Tihamar smirked at Karn. “Not fair? It’s not supposed to be fair for you. You’re supposed to be proving your worth, remember? I suggest you don’t complain.” With a lingering caress, he left Eri’s side. “Okay, clues.” The god tapped his chin thoughtfully with his claw. “Hn. High above, yet drowning in water; swimming with my favorite partners.” He chuckled. “Very tasty!” The god clasped his paws behind his back. “Was that… informative enough? I will tell you whether you’re hot or cold. Gooood luck.”

She grinned and folded her arms across her chest as she gave the angelic a challenging look. "I'll allow you to go first, my dear. Find it in five minutes, or you will lose this round." She smirked at him as she settled herself on one of the stone half-walls that decorated the entranceway. "Your time starts right now, so get moving!" She laughed maniacally, overly amused by the game.

Violet Darkstarr Velika carefully makes her way up the walk into the temple, a sleeping form cradled in her arms and wrapped in a blanket against the cold. A large dark red rose is in her other hand. her eyes are wide as she looks around the altar room, studying the image of the zamphir goddess. after a few moments the baddie moves forward and kneels before the alter, placing her rose there in offering before whispering a small prayer asking for acceptance and passage into Her temple ((sorry I missed this post somehow >.<)) "A baddie." The voice was low and neutral, masking whatever thoughts that may lie beneath the words. The goddess was behind the baddie, having appeared there once she had touched the rose to the altar, watching her. Her many bat attendants were absent, serving the goddess in this or that task. Vesira was seated casually, floating in the air with her legs crossed seductively. A wine goblet was clutched in one claw and the other arm was rested casually on her leg, stroking the stake tied there. "Why have you come?" Vesira sloshed the red liquid in her glass around slowly, her fierce eyes never leaving the baddie as she sipped.

Karn smirked and took off. Simple. All he had to do is find anything that's liquid and floating...If that made sense. He trotted off, showing as if this was just entertainment to the two gods, but as soon as he turned the corner, he took off at a run. He knew the risks of dieties, being an angelic, and for all his bold words, he did want to be with their good graces, if not the boy, then Eri. She was...hot. Karn smirked as the word flew through his mind, but he put his mind to work. Where would he find the bracelet?
'Let's try the kitchen.' He thought, thinking of a sink. 'Or is there a pond? A floating pond? A waterfall? That might be it. Think, Karn. He didn't seem like he was joking. He found the open hallway and raced down, ending in the kitchen. He looked out any windows he could find to see if there were any pools of water out there. 'Nothing. Time's going by.' He ran out again, looking for stairs as well.

“How sporting you are Eri dear, letting him go first. It’s such an admirable trait.” Tihamar said as he watched Karn head off on his search. Well, he was going to have to give the male some... help. “Back in moment.” With that he disappeared, reappearing above the hurrying Dark Angelic. He floated in mid-air, a huge Cheshire grin on his face. “Tick-tock, tick-tock. Times wasting.” As Karn left the kitchen he quirked an eyebrow. “Hm, warm... oh wait, getting colder now. How sad.”

Fatal Irony ((sorry I missed this post somehow >.<)) "A baddie." The voice was low and neutral, masking whatever thoughts that may lie beneath the words. Her back stiffens slightly at the sound of the voice, and instantly she knew the Goddess was there behind her, her voice soft, but still vibrating with authority. Still on her knees, she slowly turns herself around, looking up to the goddess. The painting did her beauty no justice. After a moment, she realizes she is staring and quickly lowers her gaze. “I have come on behalf of my daughter.” Shifting the bundle in her arms slightly, she pulls the blanket open gently, revealing the still sleeping form of an infant zamphir.
The child lay sleeping in her mothers arms, her spider legs tucked snugly around her abdomen. In her arms she cuddled a small bat, the creature turning its head to study each of them carefully. After a moment the cooler air of the temple finally begins to make her stir. She bunches up her face for a moment then slowly opens her solid, deep purple eyes, blinking as she looks first to her mother and then to the Goddess, staring up at her.
“Her name is Velowa. Her other mother is a zamphir, like her. I have brought her here so she may see others like her, others who aren’t family.” She pauses for a moment before continuing. “And, perhaps, see if she would be worth your blessing and training, so that one day she may serve you.”

Eri chuckled with amusement as she listened with preternatural hearing to the sounds of her brother's chiding. Oh how she loved when Tihamar played with other faes. But she wanted this one to stay, so she quickly located the two males, a wide grin on her face. "Perhaps one of the newest visitors to the temple left something similar to what Tiha is asking for?" She shrugged her shoulders innocently.

