I-I-I want you
Despite the fact that she wore not one, but three layers of clothing, April still shivered; muscles contracting violently to allow warmth to slowly creep back into her frozen body. Damn! She hated the cold. Not to mention the rain, whose drops continued to find their way through her umbrella and soak into her clothes. Add those two together, and you had the girl's worst weather conditions. She wanted to be inside--well, when did she not?-- and away from this accursed rain and nipping cold. Perhaps she should begin looking into hibernation: she would never again have to deal with the cold. But, alas, her body was not capable of such lengthened sleep, nor could she consume the fast amounts of food needed to go into hibernation. No, the best she could do was to stay indoors as much as possible; making a quick appearance in the 'outside world' for the necessities. Like food, or video games, or work. It was amazing how many thoughts ran through one's head just during a simple walk, though the woman could only guess the amount might increase, if she weren't currently distracted. Bright purple headphones were situated comfortably on top of her head, its music pouring directly into her ears. The sound was overwhelming, it certainly allowed her to block out the natural background music and substitute it with her own. It was dangerous, loud music led to eventual hearing loss, but it was an addiction she could quite kick. To overwhelm yourself with music, allowing its lyrics and tune wash over your body. It was completely, and utterly soothing.
While April continued to play around with different ideas on how to avoid the cold, her body was on autopilot. The outsoles of her shoes barely touched the ground, and she was quick to dart out of the way of any approaching puddles; the feeling of water seeping through her shoes to create soaking wet socks was an unpleasant situation, and one she was eager to avoid altogether. Absentmindedly, her fingers ran over the grooves and design of her umbrella; its bumpy surface rubbing against the skin. As far as rain gear and overall protection went, this was her favorite item. It was totally worth that fifteen dollars and twenty-nine cent, plus tax.
Speaking of umbrellas: the girl in front of her didn't seem to have one. Bright green hues drew languidly over the girl, taking in her rather drenched appearance. April sucked in air, ignoring the sting the crisp air brought to her lungs, and continued her inspection above the blaring music in her ears. A good Samaritan would probably help the girl out, maybe even offer to share their umbrella. And she was one of those, wasn't she? After a few moments more--enough time for her current song to die out with a final wail and cry of a guitar-- she quickened her pace. One hand slide from off the handle of her umbrella, pushing three different tops to reach her phone and pause her music; returning the brunette to the muffled version of the real world. Her lips parted the same moment she slid her headphones downwards to rest around her neck. "Hey, uh, you there." her umbrella was thrust forward, providing at least a bit of shelter towards the stranger. Ignoring her own, awkward start, she continued on. "You know that's not a very smart thing to do: walking around the rain without an umbrella? You could catch a cold."

She'd been running since her front door, she should be okay to walk now. Closer than she was twenty minutes ago, she shouldn't be late. Not that her boss would fire her even if she was. That old, perverted manager was too afraid of her. She didn't rule the roost, but her coworkers were scared of her anger that's for sure. When you rip out appliances to try and hurl at customers, people tend to be afraid of you. But, that was only when she was angry. Otherwise she was rather collected and nice. Even a little dorky. Placing her hands on her knees, she panted heavily trying to catch her breath. "Oh dear knight..." she breathed as a hand came to her chest. She could have better cardio than this, she danced for a damn living! Well, not for a living but all her off time was dancing, singing and cooking. And apparently dating boys. Devi immediately straightened. She wasn't dating Andrew! Ruby eyes narrowed at her own thoughts as they teased her. She just went to the ball with him; it wasn't a date! Just because they went together, doesn't mean it was a damn date! They just went as friends and only danced once. It was no big deal! Although, the fact they won second place in some 'Cutest Couple' contest was beyond her. "We're not a damn couple!" she shouted in the middle of the street, earning stares from onlookers. "What are you looking at!?" she shouted angrily, causing them all to look away immediately. Growling to herself and grinding her teeth, she stomped off down the street, trying to make her way to work.

