"Emotional Rock" no, Rock itself is emotional- The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Scorpions, AC/DC, Jimmi Hendrix- THEY were emotional because their lyrics dealt with heart-rending issues and the music matched it, and it was GOOD. Emo music is just... crap.
Take Good Charlotte- they have a few good songs, but they're all about making money, it's no longer about the MUSIC, man! And... to be honest, that saddens me- that music is all a big corporate thing now, instead of the raw emotion it was years ago, when they didn't care about the money, but they cared about having a good time and making kick-a** music!
