oh man. thers so much stuff going on it it, I dont know where to begin.
Back story/setting:
Basically, set in the year 4000 and something. Humans have evolved into a special called Mages, (people with special abilities. the power to control the elements, read minds, etc. but only one power per person of course), uh, they evolved cus the earth was so ******** up and s**t from all the polution, so it wasn't really a natural evolution. ANYWAY. thats the back story and explanation for the setting.
So! humanity has evolved, but society and things have de-volved, so there is no technology or anything like that. people rely on their powers, etc. they dont pollute the earth any more, cus its weak n stuff.
Main story:
main plot follows around 18 year old Avalon, who is a fire-mage (can produce and control fire) like her whole family. but for "some reason" she has a hard time controlling it. her little sister Helena doesnt have any powers for "some reason" (which is later explained) and one day Avalon almost kills her sister by accident, through fire. Avalon runs away, etc
while she is running away she saves a remarkable little creature from death. He is a tiny little white fox, with puny little wings that arent even big enough to lift him from the ground.
the rest of the story is kind of a secret, but its quite exciting. she goes to live in a place called Frost Arch, a city of snow, where many more things begin to unfold, and she has her little fox as a companion.
but he grows rediculously big. like the size of a horse O____o
and im not explaining this very well, am i?
it sounds stupid when i evaluate it...
but its much better to read and understand

that sounds cool. Wait are you done with it or did you decide to name the baby before you made it?
I havent finished it yet. Its 217 pages long, and only halfway through.
Its got a working title at the moment, which is just "Frost Arch"
