The GoC infiltration team had acted quickly after the sudden alarms, but not all of the explosions went off as planned. The room was filling with Orb soldiers and Lacus Clyne was surrounded by Zaft soldiers, decreasing the chance to complete their objectives. As some retreated with President Parks, a few tried to run and take out the Chairwoman, but Orb soliders gunned them down before they could even see the pink of her hair. They retreated into a corridor ending at an airlock, and opened it to enter their shuttle for extraction. Once the last member, Flay Allster, entered they closed off the door, they signaled the Thixo and their Taeru pilots for protection during their transit.

Ryuu was helping those left outside back into the airlock when the radio he had crackled with the Captain's voice. He pulled it up to respond. "Yes, but shouldn't the ci-" he was cut off as the Captain continued. "Yes sir?" it was in a questionable manner as he didn't know section E3 had consoles of any sort. It was just another flat area they stored materials during the construction of the first Fujin, just a floor that stretched between the deep well the Uzumi sat in and the large wall that ran horizontal to the ship on the opposite side. Sure enough, there was a small console on the wall. He pulled out the file he had, and rummaged through it for the first time since he seen it. "What the hell."
It wasn't the Tearu, the Astray or the Murasame. The model shown on the paper clearly was nothing of a mass production unit. Even the acronym on the bottom of the page showed it's true identity; Gundam. He flipped through the papers showing the models themselves, weapon systems, control systems and cockpits. "These... What the hell has Morgenroete done?!" He was more confused than ever, since the only model talked about was the Taeru, but now there were four more right in his face. On the back he found a page with just a simple string of letters and numbers at the top, figuring it was the code the Captain mentioned, Now, Ryuu wondered why Hazuko knew and how he was able to receive these plans.

With the shock of his experience, he gets shaky when piloting a mobile suit. He also holds a grudge against Blue Cosmos for his parent's death. Joseph Mikail wasn't exactly an ace pilot like the majority of the ghosts, and didn't have much experience in actual combat. However, he was the highest ranking officer of the organization when they retreated from their pure world. So, he was curious how well the operation would go once it was underway, but when they were beaten to the punch by the savage Zala Loyalists. They just wouldn't give up, even after the very man they claimed loyalty to was dead and gone. At least the Ghosts knew they had to be better than their past, or they'd end up just like them. Joseph moved from his relaxed position, clenching the chair's arms. "Damn Coordinators!" he yelled before looking to Captain Asahina.
"Don't let them steal those units! Kill every last one of them!" He turned and faced the crew on the bridge, completely bypassing the Captain as he yelled another order; "Order our Taeru pilots to return now! We won't lose that data!" A crewman on the side spoke up; "Infiltration team's signalling for their retrieval, they've got the President! Redirect the Taeru to it?""WHAT?! Those idiots!" Joseph was getting to the point his hand was starting to bleed from clenching the arm too hard. "Fine. Send the Strike Sabers out to cover their retreat. Get those Taeru in here now!" He pulled himself back into the chair, furious at how wrong the situation has become.
Name: Joseph Mikail (29) Genetic Type: Natural Rank: Supreme Commander of Cosmos Position: Ghost of Cosmos Leader Background: One of the last high members of Blue Cosmos, Joseph Mikail was to be put on trial for his crimes as a Logos/Blue Cosmos member, but was able to escape before being arrested or attacked by mobs. He met with some lower members of Logos and they retreated into the debris belt as the second war ended. When Librarian Works acted, he took advantage of the aftermath and gathered up the remaining Logos sympathizers he could, as well as obtaining the carbon human and cloning technologies of Librarian Works. With these, he was able to raise their military force as well as declaring them the Ghost of Cosmos. He despises Coordinators for their abilities, believing that they flaunt their improved skills over Naturals.

Yaichiro kept helping give cover fire until the order for surviving pilots to report elsewhere came through. He was thankful the the blooding from his head had stopped, the injury being minor and tolerable. He only had a mild headache...nothing he couldn't power through. He received the order to head to the E3 section and arrived...to see Ryuu at a hidden monitor. He didn't point his weapon, but he kept it ready to aim and fire...
"Lt. JG Kage, Taeru Pilot 15, reporting as ordered by the Commander. Please forgive my keeping a captured enemy weapon at the ready, but my service pistol was inferior. Can you...please explain your current activity, Sir? It could be interpreted as suspicious." Yaichiro eyed his superior, seeing him at some hidden console, but stayed respectful. Sky blue eyes contrasted the red on his face and hair, as well as the blood splattered on the captured gun. If the Lieutenant went to draw his weapon in hostility, Yaichiro was prepared to consider him a rogue and dispatch him...but he made sure not to jump to conclusions.

He proved to be a good all-purpose pilot, having a predisposition for ranged combat but refusing to let his melee skills suffer as a result. Ryuu had been flipping through the pages, deciphering which unit used what weapons and such when someone approached him. Ryuu set his hand on his pistol, ready in case he was a rogue. The pilot gave his rank and unit, one of the downed Taeru's. "I could say the same about you, but I know the commander didn't send me here for data. Lieutenant Taiki, XO of the Uzumi, served under Hazuko for years." Ryuu glanced up and saw the Taeru pilots turning away from the area and for the side of the shipyard, most likely to retreat. "I don't know your affiliation, but I doubt you're with them if you have that injury."
Ryuu turned his attention back to the file and the console, finding the activation codes for each one before typing into the console the code. "I dom't even know what i'm doing myself. Whether you're a traitor or not, we're all about to be a see something we wish we didn't."

