Rumors and Plants (NightWerewolf here)

Eva listened intently to everything Alex was saying. Suddenly, Eva was pulled from under the car. "You two still under here? Geez Eva I just can't let you do my job can I?" Leroy chuckled.

"Nope, I guess not." She giggled.

"You two better go eat something before you don't have any energy left." He told them.

"What, you have you're own car Leroy." Alex teased as he slid out from under the car. He wiped his hands and got up. "Okay Eva, I guess we should go eat something." He chuckled.

"Good idea." She took his hand and the to of them walked into the lounge where it was just the two of them now. "After all I do need to feed two." She giggled when no one else could here.

Alex nodded and smiled happily. "Yeah. The only bad thing is that it may be a few months." He sighed but kept his smiled. "Okay, what do we got."

Eva pulled out their lunch bag and pulled out his favorite sandwich and hers along with a few drinks and fruit. "This ok?" She asked him.

Alex nodded quickly. "It's more than ok." He said and grabbed the sandwhich, an apple, and a drink. "You know, I still have to call Angela."

Eva paused as she bit into her sandwich. For a moment she didn't but finally was brought back down to earth. "Yeah, I guess you do." She said, remembering what had happened the last time they had talked. Eva shuddered at the thought of not having him.

Alex looked down a little then back up to Eva with a soft smile. "Don't worry, no matter what happens we'll still be together."

"I know." She smiled at him and finished her lunch. After work, the two of them headed home and Eva sat on the couch in the living room. Riley rubbed her head on Eva's stomach. "Yes, I'm pregnant." She smiled began to pet her friend.

Alex followed her in and sat down on the other side of Riley. "Yeah, looks like someone may have a play mate soon." He said with a soft laugh. He kissed Eva quickly then got up again. "I'm gonna go take a shower." He said and went upstairs.

Eva nodded and closed her eyes as she continued to pet Riley. "Let me know when you're done." She told him. Riley curled up on her lap and began to purr as she closed her eyes as well.

"Will do!" He called down and hopped into the shower. After a little while he came down. "You're turn." He said with a soft smile and sat where he had been before.

She handed Riley over to Alex and gently kissed him. "I'll be right back." She almost ran up the stairs and hoped in the shower. When she finished, she changed into clean clothes and headed back down stairs and took her spot next to Alex. "Miss me?" She giggled. "So what do you feel like eating for dinner?"

Alex looked up when he heard her coming downstairs. Riley was in his lap being petted. "Of course, I was wondering when you'd get back down." He chuckled. "I don't know, surprise me."

Eva thought for a moment and then got an idea. "Alright. Stay here." She told him and ran into the kitchen. Quickly, she began to make a Chicken and Vegetable Stir-Fry. Eva walked back into the living room and grabbed his head. "Dinner's ready." She smiled.
