Well, yes and no.

~Is there a deeper meaning behind it?
It's a garble of the word 'Verneuil,' which is a place in France that lent its name to a very pretty reproduction medieval sword I'm planning to get one day. Also, it sounds like a name from Tolkien... but unlike real names from Tolkien, it's not being used by ten thousand other Gaians.

Badly spelt names in all caps that try waaaaay too hard to shock. (IHUMPZURMUM, etc.)

Doesn't matter, as long as they're not impossible to read. (Leetspeak with random characters annoys me.)

~Is there a deeper meaning behind it? Yea I would like to think so. I thought the word solstice was pretty cool so I looked up the meaning it had two versions one was summer and one was winter and I began to think (something I rarely do) I'd be cool if there was a day where it remained dark out for 24 hours hence the name dark olstice (although it derived from solstices' original meaning)

The story of my username:

My username...Hm, I was actually trying to think up one, and I just used the first 3 letters of my name. Then I thought of picking an animal as well, and I thought Nam-Kitty sounded rather nice. Compared to some other animals I tried. (Like Nam-dog didn't sound as good.) I added the 7 because I like that number. mrgreen Yes, it is rather original, since I made it up and everything. Yet, there's no deeper meaning, it's just some words. ^_^

The only time I change my username is when, I'm undercover. Or make a mule account. Though, this is actually my main one.

I have two other one's, one is Lonenight and the other is a secret. ^.~

I think my favorite would have to be Namkitty7, since I use it so often.

Yeah, I don't like the ones with a lot of numbers. They kind of bug me, though they are eyecatching.

I like simple username's since they're easier to remember. I like one's that are medium length, ya know, not to short, but not to long.

I wanted to describe a bit about myself, and that's when I realized I was mostly an unsolvable and complex puzzle, so that's where 'enigma' came from. As for the shadow part, I just used that from several of my past user names.

Before, it was ShadowsMystery. Didn't like that one too much, so I finally changed it.

the first part of my user name, "Zaku" comes from a Japanese pronunciation of the name Zack which means "God has remembered". The rest i just added to feel a little more important.
