Monique made eye contact with Crystal shortly after she flung the Arbok hybrid away. She found herself staring. Tapu, this woman is strong. She was panting and there were some cuts and what looked like blotches on her skin. It was an impressive performance.
"Right then, time to make a path out." She watched in shock as Crystal threw the desk at a wave of responding officers with seemingly only a few motions.
"What's that?" Monique heard Kasumi's raspy voice and felt her cling tighter.
"Shhhh!" the sheriff hissed as Crystal opened the doors mentally. "Time to move." Still waddling at the extra load, Monique paced out the door as fast as she could. "Let's get out of here. Both of us."

Meg would just have his Morpeko zap a human cop, opening up a path for him to join the others as he ran up to Crystal, feeling safer around the powerful woman. All together the group would begin to rush out of the hospital, pushing to the side anyone that tried to get in their way. They'd made it to the entrance doors but before they could even wait for the electronic doors to open a screen of light appeared in front of it, Meg accidentally bumping into it and as he stumbled backwards the stomach dropping realization of what it was set in.
"A Reflect..." He said quietly, then watched a second barrier appear in front of it, no doubt a Light Screen.
"Don't let them escape, my dears..." A seductive voice rung out in the minds of everyone in the hospital, including the Snagems, however they were not affected by it like the others were as patients, visitors, doctors, and the remaining cops, began to surround them. "It's her...it's Ukilah. We really pissed her off." Meg commented as he glanced around at the humans and hybrids surrounding them. Realizing the situation he turned to Crystal.
"You guys get out of here, we'll be okay. Just take your friend and her sister and go home. We'll be okay, it wouldn't be the first time I've been to jail." Meg said with a smile. Sure, Crystal could fight her way out of here, break the Reflect and Light Screen, but it would be a hell of a fight against plenty of hybrids of a type that she was weak to here and even with help from the others it would be a very rough fight, physically and morally, considering even innocent bystanders were being forced to attack them by a very angry Psychic.
Teleporting wasn't an option either, she could feel it, all this Poison energy in this reality made Teleporting impossible, the move probably didn't even exist in this reality. There was just one way to escape without hurting a lot of people and herself, and that was the most extreme escape method but one she has certainly used before.

Crystal’s eyes narrowed as the Reflect came up, followed by the Light Screen. And then the voice. Light, this hag again? She didn’t get the lesson the first time? But then she noticed more than just the cops surrounding them. The woman’s hands balled up into fists, ready to fight… And then Meg spoke up. She frowned, not liking this kind of scenario. Everything in her being wanted to take out that woman, the hag that decided everyone was her dolls to do with as she pleased(at least from her current perspective). However, she could pick up on Monique having a companion, and there wouldn’t be anything in any reality to keep Crystal from placing a bet that she had the sister she so desperately was hunting for. Considering that she had no protection like Monique, she probably wasn’t doing great, either. Liiiiight. The Solgaleo hybrid unballed one of her fists and looked at her golden fingernails. She could tear a hole into reality. She probably should, get Monique and Kasumi out of here. She hated the idea of leaving Meg to fend for himself, though. Finally, after what felt like an eternity of waffling to her(though it probably only took about a minute of time at most), she let out a very annoyed “Dammit all!” before forming a large horizontal Reflect, following that up with a Light Screen before weaving them together with steel chi. “Right then. Get on, Monique. And Meg. I’m going to remember this place. I want to return at some point. I never did ask my question to you, and I still want to punch that… woman’s face in more. So don’t die on us while we’re gone.” Stepping onto her lightboard, which looked more like a large circular platform this time instead of a surfboard or Snagem’s hoverboards, she waited for her passengers to get on. Once everyone was on, she began to glow brightly, the stars that wink into and out of existence in her forehead became light blue streaks, and a bright blue, what looked to be a compass rose, symbol appeared in the center of it. Reaching forward, she slashed the air in front of her, leaving behind a line of golden light. Shoving both hands into it, she pulled it apart to create her stable Ultra Wormhole. “Alola, Meg.” And with that, she’d kick off and enter the wormhole with her passengers, closing the door behind them as soon as they were in Ultra Space.
“She should be fine here as long as she doesn’t leave the platform. This wouldn’t be the first time I’ve taken someone through Ultra Space without any sort of protective gear. Still not recommended, in case of any accidents, but nothing happened the last time I carried the kids through here. They still have their memories of… Well, let's just say, if I could learn how Clare was turned into a Nihilego hybrid, I’d either pity her or be rather wary of her. Let’s hope we don’t encounter any of them.” With a deep breath and a look around, the light platform would push forward. “Now, let’s break the pattern of trying to go home and we get derailed…”

