Personality:
Lee is the type of person who tries to be very noble. In the face of adversity, his thought pattern goes into doing things for the greater good. So as long as the ends justify the means, within reason of course, he'll go along for the ride. He does have standards however and won't go down that path if it leads to lives being lost. Fighting isn't necessary for him, however when the time comes he'll accept it and do what's needed. Otherwise he'll try to talk others down.
Rules and regulations are his two mortal enemies. Lee figures it shouldn't matter getting approval or dealing with bureaucracy. This leads him to be sometimes rash and hotheaded in situations, fitting in very well with that Fire Nation stereotype.
In more personal matters, he can be quite awkward. Lee normally attempts to use humor to go through social situations. Romantic wise, he's an utter derp. With friends, when he's calm, he can be perceptive and cooperative.

His family had moved to the colonies a few generations back, his great something grandfather opted to avoid the scorn of his peers. He was some illegitimate child of some adulterous politician. The man was just an official, had no real power, but he certainly didn't let the women know that. Anyways, he took his family after seeing he was unwanted there and left for the Earth Kingdom colonies.
Their family had been smacked with hard times during the Hundred Year War and rampant gambling problems didn't help. Lee's father was one of the few to have never been foolish enough to try. He was a hard working man, toiled at the ground to make ends meet. His family life was more stable than previous generations. As for his mother, she was a teacher while his father was a farmer. Life was rough, but they always got by. However the boy always yearned for more in life.
Lee focused more on training in Fire Bending at a young age, showing talent for the art. Once he heard of the rabble going on with spirits, villages being attacked by them, and the Avatar, he took his chances and left to join them.

Gao was born in Republic City, to a seemingly broken family. Around the age of 10, his father left the family and the mother was a bit of a drinker. Feeling unloved, he finished what school he had left to do and quickly got a job, bookkeeping for a large organization that manufactured and sold vehicles. Being bored and rapidly feeling his life slip away, he joined the pro-bending circuit. Its rules and limitations soon bored him as well, and Gao passed away from it. It was too base, too focused on victory, on winning, never the actual feeling of fighting. It was too limited. The safety gear didn't allow him to feel the rush of the other combatants.
Thus, Gao quit his job, lacking a purpose, and simply drifted from job to job, starting fights anywhere he could, either provoking or putting himself in the way of one. Over time, he decided to use his power and ability to help those around him break free as he did.

Originally Tikaani was no one of interest. Average parents, average vocation, average days every average year of his average life. However, one moment that could be argued of either stupidity or courage would change this. His home was attacked by a corrupted spirit, and while this was not necessarily an unheard of thing, Tikaani touched the spirit instead of fleeing from it or fighting it. It wasn't a wonder how she was hid away, no one paying attention to her at all. Other than the servants and occasional relative, she grew up isolated from her people. Rohaku's father was born into Fire Nation Royalty due to his Mother marrying the Fire Lord's son. Rohaku's father a complex man who sought nothing more than to bring peace into the Fire Nation, but his ideals troubled the royal family as the man wanted to expand the Fire Nation's Royalty branch into different families of benders. He believed total discrimination against those who were non-benders and/or different benders could deteriorate if everyone was a part of 'something'. However, this troubled the higher-ups as they began to scheme a way to silence Rohaku's father once and for all.
Little did they know Rohaku's father began to start his plan way before they were able to stop it. He fell in love, but not with just any woman. She was a water bender from the lower Southern water-tribe who specialized in dark arts but his father did not know, but they were madly in-love with each other. Soon enough the water-bender female turned pregnant, but sadly the Southern Water-Tribe found out the father's name and the news spread like wildfire. When word reached the Fire Nation main branch they sentenced Rohaku's father to death, for treason against the Main Family. Before his death he uttered the words: "The sun always sets on the Fire Nation, and the Moon will rise to take it's place."
The female water-bender was protected by her tribe, but the Fire Nation wanted that baby in order to raise him properly. They fought off the armies for countless days in order to protect their own but the Fire Nation's armies were just too powerful and came in voluminous numbers. The woman was captured and taken into the Fire Nation as a pampered slave until her baby was born, but a rumor broke out about a 'Blood moon' and on that day ... things changed. The female had self-taught herself blood bending hoping to escape with her child but the baby's due date was becoming closer and time was running out. She then planned her escape as the crimson tint covered the night sky. Sirens screeched as she broke out and she knew it was only time before they caught her .. or worse, killed her and the baby. She was ...unstoppable. The mother would not give up and the firebenders could not harm her or the baby as rules dictated the son or daughter is Fire nation royalty, she fought against many of the benders using her blood-bending until it was too late. She reached the border of the Fire Nation as her soles touched the brisk waves that moved to and fro. She fell onto her knees as her water broke and she was forced into labor as the Fire Nation army stood upon her. The baby was born in a puddle of blood in the sea and a single man began to walk from the large crowd.
She could not speak a word but the only sign of life came from the slightest twitch of her lower mouth. A smile. He would reach for the baby as the mother was slipping away from this world. As he touched the baby and removed the umbilical cord a quick hand touched his arm. It was her once more but this time she had no fight left in her. She spoke a name, the name of the baby. "Rohaku". Ro for his father, Rozan. Haku from his mother, Kahaktsumi. As it turned out to be a boy.