"I'm Orb through and through, assigned to the Uzumi Nara as well. I guess that makes you my direct superior. I was in salute with pilots 11 through 20 when the chaos started. I got blown clear and knocked out for a bit when I was smashed into a maintenance cart, but a bunch of the others weren't so lucky judging from what I found waking up. I grabbed this weapon from an enemy corpse and provided what support fire I could while trying to get to a machine. Wound up protecting Chairwoman Clyne's group a bit until the call came through to come here." Yaichiro stated, explaining his own situation. He kept his weapon raised, but shifted to a general alert stance rather than one suspicious of Ryuu. As for Ryuu's comment, he raised an eyebrow.
"Above and beyond all this? That sounds like a disaster waiting in the wings, but I guess we'll just have to deal."

The escort ships from the three factions launched all their mobile suits by the time the GoC suits flew out from behind the umbrella. Even with the numbers advantage, the escort ships and their mobile suits had difficulty holding back their approach. Mobile suits seemed to be destroyed with each shot, but the GoC pilots reacted faster, some being extendeds and carbon-humans of past aces. The escorts were surviving, but being pushed back. Zakus and Dagger Ls could only perform on par with the units fielded by the GoC, and sub par against the Strike Sabers. Once the Thixo launched its Strike Sabers, they quickly flew to protect the shuttle carrying the President and GoC infiltrators as it flew toward the invisible Thixo.
The enemy mobile suits continued there direct assault towards the Uzumi Nara. Natalie analyzed the different situations that were happening at once on the monitor.
"Re-target the gottfrieds, FIRE!"

The second in coming Gottfried destroyed one of her fellow comrades. Her screen showed 1 of the units in her squad vanish. Emiri looked back on her 3rd monitor to see the Cortz mobile suit get cross in blast.
"NOO Frank! Damn you bastards!" Emiri quickly aimed her beam rifle at the Uzumi Nara and fired a couple shots only to be met with its strong Laminated Armor.

Emiri defected to the Zala Loyalist after Lacus took power. She has strong feelings against any natural due to the fact that both her parents died during the attack from Requiem. She believes Lacus didn't get enough Justice for the people that died from the Requiem attacks. The in coming beam shots slighty rocked the Uzumi Nara. Noticing the Uzumi Nara on a disadvantage, Lt. Autumn quickly reanalyzed the ships condition.
"Recede the bridge! Activate all Igelstellung! We need to buy time for everyone to board the ship! Ensign Kitami can we reach the Commander?"
The Uzumi Nara bridge receded. Sealing both the outer hall and inner helm. With the activation of Igelstellung's The Uzumi Nara began to have a defense shield around the ship.

Karen tried her best to raise a connection to Commander Hazuko but there was too much interference from outside to establish one.

Earlier from the explosions, Ryoko was knocked out from falling debris from the ceiling. It was only moments later she woke up to the finished firefight in the presentation room. She struggled to get out of the huge ceiling top that fell on her. Luckily there weren't any serious injuries for her. The bad news though. Lacus and other officials had already escaped to the airlock.
"Ugh, dammit I'm too late!" Ryoko looked around and studied on what happened. Her radio had been smashed so she was out of luck on communication. She quickly ran across to the other side of the presentation room and found a corridor to the Taeru Hanger.

Hazuko followed with the rest of the civilians and military from the other nations to the Uzumi. Now that Orb's guards had dealt with the infiltrators, they followed to protect the group now. Much of the shipyard was in need of intense repairs before anything could be built here again, so no point in protecting the equipment. They reached the gangway that lead to the Uzumi, and one of the soldiers grabbed his attention. "Sir, it's the bridge." he reported, while holding out a radio. "Autumn, it's Hazuko. Prioritize the coverage over the walkway. The remainder of the ceremony guests are travelling over it and I don't want any more casualties than necessary. I'm on may way now." He hobbled along with his escort, men at the back watching for any for the terrorists, although Hazuko doubted any would head straight for the Uzumi's connecting gangway.
Name: Haru Hazuko Genetic Type: Natural Rank: Commander Position: Uzumi Nara Captain Background & Personality: A true commander of Orb, Haru Hazuko has been a loyal Orb soldier since he could sign up. Before the advent of the M1 Astray, he was proud of the Orb's military might and felt it could defend against ZAFT or the Earth Forces without mobile suits. When the invasion of Orb happened, he was proven wrong and focused on generating his own anti-mobile suits tactics. Some of which were successful, and he was promoted to Commander by the end of the second war. He was selected as the Orb military's first choice to captain the Fujin, and he recommended his long-time crewmember Ryuu Taiki to transfer onto the ship as well. With Haru's experience, the recommendation was accepted.
Unlike his subordinate, Haru is a very serious and strict military commander. While he knows about the cost of war, he also believes war is sometimes a necessary evil. He holds a dislike for the Earth Alliance and ZAFT after each invasion on the Orb homeland. He also smokes often and has an occasional drink for celebrations. With his knowledge of the previous major gundam projects, he was the biggest supporter and influence on Project H(inode), and remained paranoid all the way to the launch ceremony. Appearance:

Alex and two other Orb Soldiers were carrying Lord Mochizuki on a stretcher. Everyone around them were panicking. There were even some with blood covered over there place. Alex thought how could this ordeal happen like this. They finally made it to gateway and they continued there approach to board the Uzumi Nara. He looked towards his badly injured Father.
"Hang in there father, were almost there!"