Mitsuki generally stayed in the back and let Monique take charge, staying beside Crystal and letting the Zoroark hybrid get her sneak on into the hospital to find her sister. The whole prospect was just absolutely disgusting, a sisterly reunion made her sick to her stomach. She perked up upon seeing Meg finally rejoin the group and felt a bit relieved. Powerful ladies were always a plus, as she would well know being one, but Meg was a special sort of idiot! Like a well meaning older brother who let the wrong people live. Hm.
When Ukilah’s Reflect popped up, Mitsuki knew what they had to do without needing the Snagem leader to make it known. They were going to keep that crazy lady occupied while the magic cat lady took Monique and her sister back home, which lead to her feeling a bit pleased. And they only just met too! She whistled quickly to get their attention. “If you ladies are ever tired of your universe, you should visit again sometime. I promise it’ll suck WAY more than this trip.” She promised, sending out her Venusaur Pitch.
“Pitch, wanna use Sludge Bomb!” She called out as her hulking grass type spat the nastiest possible loogie at the Gothitelle hybrid. Giratina, was she grateful for having a Poison type in the presence of of Psychic type. Despite her Grass typing, Pitch was a pretty calm and protective presence in the trainer’s life.

The walls—and barriers—were closing in. It was now or it was never. Crystal seemed to sense it. After a few moments, two more barriers formed, weaved into a platform. "Get on, Monique." The platform, circular, supported the weight of the three women. Suddenly, Crystal glowed intensely, and the two could only watch as the Solgaleo hybrid did what a Solgaleo did. "Alola, Meg." "Alola!" Monique hastily bid farewell. That world is a bad acid trip. The image of curdled Miltank venom would live in her head for a long, long time. Though if Crystal ever were to return, somehow she'd be the first to sign up to come back. ~~~ “She should be fine here as long as she doesn’t leave the platform. Let’s hope we don’t encounter any of them.”Monique dropped the illusion with the door firmly closed and let Kasumi stand on her own feet, though she still held on tightly. "What is this?" Kasumi weakly mustered. "Sweetie..." The Zoroark hybrid took a long breath in a tone of voice that most Snagems might not have heard from her. "This is Ultra Space, the space between realities. I know this stuff overwhelms you, but I need you to listen. There is much to say to you, and it will take a long time to say it. The first thing you should know is that I became part-Zoroark. This is me now. I can cast illusions of my appearance. The second thing is that we were all scattered into different universes. Yours seems like hell. Mine is in the past... Before the Dome. We don't know where Kaimana is, but she's out there. I found myself part of Team Snagem there. And that is Crystal." Kasumi waved. "The third thing is that, barring a disaster..." A soft sigh, a pleading sigh that things go normally. "We are headed home. Where you belong. And where Kaimana ultimately belongs." Monique could see the information reeling in Kasumi's head. She was a gardener because it was easy to keep everything in front of her—well, reasonable enough given the scarcity of Aether Island. "I am not letting go of you, tapu forbid. But for now, I need to focus." She started reading out the coordinates that her SNAG was listing for home, all the while a hand clasped around Kasumi's, her sister's grip feeble. Just a little while longer and they would materialize in Heahea. Where the milk was milk, the water was water, and the sky was clear.