Ah the loss...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Previously being now on the run from the authorities, from invading a couples house, and draining them all dry, came the same slightly insane vamp who had attacked that girl earlier on. She hadn't gotten her full feast from both the poor innocent soul and the couple. She needed more. Blood just was an intoxicating aroma to her. Even the drip of it causes a nerve inside of her to tick. She somehow just couldn't break the curse of wanting to feed. It seemed incredibly hard. It's like trying to give up smoking. You try a few times but somehow it brings you back. Though with vampires it's a little more harder to resist the urge.
Aleisha sighed almost happily to herself, with both hands shoved in her pockets. Her face was covered by the shadows of her hair. She was returning to her little nesting to rest off the day. Before she could find it, her ears had been drawn to the sound of a female yelling to herself then to some people staring at her. Tilting her head and smiling, she started to follow this individual from behind. With both her eyes glowing to the scent that this disturbed girl gave. I've lost it!

Like I'm supposed to believe that," she grumbled to herself as she walked down the street, her heels echoing against the pavement. She didn't even like guys! Well, she...Ugh! It was too complicated to explain. Her fingers came to her lips, grazing over the flesh softly. She'd never been kissed like that before. The only times she had ever been kissed...Devi's jaw tensed. Ever since last night, she hadn't been able to stop thinking about it. She wanted nothing more than to forget about it, but it was so hard when she was so young and it took up a year of her life. She was eleven! Since then, she had never let another person touch her in any type of fashion. No hugs. Barely any hand shakes. And for damn sure no kisses! But with Andrew...It must have just been the romance filled air. That's all it was. She didn't actually like him as more than a friend. "Huh?" Devi brought her head up and looked over her shoulder. It felt like someone was watching her. Looking around, it was hard to tell if someone was looking at her or not with so many people around. It was downtown after all. Shrugging, she turned forward and continued forward, anxiously biting into her cheek. What was she supposed to do?

Ah the loss...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ For some particular reason, she targeted this troubled girl for the aroma that was being given off. Someone who seemed anxious or angry made the whole desire to drain them dry or become interested by them really peeked her mind. Sure she could find many lost souls who are disturbed over something but they didn't cut it. Mainly because a lot of them were in the depths of the city where all the cops had eyes on. Here in downtown it was a little different. No one really payed attention to what happens. So to her this was the best hunting ground.
She side stepped a few times to pass each person that came by, shivering slightly at the smell of their blood. God damn the smell was hard to resist. She walked a little faster before appearing right behind her. All she had to do was now grab and pull her into one of the alleys where no one would know what was going on. Contemplating the thought she had two options. Risk and grab her now or try and be a little more seducing. Let's go with B. She walked right beside the girl, with her hand sliding across the human's shoulder, smiling all the way, she showed off a few 'features' before moving away in a luring walk. I've lost it!

It's not like she was going to miraculously forget about the past when she was getting so close to someone that might actually lead somewhere. But who wouldn't want to forget something like that? And at such a young age. Devi shoved her hands into her jacket pockets as she dropped her head to look at the ground. Hn. He was probably just trying to get into her pants. Romance her a little. Tell her a few nice things and she'd be putty in his hands. Use and abuse her...Just like everyone else. Ruby eyes looked up as she felt a sudden arm on her shoulders. "What the-" she hissed, but before her words could even finish, they were gone. What gave then the right to touch her?! Her eyes narrowed dangerously. She may not know how to fight, but she knew how to throw a punch and she was dangerous when angry. Following after them, she shouted obscenities at the woman who touched her. It didn't matter to her what gender or race they were. Don't. Touch. Her. That was her one rule. She just didn't want people touching her anymore. "Hey!" she shouted after her. "What the hell did you touch me for?!"

Ah the loss...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ When the girl shouted at her, Aleisha could only smile before fastening her pace of walk. She looked over her shoulder for a second to see that the idea of luring her did not work. But having her pissed off and wanting to know what's with her actions well it had to do. Now the tricky part was leading her into the alleys. Usually someone who followed her like this would break pursuit when they realized it was a trap. Perhaps this girl would think otherwise.
She spotted one of the darker spots of downtown. An alleyway where soon enough she broke into laughter. Shortly after she started to run from the girl. This was turning out to be a cat and mouse game. Though really she was not the mouse but who cares. Still fun to do all this. She neared the entrance and now looking back, she eyed the human down before backing her way up, making it look like she was cornered. I've lost it!

