And said ball would soar straight into the back of Billy's head, sending the Toxel reeling for a moment from the sudden impact. Snapping back into action, Billy would prepare himself for a new approach to taking down this thing for Aria's sake. Charging forward, a wreath of electricity would begin to surround him before he began to attempt to Nuzzle the Dreepy into submission. And in response to the sudden, if not very effective, violence, the Dreepy would begin to glow with a sickly green energy before attempting to n** and bite at the Toxel like a swarm of invasive insects. The two would struggle against each other, the electrical currents fluctuating with each bite and the speed of bites rapidly shifting depending on how much charge the Dreepy was receiving. One side would begin to triumph but suddenly be blindsided by the other and forced back onto the defensive, no real winner coming out of this struggle for dominance. For those two, this was an intense struggle.

For outside viewers, they would get to see a Toxel snuggling up to a Dreepy as it tried to playfully n** and poke at it.

Giving them another moment to compete with each other before they both broke apart to once again take a breath, Aria would lob another Safari Ball into the fray. "Come on! You look so cute and interact with Billy so well! I'm certain you'll have fun with all of us!" Aria called out to the Dreepy, this time making sure that her Pokeball wouldn't smack Billy in the back of the head.

Watching as the Dreepy, got sucked into the Pokeball, Aria would begin to grin with glee and slowly drift towards the device. With each tick drawing closer.....and closer....and closer.....until the device let out a heavy thunk. Immediately, Aria would dash over to grab the device with a cheer. "There it is, Billy! We got this rad looking thing! " She crowed, grabbing her Toxel as she did so. "Now all we need to do is figure out in the actual heck it is! But I don't care right now because we got the cute lil thing!"

Spinning on her heel and presenting her Pokeball to the Roto-drone with a smile, the woman would say, "And like that, this entire trip is now worth it! But I still want to see more of the local wildlife, so lets keep up our exploration here. And I will certainly be less peeved at not meeting anything new now because this thing's so adorable it could power a city off of sheer cute." Finished with her little moment to her viewers, Aria would take off once again in a random direction, this time neglecting the sponsorship that had potentially given her this chance but not caring in the least about that.

Brian and Elio had only just started walking away from the Ditto when another Pokemon popped up, one that Brian wasn't familiar with but Elio recognized. "That's a Grubbin," he said. "It's a Bug-type." "Hmm, Lu, better let Torracat take care of this one," Brian said. He knew that Lu was weak to Bug-types, but she was also tired, which would start to slow her down the more she battled. Elio nodded and moved forward with Torracat, who was more than ready to battle.

"Scratch!" Elio said, and Torracat leaped forward, his claws extended to land a Scratch, but the Grubbin was quick, burrowing into the ground to dodge the attack before coming back up with a Bite attack, which barely missed as Torracat jerked back from the hole. A moment later, Elio gave the command for Ember, and Torracat unleashed a torrent of red-hot embers at Grubbin, which took massive damage, and acquired a Burn at the same time. "Finish it with another Ember!" Elio commanded, and Torracat did just that, knocking the Grubbin out with a final Ember attack. Elio rubbed his Pokemon's ears in thanks, then looked at Brian and nodded as the two continued their journey through their area.

[Area: Lower North Wild Area]

In an effort to pace himself, Aden sat next to a berry tree and looked up to make sure that hopefully nothing or no one would fall on him in the process. He figured it'd give him a chance to survey what was going on with anyone else in or out of the contest, and maybe form some sort of plan. Already, he was regretting not just sending Wooloo out to get a few fights in; stuff like the earlier Yamper or Togepi wouldn't be too rough on the sheep and would've been useful. He shrugged, figuring it wasn't too big of a deal and something he could rectify right now anyway, and sitting until he felt ready to continue.

This would end up being a bit sooner than expected when something dripped on him, making him look up to see a whole lot of nothing but berries. None of them looked like rot had set in; if anything, most of them were fairly ripe and it wouldn't hurt to get a few with that kind of fortuitous timing. "...must've been a Pokemon trying to get a meal in," he mused to himself, content to ignore it until it happened again. This time, he took notice that whatever had dripped on him was weirdly creamy in texture and assumed the worst when he decided to sort out the culprit by shaking the tree gently. In doing so, some of the berries would end up falling, surprising him a little at the variety that ended up at his feet. Most he was used to only had one kind of berry, maybe a couple if the berries had been cross-polinated and mutated. Maybe Galar's grew differently?