Crystal, Monique, and Kasumi would safely escape into Ultra Space, the last they saw of the previously reality was Meg, Mitsuki, and Abigail fighting back the horde of humans and hybrids. The last discernible image from the other side was that of Ukilah, her eyes falling upon the portal they fled into, a look of contempt evident. Crystal, thanks to being on the Psychic spectrum, could sense the woman's emotions clearly in that moment, spite and revenge. She had a funny feeling this wasn't the last they'd see each other, though it was doubtful that Crystal would mind such a reunion.
-----
Within the 'safety' of Ultra Space the trio would drift, no destination for the moment but it certainly wouldn't take Crystal long to set course for home which was likely a good idea considering the state Kasumi was in. They could get her looked at, rest a bit, and steel themselves for a whole new reality. They could always take another trip to fetch and second and last sister.
Except that's not how it would go down.
"Steeelaaa..." Cried a massive teal creature as it rocketed straight for the trio, completely unaware of anything in its path as it smashed through a random asteroid as if it were a wet pinata. The closer it got the bigger it appeared, its size difficult to truly appreciate in the expanse of Ultra Space but one thing was sure they certainly did not want to be involved in a collision with this Goliath.
No doubt Crystal was familiar with these creatures and knew trying to parry it away was futile, the only course of action was to move and move fast. Like a train at full steam all you can do is get out of the way before it disassembles you a million times quicker than you were made.

Monique and Kasumi had barely had time for a few deep breaths before something came into view, headed the opposite direction—and fast. It was teal, it was unfamiliar, and it was a danger.
Kasumi gripped the sheriff's arm. "What... what is that?"
"I... I don't know," she stammered. "Ultra Space is inhabited by creatures called Ultra Beasts, otherworldly creatures. They are very powerful. I've fought four of them."
Kasumi barely had the stamina for mental processing. "A...and?"
"Well..." Even the normally steely Monique's concern rose as it smashed through an asteroid with ease. It looked like some sort of rocket creature with detached arms. Crystal seemed to notice the oncoming wrong-way Pokémon but hadn't said anything yet. "Hang on to me."

Crystal narrowed her eyes, giving a frustrated sigh. A Celesteela. Normally, not one she had an issue with. But then again, the few she came across were simply settled in whatever forest they landed in, acting relatively similar to a tree. She saw one rocket off once, but she was pretty far away and hadn't seen how large the damage the steel bamboo rocket had left, nor how fast it had taken off. As she watched it it come forward faster and faster, she had to make a decision. "Brace yourselves!" Crouching down, she'd aim the platform downwards to avoid the Ultra Beast, now waiting for the other foot to drop. There was the Kartana slicing the boulder in half with Reno and Aden, with that incident leading to a bunch of other Snagems taking a trip of their own, then there was Aden getting drop kicked by a Pheromosa, and now this.... What was going to happen next to kick them on the shins?

Monique and Kasumi followed Crystal's call and rushed to brace themselves against and on the platform, Kasumi weakly huddled against Monique's frame. Every time an Ultra Beast had appeared like this, it hadn't been any good... She could only hope that this beast would miss.

