*Goes over and hugs Talim* There's nothing wrong with eating the big fishy. It's just some people respect and care about life, so they're more upset to see others so happy about death. Although really we're just being true to our nature, while not hurting other humanoids. It's good for us to be eating fishies, so be glad that we get this rare treat of Shark.

Overhearing the conversation, Firetiger comes back into the tavern, questioning Aya, "What does hurting other 'humanoids' have to do with this?" After thinking about it, she says, "Are ya sayin' that it's worse to kill them than somethin' like a shark?"

She turns to Talim, "Now that the sharks are dead, it'd be wasteful to not eat 'em."

Overhearing the conversation, Firetiger comes back into the tavern, questioning Aya, "What does hurting other 'humanoids' have to do with this?" After thinking about it, she says, "Are ya sayin' that it's worse to kill them than somethin' like a shark?"

She turns to Talim, "Now that the sharks are dead, it'd be wasteful to not eat 'em."

I would say that it's EXACTLY what I am saying. We should have a certain fondness and respect for nature, but the life of an animal is the not the same of a life of a humanoid, with those of who have the power to rise above basic instinct. Animals are here to serve as our food and protectors of the balance of nature. To save the life of one human has more meaning and value then the life of a single animal, because even a single human has the power to bring change to many other animals or humans.

Firetiger's eyes start to flame yet again. She growls, "We're just as smart as you, and our lives are as important as yours." Slightly confused, she objects, "But humans are animals!" Backing away from Aya, the misunderstood neko hisses, "Why does everyone who walks on two legs think they're superior to us? Animals are protectors of nature, but their purpose is no more to serve as food than yours," trying to keep her voice calm, but it wavers slightly from emotion; she feels a mix of love and pain for animals, including 'humanoids'.