"Come on, what's up there?" He asked aloud as he kept shaking, quickly stepping back when a glob of the same stuff that dripped on him moments prior threatened to do the same. Surprisingly, it didn't splash or splat or anything, instead barely floating off the ground when it "landed" and looking up with a mix of anger and shock. "I..." Needless to say, Aden was fairly confused at what he was seeing here and took his SNAG out to try and get whatever info he could.

"...Milcery? Oh-kay... wait, what's this other one?" Quickly making a swipe gesture to a seemingly related page, he'd see another Pokemon: Alcremie. Apparently some sort of evolution for it, and looking awfully similar to the hybrid he encountered yesterday. Already, gears were turning. "I never did fight her, but if that's what the hybrid was, catching this would give more of an idea of what she might do firsthand. I have a feeling we'll see her again in due time, I doubt she's getting knocked out easily. You know what, yeah, let's go. Hey, Wooloo!"

Tossing a ball to his side, he'd let out a sheep who was probably both hungry for berries and- Aden hoped- tackling some weird glob of sentient cream a few times. The upside is she was when he gave her the order, insomuch as she'd run into Milcery and try to lick her for taste. This elicited less of a return tackle from Milcery and more of her... kissing Wooloo? Albeit more of a kiss of death, as the sheep quickly found herself losing her strength.

"Why would... crap, that's a Draining Kiss! Wooloo, shake it off of you!"

With a scared bleat, Wooloo tried to roll around to get Milcery off. To her dismay, this didn't prove terribly successful at much more than making Milcery stick to her even better than before, eventually prompting Aden to give chase and intervene once he caught up to them. Of course, actually trying to get cream out of wool, no matter how sentient, was an effort in both futility and frustration. After a bit, he and Milcery would both end up taking a Double Kick as Wooloo kept struggling to free herself of her captor. Surprisingly enough, it seemed to work and forced Milcery off, and Aden to the ground.

"That... works..." Clutching his stomach where he'd been kicked, he'd raise to his feet just in time to watch an angry Milcery lunge forward to Tackle and bounce off of Wooloo, letting out some weird cry as she did... and then took another from Wooloo as she rolled over in return, deciding that whatever sort of cream this was, it wasn't tasty enough or worth the risk. Her target had other ideas, however, latching on as Wooloo rolled through and going for another Draining Kiss.

Worried that Wooloo might actually get knocked out at this rate, Aden quickly readied a Safari Ball. "Sorry, really need to conserve what I can..." He remarked as he tossed it, figuring that at worst, he'd get her off of Wooloo a lot more easily...

To Aden's dismay, his toss was so far off the mark that it missed Milcery entirely and broke on impact with the ground. Wondering to himself what his toss even was at that point, he'd toss another one and hoped this one wasn't so cheaply made.

As if luck works off a pendulum, for his earlier miss, the second ball was tossed harder than he thought, bouncing hitting Milcery to attempt a capture and off Wooloo in the process. Attempt being a relative term apparently, as the ball barely shook at all before clicking and signifying that the Pokemon had been caught. "Uh..."

Standing there for a second, as if expecting the ball to burst open, he shrugged and went to grab it before resuming his scouting. "Nevermind, we take those."

Meanwhile on Sol's front, he figured this would both be a good chance to get Inigo some sorely needed experience, and bolster his party a bit in the interim. He found himself in a part of the Wild Area that was a shade more unusual than what he'd already seen prior, documenting anything that might be useful into his SNAG. In the process, he'd also keep an eye out for any Pokemon, already having his Scorbunny out and ready to fight.

What Sol would find before long was a Blipbug crawling around in the grass nearby, and him looking to Inigo. "Alright, you're up. This shouldn't be too much of an issue for you."

