In this case, watch from up close. She spent the quiet that followed simply watching Shun relaxed in curiosity and small parts adoration.

Chel wasn't tired, the opposite really. But she did close her eyes and stay as long as she could. As long as she could. If he stirred she would start with his hair again, like a pacifier.
She could give him a good night's sleep. He probably needed it. She did too. She kept watch.