Vesira leaned forward to examine the child more closely. She eyed the infant with interest, having never seen one blessed as she was with such interesting traits. Her face remained a mask as she looked back up to the mother of the zamphir. She seemed thoughtful, considering the baddie with far more scrutiny than the zamphirs that came and went through the temple. "A child's worth can not be measured, except by the worth of its parents. You are the only one present, so you must prove to me that your child is worthy to remain." the goddess' voice was calm and low, possessed of an inherent threat. She would not harm the child, but harm the mother she would if she failed, and the child would simply be cast out to her own devises. "You will be given three tasks, and how well you do with them will determine whether this child stays."

Velika took a deep breath and held it for a moment, letting it out slowly. She really wasn’t surprised; she knew she was going to have to prove herself, and her daughter, worthy of the goddess’s attention. She looks down at her daughter in her arms. Velowa turns her gaze back to her mother and smiles, a soft giggle bubbling up as she reached to tug at a loose lock of her mother’s hair. She was so beautiful and perfect. Velika would do anything for her, even die if necessary. She kisses Velowa softly on her forehead, then looks up at the goddess with determination in her eye. “What tasks must I do for you, Goddess?”

Karn froze when he said getting colder and turned, taking hesitant steps towards where he came from. His eyes flickered around, hoping for a hint. A small grin was still on his face, though his mind was reeling quickling.
'In water, with some form of creature that's delicious, but suspended in the air.' Karn thought, looking around him.

She remained stoic and calculating, debating what would be fitting for a baddie. The mortal couldn't possibly stand up against a vampire, so a sacrifice was out of the question. Vesira sat silently stroking her stake, deep in thought. The bat Judgment flew into the room and landed on the goddess' knee, awaiting her unspoken command. "You will take this bat with you, who will serve as my eyes and ears. Into the woods surrounding the temple you will venture, and bring to me a rare herb. It glows blue in moonlight, so you must leave when the moon is full. Tomorrow night is when you will go. The child will stay here, as it's dangerous in those woods at night. Don't worry," she added, her voice softening slightly. "She will be tended to with kindness. My own children have only just grown, and the child may stay in their nursery until you return." She waved a hand and the bat left, having received her orders. She will return the following night to guide the baddie into the woods. "There is a room for you past the dinign hall. Feel free to eat. Tonight, you are my guest." With that, the goddess was gone.

As Vampirella gazed up at the towering temple she was filled with the same mixed emotions she always felt when returning home. She was as dedicated a zamphir as any, but she herself had been changed into a vampire. She was a monster, a creature her kind was dedicated to destroying. She sighed again, noting the lightening of the sky. She hurried Yukio to the entrance, trying not to seem too desperate to get inside. "Yukio, you must speak with the goddess on your own this morning. Rest for the day, as she will certainly allow you to do, and in the evening I will speak on your behalf. For now, there is business I must attend to." She opened the doors and guided the male to the altar room. "Here is where you will wait for her and give her your offering. She can see into your heart and will know you are here with me." She patted the male on the back reassuringly and turned to disappear down a hall that lead to her chamber.

They had finally reached the Zamphir temple. And Yukio was in aw at how large and impressive it truly was. Never having been to a temple of a god before, the male had quite thought it would be amazing. But this just blew his mind.
He blinked as Vampirella seemed to rush him inside. It stroke him as a bit odd, but merely brushed it off. The altar room was as equally as impressive as the outside. And for a moment he just stared before the Zamphir's voice broke through the stupor that had entered his mind. Before he could even utter a word she was gone. There he stood, alone. The energy in the altar room seemed to suck the life out of him, but he continued to stand there. Waiting. Waiting for the Goddess to appear. A slight twinge of nervousness cast a single bead of sweat to run down his brow before quickly being wiped away.
What did he have to offer the Zamphir Goddess? Let a lone her bats. This was certainly going to be a difficult and challenging situation for him to face.

Tiha laughed. “Oh, Eri.” He smiled fondly at his sister. The god floated behind Karn, watching the first hesitant steps back towards the kitchen. “Waaaarmer now.” He said with a grin. The object he desired was in fact located on the tallest shelf in the kitchen... in a jar of pickles. But he wasn’t going to give the Dark Angelic anymore big hints. Once the fox was in the kitchen, the guy was on his own. “Time’s running out, better move faster.”

((When I post after Fatal, should I just use the random number generator to see if Karn finds it or not, so that I'm not godmodding, and it could be 1-5 he finds it 6-10 he doesn't, or something like that))
