Nelowulf The only real difference between true nerdiness and popular nerdiness is if you can actually take the geeky things you know, and apply them to life. Such as being able to explain plausible theories on how to create a lightsaber. A geek can't do such things. They just say "Well, its possible in star wars, why not in real life?" Hence, Nerds take what they know, and couple it with geeky subjects. But because they know a lot in life, they also are geeks in more than one subject area. Otherwise they're just uberdorks. At least, from my observations.