Crystal's evasive maneuvers would successful get them out of the giant Ultra Beast's path, the trio safely avoiding being scattered across infinity. However, as Crystal feared, doing so caused them to drift fairly close to a wormhole. While Crystal would feel nothing Monique and Kasumi would feel some sort of gravity-like pull from the wormhole, to them the force that pulled on them felt familiar and inviting. For a second or two the pull was light and pleasant until all at once it became cruel and violent, snatching them off Crystal's construct and beckoning them into the wormhole, this reality demanding they become part of it. They both would be turned around to see Crystal fading away as they entered the portal before their vision went completely white and then in an instant black as consciousness was lost.
For Crystal she would not have time to react quick enough to save them but did see which wormhole they were pulled into and of course was more than capable of pursuing them into this reality. Why this reality deciding to take them she would not immediately know, Ultra Space was a mysterious place even for those the most educated and immersed in it, sometimes it does things for no discernible reason but Crystal knew one thing for sure; there was always a reason.
-----
[The Alolan Ocean, US-2640...]
Monique and Kasumi would awaken, floating deep under water, Monique coming to first and shortly after her sister would, however barely conscious due to her previous weakness and fatigue from the last reality. The first thing both would realize is that they were underwater and their initial instincts were to gasp for air and even swim to the surface, however a few seconds later they would realize they were breathing just fine, somehow.
The answer would come to them upon looking at their hands and the rest of their bodies, finding that they had taken on a new form. For Monique her skin was white all the way down to her waist were it would turn blue, her legs gone and replaced by a mermaid tail. For Kasumi her face and belly was white as well but her arms green and she too had a mermaid-like tail, also green.
It wasn't too strange to see to see her sister now a hybrid, a Lilligant hybrid, she had been hybridized once as well, but where did the mermaid tail come from? It made sense on her, she was some sort of Water type, a Primarina hybrid, but what happened to Kasumi? There would be no answers only more questions as Monique noticed another nearby life form, an unconscious Zoroark floating just in front of them, it too sporting a mermaid tail.
What was this reality? Why were they pulled here? Where was Crystal? Would she come for them? Why were they all mermaids? And why did they end up in the middle of the ocean? Was there any land nearby? She couldn't see any, were they alone? The only visible thing she would note, besides some fish Pokemon swimming away from them once they came too, was a large and spread out group of lights down on the seafloor below them, almost looked like a city of the horizon at night. They were too far to see what was creating these lights but it was her only lead on where to go from here and she still needed help with Kasumi, she was still weak and sickly, she needed medical care still.

