That piece of realism art is absolutely amazing. It's just so good, words fail me. No wonder you're going to art school. I'm sure you'll make a name for yourself in the art world.

Integumentary System That piece of realism art is absolutely amazing. It's just so good, words fail me. No wonder you're going to art school. I think so too <333 Orielle if you only had a clone so you could have done those cards >__< its a shame that you couldnt take on the job due to time D: but i really think you will be a very sucsessfull artist indeed C:

Yeah, it would have been fun to take that job.. But 10 hours per painting * 100 pieces.. It's just not possible with the way my schedule looks. I've taken on a couple of smaller jobs though, logos and such.. And I'm thinking about opening up a real life commission thing on DeviantArt because I desperately need money, and I can't get a real job up here. Don't know if enough people would be interested, or how much to charge though. whee

Skadi (the girl who won my auction) quit Gaia and left me with her account and all her items (including horns of demon heart ). So now I reeeaally have to find a way of finishing her painting. Other than that I'm working on a Naga sculpture for class.. She's looking pretty spooky so far, maybe I'll upload a photo when it's done.. I'm hopeless with sculpting though. xp

Hello Orielle! I saw you do some work in a different thread before. It was very nice. And your samples are also beautiful. Your skills are very grand. If only my stick figures were as lucky.

I'm hopeless with sculpting though. xp Yarr that would be a scary aount of time and such.. and you should you should!!! your art is amazing and people WOULD buy form you! i know it - just as i knew your auction would go to millions xD you could then also with the money you make get a print acocunt on deviant ART. its like $25 i think and thery take a certain percentage but yarr i think people would buy prints from you - and the price well i would work by hour. and Explain this, I know a user on DA that charges about £50-100 for ONE picture - he is a manga artistand does some hentai but Realism is worth so much more! Maybe do a special lower introductionary priuce and then see how it goes and if you get lots of notes rasie the price! supply and demand! if i had a job i would SO comission you. Thats also amazingly amazing that she gave youher acocunt!! @__@

and you were gonna get an art job?! thats odd how you cant get a job and I can't quit from mine. =[

Thanks, Starling. I'm already back at school, but this week has been pretty slow, so I've been able to come on more often than usual. I haven't drawn anything aside from school work though.. xp
Swee: I'm not very active anymore either, though I wish I could be. How is that joint auction you were talking about coming along? And why won't your boss let you quit? You must be great at your job than, but I can understand why you would be annoyed..
I'm only taking on small projects right now.. Doesn't become much money, but it's okay.. And if only I can get some commissions in addition things should be good. A guy in my class had an exhibition over the summer with prints. He sold almost 1000 copies! And each of them were at least $100.. If only I was as lucky..!

A introductionsnary low price - well for headshots like you did for the birthday guy... i would say anywhere between $25 - 45
but for waist ups like the one you did for me $50 - 75 >_<
I think thats a low price for uyour artwork! maybe make a journal on DA and ask around how much people would pay for your arts and such 3nodding

Damn $100 a peice that's incredible if you do alot of realism arts for people you could sell them for alot, seeing how most people like realism.
I wasn't gonna do any joint auction, I'm incredibly bad at drawing lol
And I am pretty good at my job, making coffees and smiling alot isn't that hard, haha, I have to write a letter saying a quit apparently lol. ter write it soon.

$25-45!?!?! eek Woah, I'll have to get that thing started as soon as possible then, the birthday drawing only took me two-three hours anyway.. But first I have to finish the auction picture. Good idea, I'll update my DA gallery and post a journal entry soon.

It would be fun to draw you Lelu, seeing as I've already drawn Captain and Sky.. xp But at the moment I don't have much time.. I'm working on a sculpture right now that should have been done las friday, and I have a huge anatomy project going on for my art history class.. whee Plus I'm going to Trondheim for five days! (One of the largest norwegian cities with loads of art museums and stuffs...)
