King was leaning over just right, allowing Shanahan to hit him over and over, which he couldn't block with both of his arms occupied. After a few hits, he dropped Matt's legs, and then another punch sent him stumbling backwards.

The Punk laid on his back for a brief moment, more relieved than ever to be saved from the brutal submission hold. But he couldn't hold off long; it was time to begin the assault once more. He pushed up to his feet and quickly went running after the backpedaling King. This was his time to shine!
A large arm lifted up in a forceful attempt to clothesline Kelly King over the top rope!

2.0 stumbled back against the rope and then suddenly Shanahan was upon him and clotheslining him over the top rope! 2.0 wrapped his arms around the rope as he was flipped over it, and barely managed to hold onto the rope with his fingertips, pulling himself up to stand on the apron.

Matt couldn't believe it! The King was still hanging on! A roar of disapproval once again echoed through the arena as The God of Punks stepped back and brought his forearm forward, attempting to knock Kelly off the apron right as he got his balance!

King ducked under the attack and then launched his shoulder forward to try and counter Shanahan with a short spear through the ropes to get him to back off. If he succeeded, he would quickly scamper back into the ring.

Ouch! The wind was knocked out of Shanahan was The King's shoulder connected, causing him to stumble back a spare few paces! 2.0 was still in this, and that wasn't going to do. Without wasting a moment, The God of Punks surged with energy and went sprinting towards his target once more, hoping to knock him out with another clothesline!

2.0 looked at Shanahan like a cow looks at an oncoming train, but his instincts kicked in as he ducked down and tried to back body drop Shanahan out of the ring and out of the match!!

The God of Punks went airborne, flying over the ropes! Grasping for his chance to remain in the match, his hands grabbed onto the top rope and held firm as he fell down, his feet smack against the apron... His feet were inches from the ground; he was still in!
Hanging with his back turned to the ring was far from ideal. He desperately turned himself around and pulled his feet back onto the apron...

2.0 turned around and looked over his shoulder, seeing that he'd failed in his quest to defeat Matt Shanahan. Better pack up and go home. There was no way he could win now. Oh wait, there might be one. King looked at the corner ropes and ran at them. Leaping up, be springboarded off the middle rope, turning in midair and trying to dropkick Shanahan's 300 pound a** off the apron!!!

Shanahan's perfect 300 pound body was just regaining it's balance as the sloppy lucha-wannabe came springboarding through the air. His feet connected against The God of Punks' chest, causing him to fall backwards and fall onto the mats below! The fans let out a roaring gasp as The Punk was eliminated from the match!
Rage simmered in his eyes after impact; NO! It wasn't supposed to end like this! He was quick to roll back up to his feet, eyes full of fire glaring at 2.0.

King was on his stomach after the elimination, looking out of the ring at Shanahan. He smirked and winked at the larger wrestler. "Was it good for you too?" He asked as he stood up and taunted the fans. A large part of the crowd was cheering for the excitement they had created, some booing for Shanahan's unceremonious ejection. However, as King celebrated, he had his back to the God of Punks.

The God of Punks' short fuse burnt out faster than a Californian forest in a dry heat. No one kicked Shanahan. No one mocked Shanahan. And no one -winked- at Shanahan.
The rules of the match were completely disregarded as Matt slid back into the ring behind King, raising to his feet immediately. The fans that were still on Matt's side suddenly erupted, while King's loyal subjects began to chant "LOOK OUT!" The Punk aimed to grab Kelly King by the back of his hair and his pants, hoping to lift him up high above his head with a roar that could shake the arena!

King was lifted up with relative ease from behind by the bigger and stronger man. High up over the heads of the other competitors even. King's arms flailed a little bit. He could see his house from up here! ... God he hoped he didn't HIT his house from up here. "Hey! Hey put me down! Who do you think I am, Batman?"
...And then it dawned on him just how similar the comparison might be in the next few moments of his still young life.

"No one... ********... WITH ME!" He shouted as he slowly carried the King to the opposite of the ring, completely ignoring all the other competition once more. With a sudden heave, Shanahan channeled all of his brute strength to throw The One True King over the top rope, aiming him right at the announcer's table!

King went flying through the air, arms and legs flailing. A famous JR commentary could be remembered as time slowed down and he sailed towards the table. "How do you learn to fall off a 20 foot ladder?" One of many things he'd never learned, even as master of the ladder match. He had also never learned how to use a table to break his fall and not feel pain.
2.0 crashed through the announcer's table at ringside. The table almost seemed to explode as King shattered it, tossed like a paper airplane! Referees crowded around him to check if he was okay, as he didn't move a single inch after the landing, considering all the squealing and flailing he was doing midair.
Needless to say, he had been thrown over the top rope and eliminated, in a Kingly way.
