Kurai snapped out of her moping mood and looked up at Infern "That sounds agreeable to me. I hate to admit it but I personally am exhausted." she stated nonchalantly. Then her eyes flickered to look at Agni for a moment. The man seemed nice enough and she didn't particularly dislike him but their was something about this Lord Agni that set her skin crawling.

When Inferno thought about what Infern had said she noticed that she actually really did feel tired. "I'm totally fine with it, I think a long needed rest is what we all deserve." Forgetting all about the her earlier suspicions against Agni with the thrill of a new fight and the tiredmess that had just inveloped her.

(K, we'll just drag Miera along with us for now.)
Infern nodded at Kurai and looked at Agni. "That settles it. We'll meet you at your manor tomorrow, then." Infern reluctantly shook Agni's hand and then led the rest of them out of the coliseum. Together, they walked to a nearby inn and Infern paid for a room, despite the innkeeper's insistance that Lord Agni had covered the cost. "I don't want to owe that man any favors. I fear it might be bad for my health." he said. The innkeeper accepted the payment, despite being confused at the comment. "I don't understand. Lord Agni is such a kind man..." the innkeeper mumbled as Infern walked off with the room key. They got to the third floor and entered a rather large area that looked like a house in itself. There was a small dining area with a wooden table and chairs in front of them. To either the left or right were the beds and on the far end of the room was the "kitchen" area next to a small room that contained a washtub. Infern shut the door after the last of them had entered and eventually got everyone seated at the dining table. Before he could speak, a knock was heard at the door. Infern sighed and answered the door at which point a man entered carrying a basket full of breads, meats, and cheeses. "Compliments of Lord Agni." the man said as he handed Infern the basket and left. Infern sat the basket on the table and took his seat again. "Eat if you're hungry. While you're eating though, I would like to know everyone's thoughts on the situation." he said, refraining from taking any food from the basket for now.
(Don't ask how Infern had enough money to pay for their room, just go with it. XD )

((That's fine, we've been dragging Smoke and Skylar along with us XD ))
Kurai walked behind Infern as they left since he was one of the few people in their group that actually seemed to have a handle on things. When they entered the room she helped Infern get everybody situated and went to sit next to Skylar at the large table but thought better of it and took her usual place next to Kari.
Kurai studied Infern for a moment, he looked troubled and she wondered why he had been so eager to get them out of the Coliseum. When the basket was placed on the table she glanced at it longingly before taking a small loaf of bread and a slice of cheese and popping a small piece of each into her mouth and chewing slowly.
"The food tastes normal..." Kurai pointed out, trying to reassure everyone that it wasn't poisoned then she looked back up at Infern.
"Personally, I'm not sure what to think. At least part of this was Galindor's doing, and the other part I think has to do with Miera." she glanced over at Miera when she spoke and picked at the loaf of bread.
"I'm not trying to accuse anyone of anything. The big question is; Why here and this time period? Cleopatra and Tirain are here but that doesn't make any sense to me right now...there doesn't seem to be a connection other than that." She said quickly. Kurai was trying really hard to prevent conflict within their group again, right now they needed to be calm so she was being overly apologetic.

Inferno followed behind everyone and once int the room plopped down of a chair. With the basket their she snagged an orange but decided to wait a little bit before eating it instead she rolled it infront of herself. "If Galindor did this then their must be a reason. But that is maybe something we won't ever know until we are able to fiqure it out" she stated not really looking up from the orange she was still rolling.

(sorry it's quick...)
Miera looked up from where she had sat down on a bed next to Infern, leaning slightly against him. Holding her head up and still looking slightly dazed, Miera shook her head quickly and looked more awake. "Galindor...sent us. There's...a lot, to think about." Frowning at the basket while looking distant again, Miera tore off half a loaf and looked at it doubtfully. "Agni honestly likes the coliseum, and wants as many people to fight. He wouldn't harm us...yet. Maybe drugs or sedatives, but..." Miera hesitated a moment, the change of subject seeming abrupt. "Cleopatra and Tirian are looking. I'm still not quite sure, but this seems to be after I...left. They didn't recognize me... That, or something happened that I was erased from their memory. Either way, you don't need me to say this, but act normally as if the stuff in our...your...my...agh!" Miera made a face. "Act like the whole mess hadn't happened. I will try to figure out what's happening other than what I have been told..." Miera looked around, seeming nervous. "A kind man must have a way to ensure his guests stay well..." Leaving that, Miera gave Infern a slightly confused look that also look like she was begging for something from him, before she went into a corner and leaned against the wall to rest, the lights around her dimming as she still didn't have any real clothes.
(please keep her from being nekkie! crying meh)

