My Rp with Chibi_Blue_Mouse

Jasmine looked up from the mat and followed Kailee, she had more or less closed herself off. She walked around like a zombie. Vaguely, she wondered what Leon would think about her. She walked into the infirmary and Aven's scent blasted her face and she gave a whimper moving faster to his side. Her name fell from his lips and she took his hand. "Aven?" She whimpered and tried to not burst into tears. She looked up at the nurse and doctor who were working on his injuries.


Leon's eyes went wide when he watched his sister walk. . .no shuffle, into the infirmary. Dark Mother above. . .If she was this bad with him missing, how bad would she get if he had returned Aven's corpse. He would have to talk to Kailee. Was Jasmine thinner?

Maybe it was her scent, or maybe it was the act of her holding his hand, but something about Jasmine's presence there calmed Aven and he relaxed further into sleep, though his fingers curled around Jasmine's hand, his instincts screaming at him not to let her go. And just like that, Aven fell into peaceful slumber. The exhaustion would be able to be recovered from soon enough.

Kailee had tried to take care of Jasmine, but the other had been deteriorating. She'd been near the point of force-feeding the other . . . Thank goodness Leon had found Aven when he did . . . speaking of Leon . . .

"Why does it look like you walked right out in plain sunlight?" she asked, eyebrow raised. Her question was spoken in a tone that said that she already knew why and he better have a damn good reason for doing so or he was going to get an earful the moment the two of them were alone.

Leon watched the pair and took a soft sigh. His relief was short lived however, when his mate questioned him about his colour. "I scented him as I was about to sleep." Leon said. "I went out to find him and he was wandering the forest muttering Jasmine's name like a mad man. He didn't recognise me at all. . .So we should get a mental specialist here in case Selena tried her mind stuff on him. . ."

Kailee nodded and adjusted her hold on Natalia, making sure she wouldn't be dropping her baby any time soon. "Yeah. Once he wakes up though. In the meantime, you need to be looked at by a healer for that unhealthy red skin you're sporting." she said, lightly pushing Leon towards one of the infirmary beds with her free hand.

Leon smiled and let his wife herd him to a bed. He took their baby and kissed her cheek. "Such a mother hen." He cooed. "Makes me love you all the more." He whispered softer as a nurse huffed at him and started to lather his skin with some special sunburn cream. She was rather rough, but also ranting; "All you vampire men are a like, you sniff something weird you run headlong into the sun. . .I swear I have to keep my man tied up to the bed during the day or he'll go trapsing into the sunrise. . ." She shook her head. "Such a fine example you are for your pup."

Leon rolled his eyes and hissed. "Ouch! Maa~~" He whined to the nurse in an obvious joke.


Fred walked in, following his kids who rushed to Natalia seeing if she wanted to play, he noticed Jasmine was all but laying on a male on a medical bed and realised, it must be Aven. At first he was sad, but then he was happy. "Jazzie." He whispered gaining a cracked open eye and a grunt. "Jazzie, I got you those yogurt squishies. . ." He offered an open packet. "You love them don't you~" He smiled when she took one and nommed on it. It was one of the food he could get her to eat if he was careful. Barely.

Kailee just smirked as Leon was lectured by the nurse. However, she then had to try and fend off Fred's children, wanting them to calm down before they approached her 'injured' husband . . . since he now had Natalia.

It took a few moments after Fred started interacting with Jasmine, but Aven's eyes shot open and he rather exploded into his wolf form, jumping between the two, growling angrily at Fred, hackles raised, all senses on high alert . . . and also not really awake either . . . This was Aven's instincts at his most basic. "Mine. You can't have her. She's mine. Won't lose her again. Mine." His growls were almost feral . . .

Fred's jaw clenched. "Who was here on the full moon for her?" He asked his eyes glowing. He wouldn't dignify the challenge. "And who was here trying to keep her eating?" He frowned. "I am her friend. I will not be pushed away by you."

Jasmine sipped on the yogurt squishy packet and gave Kailee a distressed look, not sure how she was supposed to react to this display other than give a whimper.

Leon smiled a tiny bit at the pups wanting to be friends with his baby girl. "Gentle okay?" He said to the kids. "She's still smaller."

Kailee was more than a little stressed out by this situation as it was and she went over and stepped between her brother and Fred. "Stand down. We don't know what he's been through and he's clearly not in his right mind at the moment.. You aren't helping." she said, glaring. "I appreciate what you've done for Jasmine, and I'm sure once Aven is back in his right mind, he will too. But for now, I'm ordering you to stand down." Kailee added a bit of Alpha pressure to try and get Fred to do what she wanted. The last thing she needed was an altercation. She then turned to glare at Aven who wasn't even paying attention to her, just growling.

"Mine. Not yours. Mine. My mate. Found her. Won't leave. Won't lose. Not again. Mine." Apparently he found a new mantra . . . one his instincts created for him. Unfortunately, instincts weren't the most eloquent of things when it came to words and explanations . . .

Fred looked down and took several steps back then went to hover around his pups who were gently playing with Leon and Natalia.


Jasmine reached out and gave Aven's back a paw. Her mouth clutched the nozzle of the yogurt so her hands could paw and get his attention. When she finished the packet she put it away and continued to paw and mew and nudge, trying to get his attention now. She didn't want there to be a fight. And Kailee was frightening her now.

Aven turned and nuzzled Jasmine as soon as she started indicating she wanted his attention . . . however, now that the perceived threat had been taken care of, his exhaustion quickly overwhelmed him once again and he wound up falling asleep in Jasmine's lap.

Kailee sighed as she watched her brother before going over to Fred. "I'm really very sorry about that. It's just . . . we don't know what she's done to him yet and I'd really rather not have anyone hurt." she said, sitting down by her mate and watching the children with a weary look. This past month of Aven being gone had really worn on her as well . . .

Jasmine smiled softly and once he was asleep again held him tenderly and just stroked his fur humming a lullaby to him.


Fred nodded slightly watching as Leon took his mate in his arms and cuddled her close. This whole thing with Aven had taken a toll on everyone. Fred was starting to wonder if he was worth it. But the instant colour that seemed to return to Jasmine's face told him that it was worth it. "Come on kids lets leave the families alone to sleep." He purred and took his rowdy pups away from the infirmary.

Kailee sighed and leaned into Leon a bit. She bit Fred farewell when he decided to leave and then looked over at Jasmine. "Jazz, do you want something to eat?" she asked, hoping the other would finally want to eat something more substantial than what Fred had been able to get her to eat now that Aven was back.

Jasmine looked up at Kailee from her spot on the bed. Her hand still gently stroking Aven's fur. "Um. . .A nice roast would be great." She said smiling a little. "Chips and gravy. . .Ice cream. . .Anything really." She replied more staring into space as she thought about the food she was craving.

Leon smiled a little, happy to see his sister a little more animated. She was still horribly thin but he knew food would help with that. And perhaps more fun with Aven. And now Aven was back, Leon didn't have to leave again. His father could handle finding Selena. He could be with his wife and child.

Kailee nodded at one of the nurses who was around and heard the conversation. "I'll make sure someone gets that for you then." she said, watching as the nurse scurried off, either to relay the order to the kitchens herself, or to pass the order to a servant.

Jasmine smiled a little as she watched the nurse leave. It would take a while for the food to arrive, she wasn't sure if they'd have to reheat her food or make it from scratch. She sighed as she stroked Aven's fur. The act alone, was soothing her sadness, the ache in her chest and her loneliness.