No sooner had the Celesteela zoomed by than Monique and Kasumi suddenly felt themselves pulled right off their conveyance, Kasumi screaming and scared. Every muscle in the Zoroark hybrid's body tensed up as she held onto her sister for dear life, sucked straight into a wormhole...
~~~
Monique came to later... It felt like moments and an eternity at the same time. Her eyes opened to see nothing but blue. She was underwater! She was about to bring a hand to her face to find that it was still a hand...but it was bleached white and no longer furry.
Her brain was about to process the implications of this when it commanded her to go up for air, but as she started to swim, she felt her legs stuck to each other, unable to pull apart. Then it curled across her vision. A tail, blue as the water with pink accents.
"Ahhhhhh~!" she shrieked in a voice that was partly hers but way, way more melodic. The sound echoed through the water. She was forced to take a deep breath of water, slowly realizing that her body could handle it and she wasn't about to be short on oxygen.
"Mo... Monique?" She located the source of the sound. She recognized the voice as Kasumi's, but Kasumi was no longer human. She had turned into a Grass-type Pokémon, one the sheriff had once seen out in the wastelands. A Lilligant. "Wh... What happened?"
"I don't know~ But now I'm a... I'm not a Zoroark?" There were many questions. Lilligant weren't Water-types, but Kasumi had a tail, as if it was perfectly normal.
"You... Look like..." A pause. "P-Primarina?" She could tell that Kasumi was still hurting.
The name rang a bell to Monique. She'd heard that in the past, Primarina or maybe a smaller version of it was a starter Pokémon in Alola, but by her time the only examples lived in captivity in the Flower City Aquarium. Of course, the only place they'd been able to see one was in old books.
A motion out of the corner of her eye made her notice a third figure floating in the water. This one was easily recognizable, but what it was doing in this position she had no idea. It was a Zoroark, floating, unconscious. It, too, now sported a mermaid tail. Had it come from me?
Her heart calmed down, and she could finally take stock. There were fish Pokémon, mostly swimming away from the trio, and the lights of what looked like a city on the seafloor below them.
"I guess that's where we need to go~," Monique told her sister (and the Zoroark). "We can't just stay here. Looks like I need to pull you down..." she added to the Pokémon. Slowly and unfamiliarly, relying on the muscles of her new body to ease the journey down toward the only sign of civilization, Monique swam down tentatively, holding Kasumi with one fin and the Zoroark with the other.
A young-ish hybrid would see Monique, Kasumi and the Zoroark from a short distance away, swimming toward them to investigate. They had ice blue hair pulled back into a long, thick braid that passed their waist in the back and a smaller pair on either side of their face that framed their curious, lilac eyes, each sporting a long antenna where there would normally be eyebrows. Their skin was almost alabaster though the scales covering their mermaid tail were a golden hue, intersected by thick, black webbing, ending in a large fan-shaped fin divided into four segments with large patches of crimson on each one.
Swimming toward the trio, the hybrid would see them come to and begin conversing among themselves for a moment before they began to swim downward, toward the seafloor. There was only one place they could be going if they headed that direction. For the moment, the hybrid stayed at a distance and watched to see what they were going to do, trying to stay out of sight but not exactly going a good job of it.
Crystal thanked her lucky stars for a very brief moment as they dodged the Celesteela, but only for that brief moment. Her focus had been on trying to avoid the Ultra Beast, and not on what surroundings were nearby, so she missed that they had blown by another Ultra Wormhole. Or, well, she had. Her first note that something had gone wrong was when she began to sense Kasumi’s presence moving, as well as a blank void that could only be Monique. By the time she had stood up to try and grab them, they were already gone into the Wormhole, with a frustrated growl coming from the woman. “Light, we can’t have a normal trip back home, can we?” With a tired sigh, she forced the platform back towards the Ultra Wormhole.
Monique and Kasumi would eventually come upon a giant metropolis on the seafloor, a sprawling city of lights. The buildings looked nothing like what you'd find on the surface, made of steel nor wood but instead some sort of coral-like material. The lights themselves were not powered by electricity or gas but instead appeared to be refined Thunder Stones and Electric Gems, perfect for underwater lighting. The city itself appeared to be built around some sort of pit around the center, bright lights emitting from the pit but from here they would be unable to see what was at the bottom.
Entrance would be denied to them by some sort of force field around the city, a dome of hard-light with various openings dotting it marked by rings of metal built into the dome, the rings keeping the dome open at those points. The openings acted like gates to the city, two on either side of the dome on the seafloor pointing east and west, two more higher up on the sides pointing north and south, then you had one lone gate at the very top of the dome. Each gate had guards stationed at them, powerful looking four armed Starmie hybrids accompanied by several Staryu, the multi-armed hybrids sporting deadly bladed weapons.
While people were coming and going through the gates some were denied entrance, from what Monique could hear something about a lack of a royal permit. Those denied entrance had two choices, go away peacefully or be forced to and Monique would witness one forced away by a blast of Power Gem, the unfortunate fish person sent flying further away into the ocean. The guards did not play around.
The city glowed promisingly and even seductively, sprawling and stunning and unforgettable once seen from atop, but it was also surrounded by some sort of invisible force field. As she neared the hole in the top of the dome, she could see a stream of people swimming and going, guards checking. The guards were armed, both literally and figuratively, to the hilt.
"Enhanced security measures are in place. Have you a royal permit to enter?" she heard one guard ask, watching from afar.
"Uh... uh..." The other person, some sort of hybrid, hesitated. The guards exchanged a glance, a rapid flashing of their gems as communication among them.
"If you do not have a permit, then you are denied entry. Please leave."
The furtive visitor lingered for a moment. The Starmie then sent the other person back with a blast of Power Gem, a shiny beam hurling them from the site.
The sight made Monique tense up. They needed in this city if they were to get home. She leaned in to Kasumi. "Let me handle this~," she whispered in her new, melodic voice. "Follow me."
The three, Zoroark still unconscious, made their way to the gate.
"Enhanced security measures are in place. Have you a royal permit to enter?" the Starmie guard asked.
"Excuse us, but my friends were injured and are seeking medical attention~" Monique explained. Her new voice made it sometimes hard to talk like she was serious. She looked first at Kasumi the Lilligant and then at the Zoroark, who suddenly began to stir.
"H... Huh?" she spoke, apparently stimulated by hearing several voices. All she could do was hope and pray that the guards were merciful. You wouldn't deny someone entry to a hospital if they truly needed it... Right?
