SubonicXP As Tristen made it back to the locker room to heal his Pokemon he would find his locker room 'friend' was not there to greet him like after every battle thus far. Maybe he was competing too this whole time and lost, who knows. Either way it wouldn't be long before Tristen would be called to take the stage for the final match of the tournament. Once Tristen exited through the locker room doors he would find that the stadium was far more packed than people, literally people on top of people. As he walked down the path leading to the battlefield people were reaching out to touch him or get him to sign pieces of paper, stuffed Electrike dolls, and even candid pictures of him. Where did all of this come from? Waiting on the battlefield was the ref from every other battle and another familiar face standing where all of his opponents have stood before. "Hey!" Alan cheered, waving at Tristen energetically. "Funny meeting here huh?" He said with a chuckle. "And here you have it folks, the end of today's tournament! On one side we have the newcomer and underdog...Tristen the Bolt!" The ref announce, the crowd chanting Tristen's name in response. "And on the other one of the dome's most popular trainers...Alan the Unbeaten!" And the crowd's chants began to fade away from Tristen's name and flood the stadium with almost cult-like chants for Alan the Unbeaten. This didn't sound good. "Can I talk to my opponent for a bit?" Alan asked the ref before he had a chance to say anymore. The ref just shrugged at the question, really not sure how to respond. "I bet you're confused, huh? You're a nice guy and everything and I only gave you info on each of your opponents in hope that you would win each time and make it here. What better end to Alan the Unbeaten's fifth dome victory right before taking on the brain? I mean, the crowd's love a good underdog story. Gotta play the crowd, ya know?" He laughed. "Ahem...if you're finished then let begin the final match! Trainers, send out your Pokemon and begin!" The ref declared. "Right! I hope you stay and watch my battle with Tucker after this. Maybe we can get some dinner later as well. No hard feelings, right?" Alan said as he tossed a Safari Ball onto the field, the device bursting open in a show of light to reveal a Gliscor. As Tristen waited and tended to his Pokemon, he started to realize that the one that came to him all the time wasn't around. Really, come to think of it, the locker room seemed a lot emptier now. No one was allowed back in when they lose. "....." Tristen then finished tending to his Pokemon, just in time for the PA to announce his name again to get him back out on the stage. The boy took a deep breath and walked out. As he made it to the stage, Tristen stared in confusion. Alan was there across the field, ready to battle him. Furthermore, he heard 'The Unbeaten's" explanation and the boy's heart sunk. This...was just all so he could win over the crowd? That's it? All of this pressure, all of Tristen's hard work overcoming those prior three opponents, was all so he could make it here and lose just to make him look better? "......." That's...just...wrong. The Gliscor came out and Tristen shook his head. Suddenly he felt he needed to try to beat this guy. This wasn't like the other three. This one needed to be put in his place. "Go! Xatu!" Tristen shouted, tossing out his first Pokeball. In a flash of light, the ball revealed the Xatu, wings spread out for the moment as it cried "Xatu!" before folding them back before him. Tristen looked at Gliscor, and just looking at him, he almost looked like he could take a beating as well as dishing one, while Xatu only had the offensive part down since evolving. Tristen figured this may be as good as time as ever before things get too hairy to brace himself for what he's probably about to get into. "Xatu! Guard Swap!" the boy shouted. "XATU!" The Xatu spoke up, looking at his target with piercing eyes gazing towards him. Someone was going to feel a bit more vulnerable.

Lacuna was unprepared for the sudden destructive burst of icy hell the Clamperl unleashed, lifting the Mawile off of her feet and sending her flying back across the battlefield. Landing on the ground with a loud thud, the Mawile struggled back up onto her feet. Seemed the wounds were beginning to creep up on her. "Okay. How to do this....How.To. Do. This." Leslie narrated, tapping her head as she tried to remember something. Meanwhile, Lacuna picked herself up off the ground, her large mouth beginning to glow again with pink energy. Wait, Mawile can use elemental fangs. "Lacuna, Thunder Fang!" Leslie ordered, halting the Mawile mid-stride as Lacuna found herself having to force her attack to change. Finally grinding through to electric energy from the fairy stuff that had been previously built up, she charged at the Clamperl and aimed to snap the thing up with the now electrified jaw she was sporting.

The Scrafty was picked up and swept away by the Fairy Wind. The hit was devastating, its Fighting and Dark typing make it extremely vulnerable to the Fairy type move and on top of it all he had leaped to such a great height that the fall back down was horrible. Needless to say the Scrafty was not going to pick its self off the ground any time soon. "Maaan dawg!" Whined the trainer as he recalled his Pokemon. He would soon toss another ball down to the grassy area below.
"Exploud!" Roared the purple Pokemon as he appeared from his ball, wasting no time into doing what it did best, be very very loud. Hyper Voice.
-----
"Oooh, Guard Swap. Very nice." Alan complimented Tristen as he watched Gliscor look down at its self with a confused look on his face, like he felt different somehow. "Maybe that will help your bird survive Night Slash." He smiled.
The Gliscor would give a devious laugh before it jettisoned its self at the Xatu, the purple blur flying past the bird with the intent to slash it with one of its Dark chi empowered open claws.
-----
The Clamperl cried out in pain as it took the Thunder Fang, the pressure from the bite its self cracking its shell a bit but it was the electricity flowing through it that would do the Clamperl in. "Oh no..." The girl said, dismayed.
"Sorry sugar, looks like your pearl didn't shine." The host said with a laugh. "Winner is Leslie yet again!" The crowd cheered for Leslie's win, her opponent recalling her Pokemon hastily and fleeing into the crowd. "Next type sugar." The host asked.