Meili was born to poverty, sickness, and death. She was raised in the pit of the world -- the places that saw the most suffering in the absence of an Avatar. She lost her mother to the birth of her younger brother. A sickness overtook them both, caused by the horrible conditions in which they had to live. Neither recovered. Both died. Meili was left alone with her father, who blamed not only himself, but also the absent Avatar. After all, if the Avatar were around to do his job, the world would not be in such a mess, life would be better and easier, and there would not be so much suffering. Meili carried that mindset to adulthood, especially after her father perished when she was twelve years old. He worked in a mine in a Fire Nation Colony in order to support his small family and was killed in a cave-in, leaving Meili an orphan. She managed to be picked up by an acting troupe, who recognized the grace of an Airbender and the promise of a dancer in her. They brought her to Ember Island, where she joined the theater and flourished.

Personality:Aiden isn't very social around most people where most of the time he just will stay alone or try to get to know the person after being around them. He is hard headed and known to be a complete idiot when he’s joking around but when serious he won't take anything from anybody unless they have a valid point. Most of the time he's in a joking mood and will just smile most of the time or stay quiet, in that sense he doesn't seem serious until he’s needed to or fighting someone who interests him. He isn't prone to anger easily but when it is about his comrade he is easier to anger. As a fighter, Aiden is much unbiased when it comes to his enemies. He shows the same degree of ruthlessness to his opponent regardless of age or gender. He is able to carefully look past his feelings and see the real situation at hand no matter his emotions about the target or opponent. For whom he kills he always sends them off with a smiling face so the last thing they see is a pleasant thing before he kills them. His natural battle instincts are finely tuned and when in battle his sadistic nature breaks through.

Aiden was born on ember island the son of a firebender and an airbender. At an early age he was shown to be a firebender when he set his mother's clothes on fire by accident in a fit of rage. Seeing that his father instead of punishing him taught him how to defend himself by showing him the way of the sword and how to firebend. Aiden wasn't a prodigy he would always have a hard time as his father taught and had heard his father saying that he wasn't going to be teaching him anymore because he knew Aiden couldn't be taught. From this Aiden took his fathers sword "inkor no okami" and fled Ember island to the forests of the fire nation. What he didn't hear was his mother was expecting a son to be born and his father didn't want to hurt the child and wanted to take care of it. Aiden along with his fathers blade wondered the forests till he found a hut. He attempted to take food from there till he was knocked into the ground ,literally, by a female earthbender named Rei. He explained to her what was going on and that he wasn't trying to hurt anyone so she promised to help him out by having her husband teach him. From there three years passed under the tutelage of Rei and Kasai was where he learned firebending and the art of the sword. Now he wanders the world hoping to be of use and help defeat the darkened spirits with his flame.