Puffing out his chest, Inigo would run up to the Blipbug, keeping his distance as he shot an Ember at it. The single attack alone was practically enough to do the bug in, but somehow, it managed to withstand it enough to have a little fight left in it. Enough to give a somewhat feeble Tackle, barely anything that the Scorbunny felt. A second Ember, shot without thinking to wait for Sol's orders, would be more than enough to finish the job. Maybe a bit too quickly...

Not that this stopped Sol from kneeling down to pat Inigo's head and give a little praise all the same, before the two resumed looking around.

[Upper North Wild Area]

Going perhaps a bit too far into the area, it'd be quickly discovered that there were some more powerful ones out there. Such as a weird penguin that Sol and Inigo would encounter next, with a giant block of ice formed where its head would seemingly be and a face looking like it was chiseled on for good measure.

Pretty much raising an eyebrow in response to this sight, Sol took a cursory glance to his SNAG to discern what he was looking at here. Eventually, he'd find information on something called an Eiscue, with it being the closest match if not an exact one. Much more than that didn't seem to be available, but if he had to hazard a guess, it did look like an Ice-type.

Weighing his options, he'd look to his Scorbunny and give a slight nod. "Be ready to run if we need to, but for now, let's test the waters and fire another Ember its way."

Turning towards Eiscue, Inigo would fire an Ember at it, but it seemed to shrug it off fairly well. Having gotten its attention, though, it'd move in to ram into Inigo with a Headbutt. It was on the slower side, though, but inexperience meant the Scorbunny froze up before being able to sort out anything about it- and didn't hear Sol speak up about getting out of the way, either.

With Inigo shaking his head after getting knocked around pretty hard, Sol spoke up again. "It's fine, don't worry about it. Let's try a Double Kick, see if that does anything for us!"

Getting right back into it, Inigo lunged forward to deliver a sudden kick to Eiscue, though it shrugged this off even better than the last attack. But the ice covering its head proved to be more fragile than expected, shattering in the process and revealing a much smaller head- along with a glint that suggested that the worst possible choice had been made.

Then Eiscue remembered that Double Kick meant two, and took a second kick to the face that hurt quite a bit more by comparison. Then it Tackled Inigo with almost blinding speed, because it didn't like being kicked twice in a row or with its guard down. The Scorbunny managed to hang on decently enough, but he really wasn't a fan of that kind of speed.

Meanwhile, Sol was jotting down notes in case he ran into another of these. And to figure out ways to deal with this one. "Must use that as a ways of protecting itself, but weighs it down... let's level the playing field, then. Flame Charge!"

With fire building up thanks to the friction of Inigo's movements with the ground, he'd start running a couple of circles before ramming into Eiscue and landing a rather strong hit for it. The excess energy meant Inigo could keep up a bit better too, barely enough to get behind it when it let out a chilling Icy Wind. Seeing a bit of an advantage, Sol was quick to speak up and capitalize on it. "Now, Inigo! Another Double Kick!"

By the time Eiscue turned to see where the Scorbunny had gone, it was too late for it. Taking another one-two pair of kicks, it'd end up knocked out on the ground with Inigo panting from the effort.

The two would stay back and relax for a few moments before finally continuing. No use in wearing themselves out, especially not today.

[Upper North Wild Area]

In their waiting, a Krabby would scutter about the water's edge. They'd ignore it in an effort to conserve their strength before finally deciding to get up and continue... or, that would've been the plan if Inigo hadn't gotten a bit wary after that earlier bout with Eiscue and tried to scare it off with an Ember. The Krabby would retaliate with Water Gun, but compared to what Eiscue did prior, this was nothing and he shrugged it off alright enough. Sort of.

Water still wasn't a fun time, and Inigo would react by delivering a Double Kick to send Krabby back into the water. Looking as weak as it did, though, chances are it probably fainted on the way down. Sol and the Scorbunny would decide to move away from the water itself to provide a bit more safety. Whether that was for Inigo's or the wild Pokemon's was up for debate.

Walking around She comes across a grey coated meowth. "Oh hello there." She said with a sweet tone.

The meowth looks at her, inspects her, and throws up its nose, turns to walk away.

Jezebel throws out a scorn look, "Well that was rude. Whatever, time to move."

