I really like the guild mascot contest idea. Too bad we can't get Gaia to actually craft the winning item virtually, as an item we can equip.

But using tektek is a good way to go, thus if it's a mascot "suit" people can take turns wearing it and rallying guild members at events (or you can create a mule that acts as the mascot and thus, is always wearing the suit).
