"How about I teach you some words so you can learn to speak better? What should your first word be? Can you try saying White Whine again? Try hard this time it's your name" Nadrick fluttered his wings hoping to encourage the little baby.

She looked down at her paws and wrinkled her nose. "W...w...w..." Closeing her eyes she took in a deep breath. "Wiy Wine." Her tail flicked back and forth, it sounded like what he had said, but wasn't exactly that. Her nose wrinkled again. "W..w...w...Whita...Wine..."

"Your getting better! Your mother and father are going to be so proud of you! Can you say Mommy and Daddy now?" Nadrick was surprised a few days old and she was almost able to say her name. Nadrick praised her and clapped his hands, he was so proud of her. He fluttered his wings in excitment.

"M...m...mawme..." She clapped her paws a few times and giggled. Falling backwards, she grabbed her feet and wiggled her toes. Sitting upright again she thought long and hard. "D..d...dwade.." Clapping her paws again she giggled more and fell backwards again holding onto her feet.

"That's a good start can you say Nadrick and Red Wine? Your doing so good pretty soon you'll be able to talk!" Nadrick fluttered his wings and clapped for her as she was learning so well. He thought she was so cute, such a happy soul all the time. Nadrick took a quick glance over at Red Wine to make sure he was behaving.

Clapping her paws again she grinned. "Nadwick." She knew how to say that almost perfectly, since she had said it earlier when he was trying to teach her how to talk. She clapping her paws more and more, fluttering her wings and bouncing up and down on her pillow.
His eyes were closed, though he wasn't asleep. He was just listening to what was going on. Ears flat against his head he gnawed on his pillow a bit, hopeing this silly crap would be over and he could go be with White again.

"Very Good, But can you say Nadrick not Nawick? Make the "DR" sound instead of the "W" sound. Let's try it again!" Nadrick clapped and fluttered his wings happily. When Nadrick looked at Red it seemed as if he was just sleeping. Nadrick wondered if he didn't teach Red words he might be slow when he's older, who cares if he's a little slow that brat could care less about me.

She sneezed and rubbed her nose. "Nadr...r...ick." Clapping her paws she grinned widely, her eyes danceing happily. Grabbing the corner of her pillow, she started to gnaw on it, her tail sticking up in the air flicking back and forth happily. This game was fun.

Nadrick fluttered his wings and picked up White and started swinging her around."You did it! You said my name" Nadrick set her back down on her pillow and tickled her under chin with his tail."Let's see if you can say any other words, let's try White Wine again, take it one word at a time try saying White first then try saying Wine, then put them both together." Nadrick clapped and fluttered his wings so fast he leviatated momentarily.

Blinking, she rubbed her nose again as if she had sneezed then closed her eyes. "Why...Why...Whhhh...Whiii...White..." Opening her eyes she grinned widely then tried the next word. "Wyyy...Wiii...nnnn...Wine..."

"You did it you said your name!" Nadrick tickled her with his tail and clapped his hands. What should I teach her now, regular items and words he thought. If she learns more words she can start forming sentences and talking. " Can you say pillow? Separate the word first then put it together, I think it's easier that way, so Pil- than -low." Nadrick hoped he could expand her vocabulary by the time her mother came back so her mother could see how much she had learned. But would her mother be upset that Red didn't know anything. Would she think I was playing favorites? Well Red really never wanted to do anything with Nadrick so thought it couldn't be his own fault. Red's parents would have to teach him because he refused to learn from Nadrick.

She gnawed on the corner of the pillow and growled lightly. "Pwi....fan....low..." She replied, though muffled because of the pillow in her mouth. Her tail lashed back and forth as she continued to gnaw on it.

Nadrick picked her up and set her down so she would stop gnawing on the pillow. She must have thought she was supposed to make the "Than" sound I made when I was sounding it out. " Let's try that again" Nadrick pointed down at the pillow,"Say Pillow" Nadrick turned to the other pillow to see if Red was behaving.

Grinning, she wiggled her tail around. "Piwwow!" Clapping her hands together she giggled loudly and moved around on the pillow, gnawing on the corner a bit more. Her tail whipping around as she did so.
At that moment, Grapes appeared from behind the curtain. Smileing warmly, she listened to Nadrick try and teach White to speak. Her tail moved slowly back and forth, her ear twitching lightly. "Well that's cute. Seems she can talk a little now. Though not clearly, but she'll learn." Walking over, she scooped White up, then Red. "It's time for them to eat now." Thinking for a moment she smiled. "I'm trying to figure out what else for you to do." Furrowing her brows she thought long and hard. "Well, I can't really think of anything now, so you can go to one of the rooms downstairs and make yourself comfortable if you wish. You can get to them through the large door on the left." Turning around she walked towards the curtain again. She turned her head and smiled. "Thank you for takeing care of my babies." With that she dissapeared behind the curtain.
She giggled and waved her paw good bye to him then clung to Grapes' shoulder.

Nadrick was dissappointed he liked watching the babies especially White.But nw that their mother has them I might not get to see them that much. Nadrick waved his tail sadly and and waved his light blue paw but White was already gone. He was already missing her. I guess I have to do what Grapes told me to. So Nadrick went downstairs and picked the closest door to the stairs to he could get to the balcony quicker to see the babies. He layed down on the bed and decided to take a nap, watching babies sure can wear someone out.