[Upper North Wild Area]

By "get away from the water," this turned out to be almost all the way out of the area entirely and they found theirselves at the huge bridge overhead that connected to Motostoke. Compared to the previous spot, it was figured this would be safer and less likely to knock Inigo out- let alone Sol himself out of the tourney completely. Some cursory looking around would give him a good idea of the area; the bridge provided a lot of shade that seemed to be a boon for the nearby flora, evidenced by several berry trees in the area alone compared the others scattered about. A house of some sort was in the distance too, but he was too far away to make out much more than that.

He doubted anyone would willingly just have a house in a place like the Wild Area without a good reason, which was enough to have him consider checking it out while the chance was there. Motioning for Inigo to follow, he'd start for it when he felt something brush against his leg and stop suddenly, his Scorbunny bumping into him as a result. They'd both watch as the apparent cause for this sudden stop- an Eevee- run through the grass to one of the berry trees.

After a couple of minutes, they'd then watch as it ran to a nearby pond for some water. The whole time, Sol knelt down to keep a hand in front of Inigo and keep him from bolting after it. "Relax. I know you want to keep at it, but we can afford not to interrupt him while he's getting food and drink." The Scorbunny would bounce in place impatiently, but otherwise stayed put.

They'd continue to observe, waiting until the Eevee left the pond and started to wander around more aimlessly before Sol finally gave a nod to Inigo. "Now."

Flames being left in Inigo's wake as he rushed off, he'd crash into the Eevee to knock him off course with Flame Charge, sending them both tumbling on the ground. Growling and glaring at Inigo as if asking what the hell was wrong with them, he'd waste no time in Biting the Scorbunny's arm and eliciting a yelp as Inigo tried to shake his arm free.

I'd say calm yourself, but if someone was biting down on my arm, I'd have a hard time doing that too..." Sol commented, musing to himself. "If you can't use your arms, use your legs or your head!" He hoped this conveyed correctly, that to either go with something like Double Kick or to think of another strategy.

This ended up coming off as literally using his head, as he'd just Headbutt Eevee's head to make him let go that way, both of them slightly dazed afterward. "...close enough."

Both of them would be fine as soon as they shook their heads, with Eevee getting a sucker punch in by means of Quick Attack. Inigo would soon bounce back from it to spin around and Double Kick the Eevee back and leave him struggling to get back up.

"Right, then. I may have a few ideas, but first..." He'd toss a Safari Ball at the Eevee, thinking he might have a decent chance of catching him.

Jezebel looks around to see a small rock rolling around on a patch of dirt. "Oh that's interesting. Could use it for many different things, purees, rolling out dough, and more. Cayenne, time for a fight! Be careful, it is a rock type."

Cayenne jumps out insight of the Rolycoly. It spots the vulpix and throws out a series of rock blasts; 4 large rocks hurl toward vulpix. "Quickly dodge! Than use Flamethrower!" Cayenne jump from side to side; last jump headed toward the Rolycoly. A fierce blast of flames fire directly for Rolycoly. The flames surround the pokemon, shortly after Rolycoly absorbs the flames. A trail of flames now follow the Rolycoly, and its speed became blazing speed.

"Oh no! That flamethrower only made it faster!" Quickly thinking, Jezebel calls out; "Cayenne use dig! Make as many pothole as possible!"

Vulpix quick started digging holes in the ground; Rolycoly is now blazing around the field, firing rockblasts and using Stone edge. The field started getting more destoryed, with more obstacles appearing every second.

"Cayenne, wait for an opening. Use the field to your advantage."

Her vulpix quickly surveyed the field. Finding the perfect line up jumped to a nearby rock and waited. The Rolycoly stopped; searched for and found the vulpix, it used iron defense. Than charged at Vupix, than used Gyro ball. With the speed and defense boost, it was a living cannon ball. Vulpix waited for it's chance; as the Rolycoly got closer Vulpix used confuse ray.

The beam of translucent aura; that Rolycoly ran directly into. Distorting it's sight and mind, it became confused. Vulpix jumped quickly out of the way, between the speed and confusion. Rolycoly slammed right into an rock obstacle, dazing itself.

"Now's my chance!"
Jezebel quickly throws one of her Safari balls.
