Sabu pondered. Comoflage wouldn't work because the beast would still smell him. Going over wouldn't work because of the beast's long reach. One option left.
He learned this jutsu from a friend years ago, but he was never any good at it. He hoped it worked now.
He performed a few seals then said, "Spirit of the Mole." quietly. He vanished underground.

Kai jumped onto the shoulder of the spirit as it rose to the pillar in the sky opening a hole in the barrier Kai jumped onto the pillar as the hole in the barrier sealed. The spirit of fire staired down from on top of the pillar.

Kai Hyugiha Kai jumped onto the shoulder of the fire spirit. "Spirit veins of fire." The spirit shoved it's hands into the ground and heating the stones under the ground near the pillar some melted into molten rock from the heat. [[which pillar? didn't you say you were doing it to the one in the air? if so, there wouldn't be any stones near it, so you would be melting rock for the hell of it.]]