The bird brought itself upright again and unleashed a powerful psychic blast upon the Gliscor.

Leslie looked at her Mawile, quickly deciding now might be a good time for something a little less...intensive. "Dragon type. I think we need a bit of a break." Leslie frankly told the announcer, examining the crowd again.

The powerful Psychic attack hit Gliscor and sent the scorpion bat thing flying. Looks like having the defenses of a Xatu was as horrible as Alan feared it would be. "Grab the beam and give it another Night Slash!" Alan said with a smile. As Gliscor tumbled through the air it regained some of its composure to grab a hold of one of the dome's support beams with its tail claw. Using the beam as support and momentum it would hurl its self back at Xatu, preparing to deliver another Night Slash.
-----
"Dragon! How fierce!" The host exclaimed as she handed Leslie her Full Restore. "Let's go! Come on!" A kid said as he jumped onto the stage, a Flygon popping out of its ball as he did. "Oh wow, what a cute young man!" The host giggled, the young boy's face turning red in response.

The Gliscor, although taking a great deal of damage, quickly got back its momentum. "Huh!?" Tristen was even astounded as to how quickly Gliscor got back on the assault. "Xatu, use-!" The Gliscor came back down quickly than anticipated and once again, took a nasty slash. Xatu managed to get back up, the only thing saving it was in fact the defenses that it robbed the Gliscor, but it wasn't going to be around for much more than that. He was pretty resigned to the fact now that Xatu was probably not going to win this fight like this; he had to think about what was to come. Which...really, could be anything. "Xatu! Future Sight!" Tristen shouted. The Xatu stood there, looking off towards the sky. There was something out there. An attack was on its way...

"Gah!" Amaranth had to put her hands to her head from the sudden Hyper Voice booming across the palace, her ears ringing from the sheer volume that Exploud was able to produce. Her Togekiss wasn't taking it any better, if the shrill cry she let out from the attack's volume and force were any indication.
Trying to make the noise stop, she flung a single Aura Sphere. Despite the usual properties of the move, however, the sound made it harder for her to concentrate and make the attack do what she wanted, causing the shot to fly around haphazardly as it went towards Exploud's general area.

"Predicting the future? You see winning in your future? I don't know." Alan taunted Tristen. "Finish that thing off with one last Night Slash." I guess Alan was the type of guy that found something that work and stuck to it. I suppose it got him this far so why fix something that isn't broken?
"Glis!" Shouted the Gliscor as it sailed towards Xatu, preparing to deliver another sinister slash upon it. And while it was moving quick Tristen could tell that it did not have the same speed and power behind it. Without the momentum the damage it took earlier was showing.
-----
The Aura Sphere would explode on Exploud's foot and while it hurt it startled it more so as it stumbled backwards and tripped, falling flat on its back. The large Pokemon was unable to do nothing but struggle to get back up. Talk about lucky.

Galvantula only had a Slash attack to go on, which may do a decent amount of damage, but with that Gliscor flying about like it is, he's going to need to have a bit more mobility on hand. "Dragonite!" The boy tossed out the ball and out came the massive dragon, ready for battle. "ARRRO!" The dragon roared out. "Dragonite! Dragon Claw!" he shouted. The dragon would then kick off the ground and rush for the Gliscor, his claws lighting up with such fury.

"Dang, if only that bird didn't swap it." Alan said with a chuckle and a head shake as he recalled his Pokemon. "It's alright. Let's see how we match up with this next one." The boy said, taking out a Premier Ball and tossing it onto the field. "Gallade!" Shouted the Psychic Pokemon as he appeared from his ball. "Psycho Cut." The Gallade would obey accordingly, one of its elbow blade extending outward, gaining a pink aura, and then the Pokemon raced towards the Dragonite.

As the Dragonite hovered in the air, it looked down at the Gallade, readying himself. With the psychic wave rushing for him, the Dragonite braced himself as the attack crashed into him. Dragonite flipped backwards a couple of times as the attack made impact, stopping up right. "Dragonite! Hurricane!" Tristen shouted. "ARRRO!" The Dragonite retaliated, unleashing the massive storm upon the battlefield.

Looking at the Flygon as Leslie sprayed down Lacuna, she began to formulate some sort of idea on how to face the Dragon type. "Might as well go obvious. Play Rough." She ordered, pointing straight at the Flygon. Lacuna charged forward, already scything away with her large mouth to slam the Ground type around before it could have any chance to defend.
