brought his head up when he heard shouting coming from not too far off. A woman with blue hair seemed to be in a bit of a frustrating predicament, from the way she was shouting anyways. Blinking his ruby eyes, Lysander couldn't help a feeling of deja vu that overtook him, quickly shaking it aside as he chuckled to himself softly. Straightening his posture a bit, he shifted his weight to one leg and smirked in her direction. "Perhaps shouting isn't the best way to get what you want from a public driver, ya know? Plus, you wouldn't want to ruin your pretty face with wrinkles already," he said, an obvious teasing tone to his words.

Carmen decided to use her gps and walk where she needed to go, it would only take maybe half an hour and would defiantly save her money. "Here goes!" She thought, readjusting the strap of her satchel on her shoulder as she turned. She immediacy almost collided with a tall blonde, her steps stuttering to stop her just in time. Her eyes widdened and darted up to his face in realization of there being a person who was occupying that space. The look was quick to disappear as he spoke, both her brows rising before she rolled her eyes. How long had this guy been standing here, long enough to have seen her change clothes? Pervert. Adjusting her purse this time, she leaned to the left to see the winding sidewalk behind the stranger. She peered up at his face and pointed where he gaze had just been. "Excusez-moi, I need to get to that side of the sidewalk. Mind stepping aside?" She asked quite simply, her hand on her hip until she stood upright again. She had to look up to see his face, which she had to do with most people. He looked like he belonged on this side of town, he was as expensive looking as the other people and the architecture. Lumiere was apparently the rich part of town, and her brother lived in it. "Oh, and, thanks for your concern over my wrinkles, but you don't need to worry. You might get a gray hair." She smirked back with a small hint of satisfaction, bouncing along past him with her things. Why did he seem vaguely familiar? The dancer froze in her steps, eyes wide before she hurdled around to face the blonde man. "Excuse me again...do you know if this is the way to Lumiere? I'm new here so I'm a teensy bit lost."