(I imagine her as a bronze-skinned lady whose skin reflects light to hide what needs to be hid. That work?)
It's amazing how one little thing changed our opinions of Galindor so quickly. Infern thought as he listened to the others speak. "While my personal opinion of Agni isn't good, I believe this coliseum of his could be useful, if not just for honing our skills a little more. I won't enter the coliseum myself in order to keep an eye on things from the outside, but I won't stop anyone else from entering. We won't worry about who is going just yet though, as we have more important things to discuss. We have the issue of Cleopatra and Tirain. The fact that they are here definitely means we're in a past time period. It's at least one thousand years before our own time period, if not farther. The fact that they didn't recognize any of us is good, but in order to keep a low profile I suggest we not engage in any conversation or activity with them unless approached. I'm as lost on the details of all of this as you all are, so for now I would propose that some of us enter the coliseum and we can bide our time here in Sirranos until we figure out what to do. Does that work for everyone?"

Kurai jumped up out of her chair, snatched a blanket off of one of the beds, and went over to Miera to drape the blanket around her. "She must really be exhausted..." she muttered while tucking the blanket around her to make sure it wouldn't fall off if she stirred.
Then Kurai turned back to their group "I guess that plan is alright for now, there really isn't a way to avoid it. That Lord Agni guy gives me the creeps, but he seemed nice enough." she said on the way back to her chair. Her peripheral vision was becoming blurred and she rubbed at her eyes when she sat down but the blurriness only got worse and the scar on her back started to throb. "If we are...going to blend in we need to get some different clothes, or some clothes in general.... for Miera and I who are using our powers as clothing..." she slurred, and yawned a bit. "A couple days nap would be good too..."

Kari could barely make out the conversation of Miera, Kurai and Infern. Her eyes blurred from exhaustion. She could make out clothes and from that alone--she understood that they where going to have to blend in...eventually. She nodded simply at Infern's words. Finally, she crawled onto the bed and collapsed on the bed there.

Inferno listened to all the others input on where they stood on their current situation. "Surely Agni has something he's hiding but maybe if truely some of us do sign up and some of us like Infren stay out we all could find out quickly." After Kurai talked about new clothes she looked down maybe something different would be a good change in this new enviorment. She took a deep breath trying to clear her blurred vision, even though she was tired she didn't want to go to sleep with a last input on the matter. "I think if we are approched by Cleo and Tirain we should just act as if its our first time ever meeting them, showing no signs of aggression, or they might see something is off..." Noticing mostly everyone had fallen asleep she stopped talking maybe tomorrow would be better. So she got up making her way to one of the beds still left vacant and pulled herself under the covers mumbling a 'good night' to anyone still awake.

Infern chuckled at Kurai's comment and a smile appeared on his face for the first time since they had arrived in this time period. "I don't know about a couple of days, but I'll at least let you sleep until lunch time tomorrow, if you last that long. I'll be sure to wake you if you're still asleep when we have to leave." Infern noticed that most of the others had already settled in for the night, including Clex and Aren, so he decided that the conversation was over. "Go ahead and get some sleep. I'm not sure how much I trust Agni so I'll keep watch for a bit, just to be on the safe side." Infern pulled one of the chairs away from the table and placed it in a corner of the "kitchen" area. When all were asleep and Infern was satisfied that they weren't going to be disturbed, he crawled into the remaining empty bed and fell asleep.
(Unless someone wants to make a post about waking up first, I'll make another post tomorrow after I get some sleep.)