"Dammit!" she hissed through gritted teeth as she missed. Just because she had a bad anger problem didn't mean she knew a single thing about fighting of any kind. She was just an angry teen. Of course, she had every right to be, but still, that's all she was. She was a girl with one too many anger issues to count on one hand alone. Why was she running into an alley? There was no escape down that alley. Devi knew because she made sure to avoid it on a regular basis if she was out in downtown at night. However, it seemed to work in her favor today. Sliding around the corner to block the mouth of the alley, she glared murderously at the woman. Slamming her fist against the building to her right, she instantly felt pain surge through her, her knuckles beginning to bleed from the bricks. "What the hell gave you the right to touch me?" she asked lowly, doing all she could not to rip the girl's throat out.

Ah the loss...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Her back started to get closer and closer to the back wall of the alley. She tried her best to hide her true intentions until the timing was right. Both her eyes gave off a slight glow though trying her best, she tried to not show what she was. Two ways to know a vampire, one fangs and two the eyes. They can be a dead give away if they illuminate and show extreme lust in them. It was hard for her to hide this due to the blood coursing through the air but she tried none the less.
Pretending to cower like some lost little girl, she gave off what was a pouting look. "Don't hurt me miss...I'm just a poor little girl whose lost their way." She could feel the urge to laugh right now at her cute tone of voice. Her intentions were really high to attack her now but she had to wait. Wait till she was close enough to make the strike and perhaps try and grasp her lips on the girl. She hadn't done anything 'interesting' in a while. I've lost it!

Little was hardly the word she would use for her, but alright. Bringing her hand away from the wall, she cracked her knuckles, turning her gaze away from her for a moment. Her right hand trembled with pain, blood dripping between her knuckles. Wonderful. It's a good thing she didn't work with the food at her work. All she had to do was press a few button on a cash register and bring people their food. She could use her left hand for that. It hurt just to close her hand into a fist. "Damn..." she whispered to herself. Looking back up at her, she shook off the pain and walked into the alley. She wanted answers! She didn't care if she was late to work now. Until she got her answers she wasn't leaving! "I won't ask again," she hissed through gritted teeth. "Answer my damn question!"

Ah the loss...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ "Oh this is so damn good." Thinking to herself. This feed was going to be probably the best so far. Anger and hopefully fear oh the combination just was impeccable. Her eyes were trying to reassert themselves back to showing off the glowing flare again. This girl was making this even more harder for Aleisha to contain herself. It was definitely going to be a fun time draining her dry. Hopefully though she won't be one of those screamers. Oh god she hated those who would screech so high that someone would hear. Last time that happen she couldn't even finish her victim. Damn human wouldn't stop it. It pierced her eardrums. Although it may not of been human. A banshee has those capabilities of producing high pitch squeals. Well who knows.
Back on track she lowered herself a little further before pressing herself now fully up against the wall. She watched the girl come closer and closer. When she was in her grasp, the vampire lunged and spun her to the wall with one hand over the woman's mouth. "Alright I'll answer your question." She grabbed the wrist of the girl where the blood seeped out. Shivering some more at the smell, she trailed her tongue along the hand of the trapped girl, tasting the blood. Her eyes instantly shone at the taste and before she could continue, her fangs extended where she then bared them at the girls face. "Because I am allowed to." A giggle escaped her before she leaned up to the others neck, grazing her fangs along her throat. I've lost it!

This sucked! What she would do for some sort of cover. Her hair was going to be a mess after this and who knows how long it would take to get the smell of rain out of her clothes. Mai sighed to herself as she continued traversing the streets. And as if her prayers were answered, the rain suddenly stopped. Mai looked up at her surroundings confused, what was going on exactly? She still saw the rain but suddenly she was dry. H-huh? What the... She managed to stutter before a voice came from behind her. Mai was so caught off-guard she almost jumped out of her skin! Mai turned her head back slowly, what if it was some rapist or some creepy guy who was thinking he was smooth. She grimaced at the thought.
Thankfully the person behind her was a brunette girl who didn't seem like some sort of crazy person. Mai's eyes got big and she began to tear up slightly, what a savior! She quickly wrapped her arms around the girl and pulled her into a bear hug. Whaaa~ Thank you! You're so kind to a stranger like me! She exclaimed in a cartoonish manner. Mai was never good with peoples personal space which tended to get her into these type of situations. After a few seconds, Mai let go of the girl and wiped her teary eyes. She didn't want the girl to think that she was sad so she smiled brightly, giving a giggle. Sorry! I got a little carried away! I'm Mai Yoemon. Nice to meet you! She said, getting right into the introduction and skipping anything else. Mai was just happy to be out of the rain for the moment.╚☯═══════════════════════════════════════════════╝ OOC:

