Appearance: Majority black, with a white underbelly, and white face marking pattern like the mother. His mane will be the the same gradient effect as the mothers tail. And similar triangle and circle markings as the mother on his shoulder.

Personality: Angkuh is a very loud and proud lion. Standing up for the weak, or against wrong doings, He puts the well being of others before anything else. Quite the family man Angkuh would never fling, but find a great mate and settle down with as large of a family as he could have. As a cub, he'll be very loud and adventurous, and I'd want him to witness some bullying or abuse situation that would lead him down his chosen path.

Meaning: Shape (Swahili)
Gender: Female
Appearance: Mostly white, with a black underbelly. She has her father's square markings going along her shoulders, and her mother's markings on her flanks. Her eyes are purple like her father's and her tail resembles her mother's.

Personality: Sura is extremely curious. From the time she could walk, she was exploring. While this nets her in trouble quite often, she continues to give in to her curiosity. Whenever she finds something new and exciting, she'll babble on to anyone about it. She's very open and likes others to know that they can be the same with her.
Any additional requirements that the family has: She would most definitely stay in the pride and would probably pursue being a scout.

Name of SoA: Elimu
Meaning: "Knowledge, education" in Swahili
Gender: Female
Appearance: Solid black body like Umoja, with grey inner ears like Lomasi. On her back she should have markings like her father, except in less quantity, mostly concentrated on her spine, in her mother's white and father's purple. Her mane should be black, as should her nose, and the tail tuft would be white. El's eyes are the same as Lomasi's.

Personality: Eli appeals under the guise of a hopeless gossip, but what lies underneath is a fountain of local knowledge. Anything that is told to her is logged in a seemingly endless memory bank. That being said, as she grows she will work up to this, and ultimately take the rank of Scout, so that she may further her pursuit of knowledge by branching out as far as possible, and thus gaining intel that those on the inside may not know.

As a cub I imagine her as a sort of awkward, pushy little girl that while she prefers to hide behind her mother's paws would be relentless in questioning over simple things. "How can birds fly? Why is the sky blue? etc"

Personality: Despite her name, Tamu takes after her father personality wise. She's always been a mean little bugger, and doesn't seem to have a very strict moral code. She doesn't consider these things to be faults; rather, she embraces them. She's known for her quick tongue and having no filter.

She feels she only needs herself and her mother, whom she loves dearly.

Personality: Rinfir values independence and often tries to sneak away to see what the world has to offer. She can have a bit of a mean, jealous streak when she doesn't get her way and she has been known to start a fight or two but she doesn't MEAN to be bad...She just doesn't know how else to deal with her emotions other than anger. When she is not upset, she is sarcastic, if not sweet, but she can go off like a bomb. (haha...Bad puns)

Personality: Rechot doesn't take life seriously. He's a jokester, and assumes everyone else is too; which will inevitably get him into trouble with those of a more serious tone. He'll be excitable to a fault, sharing in his daddies love for bloodshed if only for the fun of it, and relish in the scent of adrenaline that comes with war and brutality. With all that in mind, he will also be a much more submissive hyena as oppose to some of his kind within the Nergui pride. He'll have a sharp tongue, witty despite average intelligence, but reprimand will not be met with stubbornness or backlash aggression. After all, everything he does will be "in the name of fun".

Mind you, he'll probably have a few snarky remarks to make behind the backs of others, being guilty of gossip, but... aside from that, he's an all bark no bite kind of boy.

Oh, and dishonest too, which leads one to believe that Rechot will have few things going for him -- outside of his comedic potential, when inputted at the appropriate times. If nothing else, he's fun loving. That counts for something.

A bit of history about the family:
Both Star and Lantis lived in D'W but neither ran into one another. It was on a journey that they met up in the rogue lands before DW was abandoned. As days went on they both fell in love with one another, but they both disliked not being apart of a pride. Lantis had heard of Bahari and its beautiful waters one day from a traveler. He convinced Star to come with him to live in a pride once more. Once accepted they began to build a home by the shore in a cave and will likely be the place where they spend the rest of their days.

Name of SoA: Pleione
Meaning: In Greek myth, a nymph that was patroness of sailing and was sometimes associated with water; in botany, a genus of orchid; in astronomy, a star in the constellation of Taurus
Gender: Female
Appearance: Black, with a starry pattern on her neck and back like her mom’s mane that goes down to about her ribcage. Markings like her dad’s layered overtop this (like constellations are being mapped out is the idea). A particularly bright star over her ‘third eye.’ Teal eyes and tail-tuft, and gray inner ears and nose.

Personality: Pleione is a sweet cub, but can come across as odd or flighty. She has a fascination with the night sky that can only be rivaled by her love of flora. She often refers to the stars as “sky flowers,” and flowers as “land stars.” As a cub and juvenile, she’ll complain about her feeling like an outsider and misfit. Pleione will spend much of her free time learning about plants and charting the patterns and movements of astral bodies. She’ll find a small cave that she will declare “hers” and map out constellations on its walls. She will also keep small plant samples here, or just outside.
Having felt out of place most of her life, her Ba'Ushufo will be a source of great anxiety when she approaches it. In her mind, this will be when she’s supposed to become a “real” member of the Bahari’Mtoto, and she won’t be sure she can handle it. Around this time, Pleione will begin to act out (never anything malicious, but she might poke a jellyfish or something). Just before her Ba’Ushufo, she’ll break down under the pressure of it all and run away. But after some travel and soul searching, she’ll return in late adolescence or early adulthood. It will be at this point that Pleione will be sure that the Bahari’Mtoto is where she belongs.
