My Rp with Chibi_Blue_Mouse

Kailee took the window seat and pressed her face against the window, searching for any sign of the werewolves, wondering slightly why Leon had pulled them out the emergency exit. However, she wasn't questioning it, he probably had his reasons. As the bus pulled away she slumped into her seat away from the window, sighing in relief. She had seen the werewolves, but they were too late to stop them. "Well . . . seems we escaped that time." she murmured softly. She then looked at Leon with a raised eyebrow. "Do you have any idea where this bus is headed?" she asked, her smile actually reaching her eyes this time as she took on a teasing tone.

He seemed lost in his own thoughts for a moment. He wondered why -for a moment- his parents had sent the hunters after him. He snapped out of it seconds later. 'The beach.' He said pointing to the flashing sign at the front of the bus. 'Our hideout is there.' He explained meeting her grin but it didn't meet his eyes his thoughts were still troubling him. He didn't want to trouble her with his problems when she had her own so did his best to hide them.

Kailee nodded, her smile fading slightly as she fell back into her earlier thoughts. She sighed, leaning her head against the window, looking outside. Every moment she spent with Leon seemed to make the decision harder. She was not surprised that her parents had sent hunters after her, but she was a little pissed that they weren't even going to let her sort things out for herself. She felt like just a jumble of mixed emotions.

The bus got clsoe to the stop Leon was after so he pressed the button to tell the driver that. 'Come on Kailee.' He said tenderly taking hold of her hand. 'Time to see our hide out.' He took some of the shopping she had bought and started to make his way to the front just as the bus pulled up to the stop.

Kailee nodded, following Leon without resistance. "Okay." she murmured softly, blushing a little from the way he held her hand. Why was she blushing?! It was awful! She couldn't . . . no . . . she couldn't possibly be . . . it'd just make her decision that much more painful!

He smiled when he caught a hint of her blushing and squeezed her hand just a tiny bit before opening the door to their apartment. 'There's two rooms a bathroom kitchen everything you need. I bought light blocking curtains for my room...I didn't know if you wanted to share or anything so we have a room each. The curtains block out all light. There's a little store jsut down the road with a butcher for all your needs. Um in one of those bags is toothbrush/paste feminine stuffs all those sorts of things I didn't know which product you used so I got one of everything...' He looked away. If he was human he might've blushed too. 'Well surfice to say I've tried to think of everything to make you comfortable while we're here.' He smiled a lopsided smile and absently pressed a kiss to her forehead and grabbed a bag and started finding places to put the things in the bag.

Kailee blushed a little as he mentioned the feminine stuff before that blush deepened when he kissed her forehead. "Th-thank you." she murmured softly, feeling both joy and pain. She had made her descision in that moment. She didn't want to do it, but she knew it was what she needed to do. She just hoped Leon could forgive her. With a sigh, she came up behind Leon and wrapped her arms around him, leaning her head on his back, hugging him. "Thank you for everything." she whispered softly, truly grateful for the time she had spent with him.

'You won't thank me in a moment when Itell you the truth...' He replied guilt written over the face she couldn't see. It took him a bit but he managed to say. 'I...I'm the Vampire prince they want to marry you too...I'm sorry I kept this from you but I only realised it in the clothing store. I...I understand if you hate me...I'm sorry.'

Kailee's eyes widened and she released him, backing away in shock. "You . . . what?" she asked, now even more confused than she had been before. "I . . . I . . . How . . . WHAT THE HELL?!" she snapped, unsure of how to handle the situation. "You're the Vampire prince?!! You?!!!" she shouted, still trying to even process the information. "You're the one I'm supposed to-" she cut off, frowning, thinking on something. "How did you find out I was the one you're supposed to . . . marry?" she asked softly, confused. She had beens so sure she had hidden that information well.

'I was only toying with the idea since we were both running away from a duty we didn't want to do...when those wolves and the Hunters came after us...one of the hunters pulled back and said something to the others. I couldn't hear it well but it sounded like they were pleased we were together. That confirmed it for me.' He refused to look at her completely ashamed that he'd kept this from her and probably broken her trust. He'd fallen for her and now he thought he was going to lose her. His undead heart twisted in the angony he refused to show. But his body language showed how upset he was at keepign this from her.

Kailee bit her lower lip, hugging herself a little bit, looking away from Leon. "So . . . I've been travelling with the person I was basically trying to run away from." she muttered to herself, trying to sort things out. She then just sat down on the floor and buried her head in her hands. "This just made everything that much more confusing!" she whisper-screamed into her palms.

'I...I'm sorry...' He choked out. He felt like crap. 'If...if you hate me or anything like that...the sun will be up soon you can push me into it...' He didn't know how to comfort her when she was like this he thought maybe if he gave her the option of pushing him into sunlight it might help her. 'But to be honest. I like you...a lot. I didn't mean to hurt you but you seemed at war with yourself and I just wanted to make things easier thought...I have a feeling I only made it worse...I'm sorry. I'll...I'll leave you to think and you can tell me what you want when you're ready.'

Kailee stayed sitting on the floor for a while, thoughts racing. Eventually she got up and, not wanting to have to face Leon in case her resolve wavered, searched around for a pencil and paper. After finding both she sat down at the table and started writing.

Dear Leon,

I'm returning to my people. I know you don't want to go back, and that's your decision, but my first duty has to be to my people. I hope you understand. I won't give away your location. Like I said, it's your decision to go back or not. I don't know what will happen once I go back, but I want you to know that I think I started to fall in lov.
I won't say goodbye.

Once finished with the letter, she pinned it to the refridgerator with a magnet and then headed off, changing into a wolf, picking up her clothes and running out the door. Every step felt like it was tearing a hole through her heart, but she had to go. She couldn't abandon her people . . . Even if Leon could abandon his.

A black car zoomed by her and pulled up in front of their location. He'd called his parents to come and get him the minute he heard her leave. It didn't take long for the Hunters to pull up and politely knock on the door. Before he opened it and grabbed the letter and stuffed it in his pocket to read later. 'Leonard. This little courting game is at an end. It's time to come home...where's the dog?' His aunt asked.
'Don't call her that!!!' He snapped claws and fangs out stretched. His aunt took a step back. 'My my has that...girl tamed you?' The girls laughed.
'Just take me home Bellatrix.' He hissed. 'At least there I'll be able to see her again. And send people to pack this up. I want it all there when they bring her to the manson.' He was in no mood to look at them then. Yes the female vampires were stronger but not to a male who'd fallen in love. As they escorted him into the car he spared one last look around wondering if he could see her. But he couldn't so he got into the car took the window seat and sat brooding the whole way home.

Kailee continued to avoid the werewolf hunters who were out looking for her. She wanted to return home in her own time, sorting through her feelings. That night she found a small cave to camp out in, hunted and then curled up under the shelter she had found to sleep. As she did she wondered what Leon was doing, if he was still on the run from his family or if he had returned. Or maybe he was chasing after her? That was too much to hope for, she supposed.