What?! Grunting as her back hit the wall, she looked up at her, surprised to see her eyes fully ablaze now. What was she? No human had eyes that could glow like that! Devi could feel her heart slam against her chest in fear and nervousness. What was she planning on doing to her. Wincing lightly as her injured wrist was grabbed, she steadily watched as she mentally forced her body to stop trembling. She may not know what's going on, but she shouldn't-Her eyes widened, gasping in shock. No! No! Please, no more nightmares! Images flashed in her mind; things she didn't want to see. Not even registering the fangs being bared at her, she swallowed the lump in her throat, that gradually became harder to do as she felt lips on her neck. No! Devi squeezed her eyes shut, tears suddenly falling. She wasn't necessarily scared of the situation she was in, but more of the images that seemed to spring to life full force and remind her of a past that she thought she buried years ago. She was still scared of her current situation. Who wouldn't be when some crazy lady with fangs was at your neck? Devi mumbled something from behind her hand, trying to get her attention.

Ah the loss...
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ So many things had started to travel throughout Aleisha's mind. For instance should she take her time with this girl. Make it slow and savoring or should she just violently sink her fangs into the throat of this poor soul. Decisions, decisions... Why can't they just be an easy pick. Perhaps with her mind and all she always fantasized on how her victims should die. Did they deserve a quick one or not. No this one did not. She wanted to have this moment last long. She would not care if a huge amount of pain was caused. She was hungry and full of lust.
She could feel the breath of the girl on her own hand, then she could hear the sound of mumbling just the same. Perhaps she should hear what was to be said before the girl's life was sucked out of her. Literally. Dragging her tongue up the side of her neck, she moved her lips to the back of her hand that submerged the others mouth. She slid her hand away to give what this desperate person wanted. "What is it my sweet?" She cooed with a smile. "Answer my question!" She pretty much just mimicked what had been spoken by her earlier though it was asked with a more mocking tone. I've lost it!

April waited patiently for the girl to take notice of her presence, shifting uncomfortably as rain began to fall onto her left side, soaking her coat and causing the fabric to darken with each drop of rain. Bright green eyes widened, and lips pursed curiously. "Sorry." the apology escaped her lips before the action could even truly cross her mind. She hadn't meant to scare the girl. Though, when she thought about it, her sudden appearance was probable cause for the other to jump. Perhaps next time she'd call out to a stranger before approaching them. "I was just... trying to help." her explanation was awkward at best, and interlaced with a pause and hesitance. Ah, the social interactions that occurred within the outernet; it was a quest she'd yet to complete.
While the brunette continued to internally fidget, her gaze remained steadily on the blonde in front of her. Thin eyebrows were drawn in, and her perplexed look had become a near permanent expression on her face. It fell way to surprise, however, when the girl turned to her; eyes shining with tears. "Look, if I scared you. I really didn't mean--" her own rushed explanation slash apology was interrupted by the feeling of another body pressed against her. April stiffened at the feel of physical contact, taking in an involuntary inhale of air. Though it was an ineffective move on her part, for in that next moment she found that same air driven out of her. For such a small girl, she had a lot of strength-- or maybe she herself was just that weak. "Uh... you're welcome?" she struggled to get the words out, and it was with great relief that the girl finally relinquished her grip on her.
April breathed in deeply, filling her lungs with the oxygen that had just been forced out of her. "You don't make a habit of hugging strangers, do you?" it was the first question that came to mind, and given the awkward situation she'd just been in, was rather appropriate. "Because that really isn't safe." she brunette shifted once more, pulling herself away from the rain. An eyebrow was lifted, betraying her surprise once more. It felt as if she was jumping from one emotion to the next. "Nice to meet you, Mai. I'm April Shaye." the umbrella was once again tilted in the other's direction. "So, is there any particular reason you chose to walk around without an umbrella?"
