"Protect!" I shouted. Brunor covered himself in Normal-type energy in time to deflect another of Bohdan's Sludges. As he released the energy, he began glowing brightly - a sign of evolution. When the light faded, he was a Kirlia.

"Good job, Brunor," I smirked, walking up for him. "Time for a trade. Feel up to another evolution?" I asked, holding out the Dawn Stone.

Brunor nodded, and handed me the Lucky Egg. In turn, I used the Dawn Stone on him and triggered a second evolution. When the light faded again, he was a Gallade - and much taller than he was used to being. Rala smiled as he stumbled, remembering what it was like when she ate that Rare Candy and forced her evolution into Gardevoir. After a couple of minutes, I recalled both of them.

Thankfully, the Misty Terrain was still in effect when I let Angeal out of his ball, so he didn't get Poisoned from Bohdan's Toxic Spikes. "Alright, time for round two. And if I don't, you will." I retorted with a smirk as Angeal nodded at Bohdan, ready to fight.

The man would watch as the chicken began to flex and bulk up, its muscles beginning to bulge under those feathers, its offensive and defensive strengths increasing. Looking at his own Pokemon who was slightly bigger and more hardy defensively but not stronger offensively. If they were to get into a stat up stand off then Angeal would come out on top eventually, this wasn't a stand off Bohdan could win for long.

"Yeah, nah, sorry but you're going to have to lay off the roids, bird brain. Bohdan, take it back down a peg, use Clear Smog." The Snagem leader ordered his Poison type.

At this point Bohdan was starting to shake free from its confusion but not just yet fully. Inhaling deep the gas bag would attempt to spit a strange Poison based mud at the Combusken which upon contact would rob it of its Bulk Up boost, the strange mud erasing any stat changes. On the other hand it was still slightly confused and if it failed it would instead send its self flying backwards into a wall and slam into it, hurting its self.

Sub would smile as the bird conjured up its own Clear Smog, the Combusken sending an indentical mud-like substance as Bohdan, the strange substance hitting him and robbing him of his defensive boosts. Fortunately it didn't do as much damage as it would have to Angeal due to both Bohdan and the move being Poison type.

"Man, gave me a taste of my own medicine...sludge...mud...stuff. Whatever, you get what I was going for." Sub commented. "No matter! Looks like this disgusting pink is beginning to fade away finally." He pointed out as the Misty Terrain began to gradually disappear until it was completely gone. "You know what that means, right? Time to for some trickery! Bohdan, Smog!" The man ordered.

Now finally rid of its Confusion and that weird pink mist Bohdan could finally do what it does best; throw out some poison. The Koffing however wasn't that could at concentrating poisons at always deadly levels so it had to resort to a Smog instead of a Poison Gas or Toxic but that was fine for now. With a gleeful laugh the Poison Gas Pokemon would float around the room, spewing thick clouds of poisonous Smog from its body until the entire area was filled with the stuff, making visibility difficult and breathing in painful. The Smog wouldn't last as long as or be as thick as a Smokescreen but it would be enough to befuddle its opponent and hopefully poison it.

As t he Combusken closed in and slashed at Bohdan, dealing pretty good damage, all Sub could do was laugh. "As much as I love a well pulled off Dark move this is a perfect opportunity for my little Koffing here to try something out he was born with but never really got to flex. Bohdan, show them your Psywave." The man commanded his Pokemon.

With the Combusken still close Bohdan would give off a cheerful chiming laugh as waves of pulsating psychic energy flowed outward from its body, each time it laughed a new wave of energy pushed outward against the Fighting bird. The move was erratic and poorly executed but it would be enough to hurt the Combusken where it mattered.

Sub watched as Angeal hit Bohdan with a Body Slam, sending the Koffing tumbling through the air for awhile until it was able to regain control of its self and right its positioning in the air. Alas the Koffing was still smiling and happy, despite being pretty hurt its joy was unscathed.

"Oh well, you know old kooky me." Sub smiled at Terashi. Was he still toying with him? It was hard to tell sometimes. "Any who, poor Bohdan here has taken some damage finally, what a shame if he...Pain Split!" The man cackled as he pointed at Angeal.

With a happy giggle the skull symbol on Bohdan's body would begin to glow and suddenly a quick shot of red energy would shoot at and pierce the Combusken's chest. Due to the irregularities in their health Angeal would feel a good chunk of her health taken away from her and given to Bohdan, who was now looking much more upbeat and healthy, Angeal couldn't say the same. Yeah, Sub was toying with him.

Sub smiled as the Combusken closed and prepared to punch his Koffing with its burning fists. This little sparring session would end soon but Sub was still determined to have some fun with it, all the way to the last minute. "Time to show them you aren't as big of a pushover as they think. Show them what we've been working on, buddy. Thunder." The man said with glee.

As Angeal closed in and slammed its first burning fist into Bohdan the Koffing would let out a shout and summon forth from seeming nowhere a fierce clap of Thunder from above. It was inexperienced in this move so it needed to draw the Combusken in close and that it did as the bolt of electricity crashed down from above them.

"Don't mention it, I had fun." Sub said with a smile as he recalled Bohdan before the Koffing had a chance to rush over to him and do his happy, but smelly, dance. He would then turn to recall Hop-Frog as well, the Froakie not too happy that he didn't get to battle. "Next time." He told the frog as he recalled him, the man then bending down to pick up Hemlock inside his flower pot. "See you around." He told Terashi before he exited the STR.
