Do you mind if I put in my own little twist. Here it is: Arianna's father was abusive and the car accident that she, her mom and twin brother were in didn't seem to be an accident. Do you mind?
"It is, you know I'm fine you don't have to worry about me" Arianna said. ARianna was an independent girl, used to relying on only herself and she didn't like to be babied.

Don't mind ^^

"I'm not worried about you. Just mildy concerned," Karissa joked, with a straight face.

"Don't be, I'm fine. Do you know what time it is?" she asked them.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 13, 2007 10:22 pm
"It's almost dawn." With her vampire senses, Karissa could tell the sun would be rising very soon. "We'd better get you home, and then we'll have to go." she said, meaning her and the other vampire. The first of the sun's rays wouldn't be very weak, but it would still set their skin sparkling - something that shouldn't be seen by Arianna. They escorted Arianna home, and then the two vampires went their separate ways. Despite her curiousity, there was just no time to learn more about the other vampire. "I'll see you at school on Monday," Karissa said to him, just before she left.

"Monday" she replied and walked into her house. Picking up the phone she called her cousin, David. "Hello?" he answered. "Hey, David it's me" Arianna replied. "Hey what's up?" he asked. "It's just so quiet here I don't like it" she replied. "Well then, let's talk I'll listen" he said. And so they talked and before she knew it it was dawn.

"To the garden?" she asked like she wasn't sure if he meant it. "If you'd like to." She turned and began walking down the hall to the back door. "Follow me," she said, sounding excited.
He seemed rather cheerful as he followed, his hands held behind his back as if he were trying to keep himself contained.

She opened the door to reveal a large large garden. It was even bigger than it looked from inside the window. "All I know is where this thing starts," she said, leading him to an opening in the tall overgrown hedges. "Feel free to lead the way," she said sounding cheerful.
He smiled as he walked into the chilly, damp air. He took in a deep breath, then lifted his hands into the air as if to look at them. He smiled as he watched the branches of the hedges move, creating a temporary hole in the hedge before him.

Raine's eyes widened in utter fascination. "That's why you wanted to come to the garden..." she gave him a very warm smile. "That's amazing! Probably one of the most unique skills I've ever seen!" The excitement in her eyes was extremely obvious. But then something came back to her. "Okay...so which way do you suggest we go?"
He chuckled, "Well, we could cheat," his expression became playfully serious, "or we could actually try, with help of course." He walked forward a few steps, his hands falling to the side, but the hole still remaining in the hedge. He looked down to draw attention to the path of orange tiger lilies that trailed from the spot her currently occupied to that which he had come from.

Rachel came to a halt in the forest of forks, quite happy with her choice of home. She smelled plenty of other vampires, and there was a high school she could go to. She sat in the forest, admiring her good fortune.

He smiled brightly, a bit of a boyishness emiting from him. He turned cheerfully and slid his hands into his pockets, heading deeping into the maze, the trail still leading back to where he began. He looked over his shoulder as he walked, "You coming?"

He smiled, proud of himself, but not smug, "I was an avid gardener. I would tend to the gardens of the nobles--very exuberant. They never seemed to take the time to admire the flowers, however..." As he walked, he plucked a single leaf from the hedge and held it in his open palm. He smiled as he watched the leaf grow a stem, several other leaves, and then a red bud that blossomed into a perfect red rose, no thorns. He held the rose out for her as they came to a stop, the maze forking into three directions.

She smiled shyly and gently plucked it from his fingers. "Thankyou, it's beautiful," she said. And then realizing they had come to a fork in the maze she said, "So what is your intuition telling you about this? Right? Left?Center?" Each choice seemed to turn into a long path that went on for miles. They were all very dark, she noticed. And then cringed a little just thinking about it. Even as a vampire, a fear of darkness had never faded. Although, here with him, she wasn't alone, she still couldn't shake her fear of it.

She looked at his back walking down the path to a left for a moment, and then followed very closely behind, afraid that if she didn't she might lose him, and then she really would be alone. "How long do you think this one will go on for?" she asked him, not able to keep a hint of fear out of her voice. Even through the window in the house it was apparent that if they took certain paths it would lead them deep into the woods that were just beyond the garden. And more trees meant more darkness, something Raine knew she might have a tough time handling.

As they walked, the darkness seemed to thicken, the sounds of crickets becoming louder, seeming closer. "Not too long," he said, hearing the fear in her voice. Because of his ability to manipulate plants, he could sense where they were. They were going to head deep into the forest.
